for pink, i was dragged alonjg one night to "oogle the higher up heroes than me" and got sucked in fairly instantly (having met one or two of them in an RP sense previous). It's also a fairly easy going place, sunny, quiet, nice scenary. Like a kinda Zen garden for heroes.

That's my excuse/reason and i'm sticking to it!

nearly all my characters are stuck. i grudge making anyone new because i simply can't devote the time i would like to more than 3 chracters. The trouble is that everyone seems to have many alts (for various reasons) and being there when the alts that you kinow are there is hard. Again, it tends to be i'll come on, sit and pink at the statue for about 4 hours.. and then nothing happens. You're right Wordy, i feel less inclined to come along in case i waste 4 hours sitting around listening to all the characters I don't know chatting. It doesn't help when you don't play assertive or bold characters, or is people completely miss/blank/ingnore copletely any small attempts for timid characters to try say hello.

I do hope the lull ends, I really miss seeing alot of people I know and recognise (well.. that pink knows at least). Pink's not on enough or socail enough to be getting invites to base and pocket D gatherings...

got to the comic expo site, click "exhibitors" scroll to "asylum books and game", click weblink.. find the rogues gallery. Pic 2 (at time of posting) is "other" Mike (the first mike being owner of asylum books and games and the one true mike) holding a glass of water to the roof with a pool cue. I believe that story went something like Mike & co put glass of water on cue on roof and was holding the cue, asked other miek to hold cue.. which he did and then they walked off...

fantastic, by 11 i'll have found several interesting public houses and had my money refused in at least.... 3 of them.

I heard a low buzzing sound, made more menacing as I discovered my hands tied together. I attempted to hurt them, tried to pull the electricity from their bodies but nothing happened. I got a rough kick to the head. I felt the cold floor on my face only vaguely feeling the clippers run over my head as someone else held my fingers one after the other…

… My cheek felt sticky and a part of me wanted to move out of the small puddle forming around my nose but I couldn’t summon the strength or the will to do anything… Slowly the darkness slipped over me…

i been making it up as i went, i'm not a big reader of the plaques and in anycase the only relavent bacstory i have based on stuff in the coh game (and not real history) is to do with the very inner workings of the column and the council (and the center ...shhh..) which suffice to say I feel i can make up quite happily.

As someone up the thread a bit said - comics are bad at continuity themselves (arrrgggg marvel universes.. so... many... arrrgh) so I wouldn't worry too much about it

Not meaning to seem rude Harvik. But have you been to GG? If so, what character were you? WHo'd youtalk to when you were there?

If you haven't been. take a few minutes to actually go there at 9pm any night of the week to Galaxy girl (behind the freedom corps building) in galaxy city on UNION server.

what kind of examples do you have of poor Rping and what classes an rp as "poor" or "high quality"?

also just a personal aside - would you be so kind as to mark your edits as such? just so we can keep up?
