P.E.R.C. Presents: Memory Lane
April 16th - 30th
What:
Every character has a defining moment in their career; maybe they stopped a powerful Archvillain in their tracks, saved their team from immenient peril, or perhaps they are that cackling villain who constantly stymies the heroes. Do you have such a story to tell? We want to read about it!
P.E.R.C. is looking for stories that show off what you consider your favorite character's crowning achievement. What made that character stand out to you? What daring plan did you pull off (or thwart)? Here's your chance to share the tale and potentially win a prize for your creativity!
When:
Entries will be accepted from April 16th until April 30th.
Prizes:
Ten stories from the top 20 we pick will be randomly selected and awarded a prize. In addition to that, 5 qualifying stories will be picked by the judges and awarded a "Judge's Favorite" prize.

Rules & Additional Info:
1) Only one entry per player.
We will only accept the first story submitted by a player. You may edit and update the story as you see fit until the deadline of April 30th.
2) Your story must be between 150 and 600 words long.
While Flash Fiction is an artform in and of itself, this is a short story contest. The maximum length helps keep entries manageable from a judging standpoint.
3) You may attach a screen shot of your character.
This is optional, but encouraged. As they say, "a picture is worth a thousand words." You may insert the image in your post, or you can e-mail it to us at PERC.COH@GMail.com.
4) Please submit your story in a reply to this post.
5) Prizes will be awarded on North American servers.
The group funding this event is limited to NA servers, and due to current global e-mail restrictions we are only able to award prizes to players also on NA accounts.

You can see an Inf total of all your characters combined on the Account Overview page at City Info Tracker. Log-in and to to Menu --> My Account --> My Account Overview (or here: http://cit.cohtitan.com/manage). It breaks it up into Influence/Infamy, but at least that's only two numbers to add instead of a dozen.

Yep, about 8:30 Eastern sounds right. Infinity tends to be busiest from early afternoon til about 10 PM Eastern from what I've seen. It might make it easier on the East Coasters if it was earlier, but I think it could work either way.
On the plus side, even if you do it earlier on Sundays, the event can still be broadcast at the large gatherings. Since the first scheduled day is the 8th, that gives lots of time to promote. It really comes down to what you, Rayonn, and company feel most comfortable with.

I think I read before that the teams are normally run at noon Eastern? If that's the case then that would certainly work. A large portion of the Infinity community heads to the ship raids (we routinely fill RWZ1 and then run another raid at/near full capacity in RWZ2 afterwards), which could conflict with the ability to draw in participants. If the time of the AEnvasion is before or after then there will be lots of players available with no scheduling conflicts.
Though, if the event is broadcast at the raid and then run immediately following it you'll have an audience of 50-70+ people who will know what's going on and where to go if they want to participate. That's why I made the suggestion; though I didn't know if there was a traditional time the event was run at the time.
Either way, I'd be happy to do whatever I can to support this on Infinity, and it sounds like my fellow P.E.R.C. reps there agree!

Gah, I've been trying to access the forums since Sunday night and had zero luck. >_<
On the plus side, I have been able to pop in game to advertize this over the weekend and at the last few CCs. I'll be making another sweep of adverts across the zones and channels tonight.

P.E.R.C. Presents: The Infinity Player Auction
April 16th @ 8 P.M. Eastern
What:
The Infinity Player Auction is a big get-together where players, services, and items will be auctioned off to the highest bidders! At the event, players in the crowd place bids. The person with the highest bid gets 4 hours of the auctionee's time (either all at once or in smaller chunks; whatever is mutually agreeable) or the item/service that is on sale. When buying a player, the auctionee does whatever the buyer wants... So long as it's mutually agreeable and within the EULA, of course.
We'll be handing out random door prizes during the event, and several very lucky winners will walk away with a portion of the night's proceeds! Before the auction starts we'll also have the special introduction of It's Trivial! - a game-show style trivia match hosted by Ska-Core.
Special note: Three Paragon Studios Employees will be for sale at the auction! There will also be DJs from Paragon Broadcasting live at the event!
When:
Saturday, April 16th.
It's Trivial! begins at: 7:30 P.M. Eastern / 6:30 P.M. Central / 5:30 P.M. Mountain / 4:30 P.M. Pacific
The auction begins at: 8 P.M. Eastern / 7 P.M. Central / 6 P.M. Mountain / 5 P.M. Pacific
Prize drawing number assignment ends 10 minutes after the auction has begun. To win door prizes and jackpot drawings you'll need a number!

Who May Participate:
Any character, any level, any alignment. The only requirement is that you have the influence to pay for your purchase that night!
Prizes:
Door Prizes: These include crafted IOs, recipes, rare salvage and influence.
It's Trivial!: Influence awarded will vary based on performance during the game.
Jackpot Drawing: 50% of the earnings from player sales will go towards a Jackpot. The Jackpot pool will be starting at 1 billion influence, and going up from there! Five randomly selected participants who are present at the time of the drawing will win the following...
1st prize: 40% of the Jackpot
2nd prize: 25% of the Jackpot
3rd prize: 15% of the Jackpot
4th prize: 10% of the Jackpot
5th prize: 5% of the Jackpot

Rules & Additional Info
1) You must be present and have a number to win door or jackpot prizes.
P.E.R.C. Reps will be in Pocket D handing out numbers to anyone who is interested. You can pick up a number any time between 7 P.M. and 8:15 P.M. Eastern on the night of the auction. Numbers will be sent via a private tell. We will be using Random.org to select winners.
2) The minimum bid will begin at 5 million inf. and advance in 5 million inf. increments.
The bidding for all players, items, and services will begin at 5 mil. From there it will go 10 mil, 15 mil, 20 mil, etc. until the final bid is placed.
3) Please be ready to pay the P.E.R.C. banker for your purchase that evening.
You're welcome to switch characters to gather funds after you've made a purchase, but the sale is not final until payment is made. If you are unable to pay, the auctionee / service / item will go back up for sale. One way to ensure that you have enough influence easily available is to e-mail it to yourself prior to the event.
4) Proceeds from the event (that don't go to a player or into the jackpot) goes to P.E.R.C.
A portion of the winning bid on a player, item or service goes to the P.E.R.C. Infinity bank, where it will be used to fund future events. The amounts are as follows: 25% from player sales, 75% from service and item sales, and 100% from Red Name sales.
5) An auctionee can still be sold even if not present that night.
Players who have signed up as auctionees may still be auctioned off even if they're unable to be present for the event. Please get in touch with @ R-Tech if you believe you will be absent but still want to be auctioned. We will assume that any player who did not inform us of an absence ahead of time still wants to be sold. Players who were absent at the time of purchase will have their cut e-mailed to them.
6) We will be accepting new auctionees, services, and items until April 15th.
If you're interested in auctioning yourself, services, or items , please view this thread. The deadline to sign up is April 15th. We will not be accepting auctionees on the day of the event. You do not need to sign up to bid or win prizes!

Actually I hadn't thought about specific badge/accolade to assist with. The only ones I know of that I cannot specifically assist with is safeguards. I have many villain side characters of various levels to help with whatever is needed. I also have a few low level heroes and two that can go to either side.
