A fried of mine is having the same issue. I'm on the phone with him now and trying to help via remote assistance. We tried:
Deleting checksum and rebooting, verifying, and relaunching.
Run as Administrator
Safe Mode
Updating to latest video drivers.
Still gets stuck on "Loading"
He's on an Alienware MX15, Win 7 Home Premium 64bit, ATI Mobility Radeon 5850, 4gb RAM, Intel i7 Q-720.
Trying some other stuff but running out of ideas. -

). You get to free transfer tokens along with GR (in addition to the free transfer period during GR), but no extra character slots per server. -

Server transfers appear to be a bit screwed up.
Did mine as soon as the server came up, can't make a praetorian till it goes through as 36 slots in use. We were promised unlimited transfers, we have 6 tokens, and when they fail, you lose the token.
Half an hour now and it hasn't gone through, was more or less instant during the transfers over Christmas.
Also globals seem to be dying all the time. -
And I was going to use Chocolate Rain. But now I feel it's already been trumped. I'll have to think fast...
OK, since my classic pick for music now just feels cheap, I'll go with a classic pick for stupidly cute animals (aka the KITTEH! category).

I never played Chaos past one or two matches because I did get frustrated at the lack of starting skills. I do pretty well with various types of teams but the various Elf and Undead teams seem to be my strong suit.

I like Olivia's complete lack of shame and willingness to do or say almost anything to get a laugh. Alison is pretty great, too, and if Olivia had to go, I'm happy with Alison as a replacement. Although I would also be happy to have them steal Morgan Webb away from X-Play since she is a lot of fun when she's on the air live.

Regarding the City Vault - the last thing I heard was that there was a major tech hurdle in that the system as designed impacted performance dramatically and a workable solution had not been found. What is the current status of this project (e.g. actively being worked on, on a whiteboard somewhere, in the circular file)?
