  1. Dunno what else is new but I have commas in my 'real numbers' Inf field. So that's nice.
  2. Forgot to burn my billion last week so I just dumped a couple billion, but looks like we're back to #25 now.

I could have sworn the servers are in Mountain View. The job I linked to is for Mountain View.

As much as the idea of working for CoH appeals to me on a theoretical level, I don't think I want turn my happytime into worktime.
Servers are in Austin. Studio is in Mt. View.

    I agree with the Munki.

How's it coming on the City Vault, by the way?

    I kid, I kid

    Oopsie.
It was a total coincidence. I just burned an even 2 bil and that's where it put us. Just thought it was amusing.
  9. I dropped a couple billion on the fire last night and we made it to number 42. Don't panic!
  10. It's stuff like this that makes me wish the market interface had an option to bid for an item in a level range, instead of a specific level.

Either that or just toss out all the IO's at levels that are not divisible by 5, like commons. There's just too much clutter.

This is true. I'm going to see the movie, of course... I've just got my doubts. I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

And as I've said before, I don't mind letting Reynolds bring some humor to the role, as Hal Jordan tends to have all the personality of a brick.
There was another trailer posted here a while ago but I don't think it was this same one.

Edit: and I don't mind humor either. Just that what I have seen of the humor in the trailers isn't all the humorous to me.

Yes I would, and yes I agree the oath is probably going to sound silly too. Which is what I'm worried about. Too much silliness.

Looking much better than the first trailers but I'm still wary of the silliness factor... that "Pledge of Allegiance" scene makes me cringe every time. Even more than the "I know, right?" scene from earlier trailers.

edit - (Sorry for the thread jack)

It was cool to see Bron... err Tom Hardy on set.
Joker lied about who was where.

It's now in the hands of Zwill and the OCR department for translating before we post it (and it's not small), unfortunately it won't get up today.

Suffice it to say there are changes coming to give you guys a better reward experience in the next major patch.
Awesome Posi, thanks. And the fact that you gave us an update tonight just to let us know is extra appreciated. /e thumbsup

Looking forward to hearing what's planned.

  19. Just to clarify, because you didn't mention this, but there are several 45-50 contacts available for villains, but you might need to unlock some with the newspaper/mayhem cycle. This is in addition to the unlockable contacts mentioned above. - Edit: bzzt I'm wrong you did mention this. Sorry, reading failure.

But aside from that, I agree with Adeon - I'm not sure what you were expecting but eventually you're going to run out of content you have not done before. I understand not wanting to run tips, newspapers, Borea, etc over and over - but there are a lot of great 45-50 (and even 35-50 with RWZ) arcs that are a lot of fun to play again. So my recommendations match those above:

    - Double check for contacts you may have missed or have not unlocked.
    - Repeat fun arcs in Ouroborous.
    - Check out what the AE has to offer.
  20. I don't mind giving the friends I regularly play with big lumps of cash to help with this kind of thing (or with their builds in general), but I don't offer it to just everybody who plays the game. There's too many of them.

I know people were complaining last Sunday evening that all of the BAF/Lambda recruiting in RWZ is making it hard for the ship raids to get enough warm bodies. Remember, the zones are capped at 50. Twenty-four on a BAF and 16 on a Lambda leaves only 10 for a ship raid.

And since IB can't be everywhere at once, 10 peeps = a not very successful ship raid.

Maybe BAF/Lambda recruiting can move to Pocket D?
I think Pocket D is the better choice for Trial forming, but I think the server has spoken and decided on RWZ and that's that.

Sundays it might just be best to go to RWZ 2, which will inevitably pop up.

Of course, I'm more than willing to start going to Pocket D if enough folks want to make a point to try to push the server to that instead.

There's one other qualification - having Going Rogue.

Edit to add: Also I don't think I was on this particular Trial but I've been on them with you before (me = Cherry Bombshell) and would team again. A++.

Yes that is how it works currently. We just need to be able to actually start it without having to get fillers to start up and then drop.

(Also worth mention: at least one of the fillers must remain on the team. They can log, but not quit team. If you have only one person on the TF team, the TF ends)

I feel like that first half of Fellowship is the rite of passage you must go through before you are allowed to enjoy the book(s). Tolkien's boot camp, or something. After that it gets much, MUCH better and far more interesting. The pace picks up, the action picks up, the more interesting characters enter the story... the writing and the story just gets better in every way.
