Yeah, like after the Comm Officers when people got their toons deleted. Whambulance incoming.

AFAIR the price bump didn't last long, because deleting a bunch of stuff nobody wants doesn't inspire more people to want it, it just creates a temporary supply deficit.
    *facepalm x10*

In my opinion they could have been nerfed along with the Spiderbots if the devs had simply taken more time to see the root of the problem as they work on the same concept.

If I had ever gotten a message or anything from the devs asking me to remove the arcs in the 3 or more weeks they have been up I would have done so, as I did today when they decided to ban one and that is fine with me, it will not be republished, if they wish to do the same to the others then fine but I am not purposely removing them and dealing with the aggro from rude people telling me to risk my account etc and honestly it wouldn't make any difference, If mine were removed there are tons of over versions made by other people that are exactly the same that they would just latch onto.

I'll do my part if I am asked, but I cant stop it completely this is not what I intended it to turn into, If the devs wish to contact me asking me to take them down then please do, I am almost begging you, but untill I have a reason that wont happen.

Aqua, we've talked a few times in-game (we debated giving them stealth or Rooted), and I gotta say man, that is humility in action.

We would be so lucky to have that sort of honor in most areas of the game.

    Cheers, mate.

After a few mishes, I'll know whether they are or not. And a simple death-fest isn't enough to classify one as an idiot.

I teamed this morning with a pair of newbs who were running +2 and getting Vahz missions *SHUDDER*. Lots of deaths, zombie puke everyplace, ambushes, resurrected zombies, but sub-10 no consequences, and it was a learning experience for them.

I remember not knowing Vahz were tough until I got to Freaks. Then I was all: "Lulz, that's it?"

There is a small part of me, though, Munki, that remembers how tough it was when I first joined. How much I praised the first level 50 team in PI to let me come with them (at the time I was a level 18 rad/rad). It yanks on the heart strings; then I see they don't have a single vet badge and are level 40+. It's almost impossible; it took me about 10 months to get my first 50 because I coincidentally did every level-appropriate TF, respec, Trial.

The thing missing from these AE babies isn't experience and know-how... it's love of the game.

I'm "meh" about it. It is boring as heck, though.

What I'm more concerned about is the guy trying to sell his WoW account on Atlas broadcast. True story. Exploit shmhexploit, I don't play with anyone under 9 months unless they seem genuine. *shrug* I'm a fascist.

  13. I <3 Samuel and Techbot. That is all.
  14. The level boost could easily be explained with tech and ingenuity. Simply, my character will be getting smarter, more tactical, as well as making subtle improvements to his technology.

*shrug* I could go into a more scientific explanation, but I will be most certainly having troubles explaining some of the later powers.

    Show me the limits then

The human brain has an upper limit of about 3.6 X 10 to the 19th power in bytes.

So, 10,000,000,000,000,000,000 x 3.6 bytes of information. While a monumental number to be sure, it is FAR from infinite.

Some people have more neural connections, some people have less. A safe estimate and average would be about 1000TB of information accessed faster than a SSD. Biomolecular computing is better then silicon, though it is arguable if it is better then a true quantum computer. A smaller number to wrap your mind around would about 8.67 exabytes.

Thankfully, our mind almost works like a RAID system on overdrive; neurons can access pieces of memories (which are stored as programmed chemical reactions; same with emotions. You get serious problems when the improper emotional response is given in some situations), making it much more streamlined, if not fragmented. Then you have the peripheral nervous system, which can store its' own set of chemical memories without answering to the brain; is that memory? If you include that, the upper limit is extended further.

The human imagination has limits. Just like the edge of our universe. Just because you can't grasp the number doesn't mean it's not there.

Edit: Actually, here's a quick limit test. Imagine a billion suns, individually, filling the sky. Imagination fail.

  18. Beast Boy/Changeling.

Not only is he pretty cool, but he keeps having flings with a hot magic lady, all the while being green.
  19. I... may have just burned out a neuron trying to deal with her statements.
  20. You're kidding, right, GG? I mean, you must be playing devil's advocate. Emotions are NOTHING but bio-electric signals and hormone dumps used to respond to different stimuli.

There is no such thing as "just" an emotion free from it (it being the above statement). EVERY emotion has direct effect on the body as a whole; everything in your body is, technically, knowable. It's ignorance of the worst kind to think otherwise.

  23. My main, Doctor Scotts, is a rad/rad/power defender. He utilizes technology to enhance ambient mutant abilities or afflictions. For instance, he provided the biotechnical boost to my ill/rad, Hologram Girl. Before, she could only absorb light energy and glow a little; now, full fledged delusion of splendor.

I don't RP, but I like to have a good story in my head. Nominally, Doctor Scotts has nothing to do, ever, with magic. But, as I see it, he will become the forced vessel of the spirit of Hephaestus, which will pretty much just make him more genius and inventive.
