I think we've already stabilized on these items. Before I18 the big three were going for 250-300 million.

Those are very common in popular recipies. ToTing not generating any salvage makes those scarce.

Also can“t speak for cc but i bought and deleted them because i was bored.
The other day i boght and deleted 700 computer viruses and saw the next day that it hadnt really recovered.
So i bought 4500 and deleted all but 5. couple of hours later there were only 25 on the market.
Will be interesting to see how fast comp virus and ceramic plates build up again after the halloween event is over.
    I am amused.

Any idea how much you spent on that? I imagine the first thousand or so must have gone cheap but I'd be interested to know how high you had to go to crack the upper crust.

Edit: Oh I missed the "16 mil" part of your post. Duh. Any idea what the total cost was though?

Don't get me wrong, those two factors are at play, surely. But that alone didn't drain the supply of specific common salvage to drive prices into the multi-millions for a short time. Contrary to some claims, the wake isn't always a 30 second window that sees prices dropping to the levels they were at - or even lower (exaggeration, but still).

Dunno about the AlSil's but it looks like the CAP's was just done for lulz.

    Join us!

I've been on LJ only a few months longer than I've been playing City of Heroes. As soon as I got the game, I joined the LiveJournal Community. I was even the moderator for the community for... I don't know a year or two? - before I passed the torch to BigAngry, CrashTofu, and Syrusb (@Liz).

As much as I love these Forums, that LJ community is what has kept me playing this game for 5+ years. It's a fantastically friendly, fun, and helpful community, and you can always find a good team with these folks. I highly recommend it to any current LJ users who don't know of it, or anyone who may be interested in LJ but hasn't yet started a journal. I know of at least a handful of people that joined LJ over the years just for this community.

    Check us out!

As I said, I do most of my large pieces in Word. In word I use Arial because I find its readability easier on my eyes than, say, Times New Roman.
I'm still getting used to the new boards (yes, 6 1/2 years and only six hundred twenty some odd posts). The old ones would strip all my formatting when I copied things. The new ones, not so much. Though I did try to make the size as close to the others as possible. I only just now saw that "Remove Text Formatting" button there, and have since corrected the two posts so as to be "one of us."
Whist I have mine own pet peeves, I do try not to be others'.
Yeah it was - I appreciate the change and your explanation makes sense. No offense meant.

I also want to point out that I have no problem with using different fonts, colors, etc. within a post when there is a purpose for it. For example, guides that use different colors or fonts for headers; bolding or color for emphasis; etc. As long as it is used consistently and not excessively, and where it makes sense, then that's great.
  11. Let's also add "huge font" to the list in my previous post. Or more accurately, using a different font - be it size, color, typeface, or some combination of these - than everyone else.
  12. I am generally able to overlook typos, misspellings, and minor grammatical issues when reading forums like these. As mentioned, it's not really all that important and a lot of folks are in a hurry to finish their post before the boss walks by.

There are some things that drive me completely bonkers and make me just skip right over your post. Here are a few examples:

    - Wall of text. Needs no elaboration. The Enter key, people. Use it!
    - Stupid abbreviations that save you only one or two keystrokes like "u" for "you" and "r" for "are." and of course, "ur."
    - Capitalization of abbreviations that are not acronyms, such as INF and DEVS. (OK, so maybe this one won't make me immediately stop reading like those first two but it's irritating to me on some base level. Nails on a chalkboard.)
    - Leetspeak.

Ok, cool. I'll see if I can do some rolls this weekend and post up the results.

I see that happening. I know that my usual Sunday group will probably be spending a lot of time playing 50's.

I think more purples will be in demand, but I also think more purples will be generated as people play those 50's at 50, since we'll now have more reason to.
  18. Huh, didn't know about that. Sweet! Thanks for the tip.

Uberguy gave great reasons why the value of low level LotG's are higher than high levels ones to him. They aren't equivalent like, for example, the "chance to X" ones are numbers-wise, however.
Yeah I know what you meant, now, I just took it the wrong way (and ran with it) the first time I read it.

OK I only skimmed the thing but I'm pretty sure I saw Ellen Ripley in there.

Edit: And after looking again, I also see Sarah Conner.

If those two don't qualify as Strong Female Character, I don't know who does.

Pfft, all they need is a dude in a green shirt, purple pants, and a pair of these.
