Quote:Dear Megatron,
Targeting computers are not that expensive. Buy some and get them installed in your goons. Do this soon, please, as you're currently making Imperial Stormtroopers look like marksmen.
Thanks. -
I think what my character Grahm would say to my other characters would sum it up best:
"Okay, so he made us. Everything bad that's happened to us (and that's a lot) is something he thought up or had a hand in. But the same can be said for anything good (and that's not as much) that's ever happened to us.
"The important thing to remember, though, is that we only exist because he finds our lives interesting. Interesting enough to spend his free time and money to support our existance.
"So, be angry if you want. Be happy, be sad, feel about this however you want. But, for the love of the powers, DO NOT BE BORING! I rather like existing." -
Quote:Agreed. That's the problem there, she looks too young for her chest.Nah - the kitten makes her look too young to be so well-rounded.
On most of mine, I lower it to 0. I've left it at 50% on a couple. Only one character ever had it boosted (and that was to near max) because the radioactive implants were the source of her powers. (Then I deleted her, and someone else grabbed the name of "Crimebuster". *cries*)
I think anything above 50% just looks... too improbable. However, it's fitting to the source concept for the game. -
If they want to do a "modern" one-shot story, that's fine.
But, if he's a modern take on the idea, any chance they could... you know... pretend he's smart enough to know that he's supposed to wear his underwear on the INSIDE of his outfit? -
-
I often get them "right" for the character as they are at start, but as I play and RP, the character changes. Costumes change to reflect this, and what worked before no longer fits.
-
Maybe they've made a deal with a comic company (most likely a small one), and they're going to start bringing in said company's world and characters?

Quote:Well, if you've ever been to a weekend-long gaming con of any kind, then I think you'll agree that a "Stinklines" aura is a possible choice.Feel free to describe what a "natural" aura or cape would look like
A second aura could be a special bright gleam that only rarely appears, centered on either an eye or the teeth.
As for the cape, how about a beach towel or bedsheet tied around the neck? -
GIVE! NOW!
Please?
a-hem. Sorry about that, but some of that stuff is beyond perfect for a few of my characters. I'll be buying this as soon as I can, unless something painfull is done with the price. -

Actually, I avoid getting drunk because I think I would be very likely to do something stupid if I got wasted.

Quote:I think you miss my real point. I'd do that horrible (yet interesting) thing because I wouldn't believe I have superpowers. You could maybe not do the whole destroying cities thing and do something nice instead?
If you wake up one day, and find you can do all the things Superman can do, what's the more likely reason? That you DO have superpowers, that you're dreaming you have superpowers, or that you've gone insane and only think you're flying?
I think a lot of people would have a hard time simply accepting the change. I know I would. Some may think they're dreaming, and do all sorts of crazy things. Others may deny their powers, either doing things by accident only, or totally blocking off access to their new abilities. Some may think they've been chosen by god. Some may even think they ARE god.
Some form of insanity, fleeting or not, would be a common way of coping with leaving your mortal limitations behind. -
Back on topic.
If I suddenly gained Superman levels of powers, I would become a supervillain. I'd start by destroying five cities. Four very large (trust me, you've heard of them), and one small one.
I'd then continue to do things around the world, using my powers to keep my identity hidden as I rework the world to start shifting towards what I think would be an improvement of the world's mindset.
And what about when I'm 3-4 months in, when I finally realize that this is NOT a dream and I'm the world's worst mass murderer? I think I'd spend the next week curled up in a corner, vomiting. I might try to find a way to kill myself (and freak out even more if I can't), but by then the real damage would have been done. -

Ascendant.
I'll also mention one character that's not around any more, BlackSpiralDancer. Being a tall, green, moss-covered werewolf does tend to make one stand out, and he played the disturbing villain well.
I don't know if many would consider him an icon for all of Virtue, but he was one of those characters that RPers just gravitated towards. Yes, there are others that can do that and still play, I mention him in particular because he's no longer in the game. -
Quote:Sounds like a normal day at work for me. That whole "ERROR FILE INVALID" thing sounds like something some of our temps would say.Is it just me or have automatons radically decreased in quality, lately? It seems like every other one is always missing some stupid file or clicking really loudly. That probably doesn't help their one and only purpose any, either. Imagine going into work one day, and your boss is like "Hey do you have that report I wanted" ('cause I guess bosses really like reading reports) and you go "Sure thing boss ERROR FILE INVALID" and then you kill him with your weird steam musket. Wouldn't that be awkward?

They might have our Halloween stuff with i19, and need to release it in order to get the event on the live servers.
-
Also, can we get a sort of feather detail for use with hats? You may need a couple versions of it in slightly different positions to match most of the hats, but it would be a nice touch.

Quote:Yes, yes, old dear Elder Gods, yes! Then can you see if the already-overworked player costume artists could at some point give us something similar to the Kheldian sash? I'm sure a lot of mystic, pirate, and Carnie-style characters would greatly appreciate something like that.
I can think of several of my characters that would look great with a sash like that. -
Quote:Most of them. The question now is what mentally unstable actor can you get to star in the lead role that will hopefuly commit purposeful or accidental suicide by the time the movie comes out to assure the same ticket sales for the sequel? (yes that was purposeful troll bait)

Quote:Any lasting emote will do it.Fascinating! Does it have to be Enriche, or can I placate them up with a cheezburger? Plain old /em eat has a persistent animation too, right?
Be Well!
Fireheart
My Demon/FF MM used to use a macro of "petsayall <em atease>" to make them stand there quietly. When I got the emotes from the GR booster, I changed it to "<em stancehero1>".
The only restriction is they have to be able to do the emote, there's some they won't/can't do. -
My character Tellah Branford is (supposed to be) well known.
... in Praetoria.
That doesn't help much, does it?
