It definitely is a sellers market on those right now, heh. Sell 'em while they're hot though, because they seem to be dropping all over the place. Today alone I had at least a dozen Temp Power recipes drop for me (red and blue combined), most of which were the new ones. The Romans seem to love dropping those things

Quote:You're not going to lose your items. They are simply inaccessible until such time as they figure out why Wentworth's and the Black Market decided that stacks of items were tasty and went all Cookie Monster on people's prized possessions.
Hopefully that's true that we won't lose anything. I'd hate to have what my villain marketeer still had listed on the BM prior to its being taken offline disappear, heh. And I sincerely hope that it doesn't take long to get this sorted out. My two latest Kins are about to hit 47 and I'd like to be able to slot them this weekend rather than have to wait until next week -
Quote:For most things at least. I noticed quite a few with blank histories this afternoon, at least redside (haven't been on blueside yet today). They're still far outweighed by the items that still do have bid histories though, so all in all, no biggie.
Looks like they managed to keep price histories in place. -
Quote:I ran into the same thing on Test when I was trying to restock the supply of costume salvage on redside. Claimed the Inf earned from the previous stacks sold, dumped two more stacks of each piece of salvage onto the market but couldn't list them for sale, nor could I purchase/claim anything else. Reloading the market didn't help (as it used to when it got "too busy"), but never did hear the suggestion to reboot the game client. I bugged it that afternoon, but didn't have a chance to get back onto Test to see if it had been fixed prior to the Issue going live today.
When you get too many items at once, all the buttons to get any more get grayed out (except Get All Inf, for some reason). They do not reset back to normal afterwards.
Hopefully this is something near the top of the bug list to be fixed ASAP, because I don't want to have to reboot my client constantly when posting or receiving multiple items at once, stacked or not. -
Quote:I've had one of those since last summer on one of my Scrappers. I can't even recall what mission it is or where I got it. I just keep it for a giggle, heh.
Another Bug: my mission title now says " Defeat BOSS_NAME and Guards Peregrine Isla"
As for the slow fields, I've not noticed the "dirty" look on them myself. I've seen a few people seeming very stoked in the BBI channel as well as the Guardian global channels, but here is the first place I've run into mention of the issue. I guess the people I've seen today either can't run UM at full to notice it, or its minor enough to them to be not worth mentioning. I'll have to hop into my bases to check the pools again, see if I notice something... -
Thanks everyone! Three decades down, and hopefully plenty more to go, hehe.
*noms bacon pineapple cookie before Ulli finds it* -
Quote:I couldn't help but laugh at the above. Anyone who thinks that the BM is "well supplied" needs to look up what "well supplied" means. I guess that TCS's connection to the market is a little laggy and he's looking at it as it was pre-i14
I chose a RANDOM IO. BM is well supplied, and will be even better come i17! -
Its okay Kay, hehe. We'll be nice, honest!
And 10 points for must amusing post I've seen in a while -
Quote:I can see your point. At least i17 will let us purge the inactive users to free up room at last. It was either that or find a way to increase the maximum user number, which I believe someone had asked about before. The channel has been pretty much full for ages nowthe level 50 channel should drop their private channel thing. to have to have a level 50 after 6 years of being out, unless your new, everyone has a 50. kinda dumb at this point.

I haven't been on vent in a few days, so I'm not sure what Temptress may have said about it. If there's enough people in the Globals clamoring for at least one run to go, I have no objections to leading it, as I often do. So unless Temptress posts in the sticky thread about the Raids, I'll go with the "if there is enough people, we'll do it" stance, heh.
EDIT for clarification: I don't know about the Wednesday Hami Raids, as that is TA's purview. I just run or help to run the DT Rikti Raids. -
So my apologies to all for not being present this week. The parental units decided to pay me an impromptu visit (although a little early as my b-day isn't until Tuesday, heh) and I seem to have used up the last of the batteries I had around for my wireless keyboard so I can't really do much until I get some replacements. Probably a good idea for me to invest in rechargeable batteries once and for all so I can avoid that issue in the future. As is, I'm posting using my shoddy laptop that can barely run CoH without overheating XD
With today being payday and all, I should be up and running again by this evening or tomorrow afternoon at the latest. So once again, my apologies to all and look out in the Globals for tomorrows run! -
Quote:Ouch! Knew I'd strike a nerve sooner rather than later. Not trying to play Forum Police. Just looking for a spot (somewhere) for some serious base related discussion that doesn't revolve (involve/devolve) around or into decorating stuff. Any chance of that happening?... I've been checking here just about every day and it hasn't happened for months.
But sure....everyone post what you want and I'll just pipe down. Queue the pretty pictures please.
You do know that not every post/thread is about decorative base items and ideas right? There are and have been any number of threads pertaining to base functionality, ways to improve the editor and other non-decorative topics. I will admit they are outnumbered by the threads where base editors display the products of their hours upon hours of work. But is there something wrong with taking pride in what you've designed and wanting to share it with the community at large? And I will have to agree with Ravenous in that I have yet to run into any "elitist" base builders either in-game or here on the forums. The can't be said of some of the PvP crowd, lol.
So its fine that you wanted to bring the subject up, and I will concede to some of your points, but you've gone about doing so in the wrong way. You could have done the same with a little less...animosity (best word I could think up on the fly here).
Oh, and here's a pretty picture just to get you started

I'll have to look into that Ninja. I'd tossed around a few ideas to get a "watery" effect placed vertically behind my stargate but didn't think to try banners.
And I'm guessing the link American Angel provided is blocked to anyone outside the States since I get a "403 Forbidden" message when I try to follow the link. I'm guessing from the title of the jpeg though, that Angel is looking to do the same thing I am, heh.
And as a side note, what did you use to create your stargate Angel? I did mine the somewhat lazy way and just used floor safes. If there's something better, I'd be interested to know and maybe borrow your idea (if I may) -

Due to the number of people wanting to do an ITF today in-game, I'll be running a second one this evening after I've had a bite to eat. Our first one went off without a hitch. The team was great, although a little laggy at times due to all the AoE's, hehe. Awesome run though, and lots of fun!
I'll start the second run in about an hour to give TA time to get at least a run of their Rikti Raid under their belts. I'll call out in the Globals around 7pm PST/10pm EST. -
Quote:Not surprising there. I can't say I've ever had the "one of everything" drop, but I've regularly gotten multiple drops from a single mob. I don't know if what's on Test right now will continue on live, but a couple of times over there I've gotten both a generic IO recipe and a Temp Power recipe from a single mob, once with an Inspiration tossed in as well.
It's been confirmed that you can defeat one enemy and get "one of everything"- I think someone got one base salvage, one invention salvage, one inspiration, one recipe and one store enhancement from one defeat, and took a screenie. -
Munching on all those cookies is probably why he needed to milk all the Minotaurs on the ITF yesterday, hehe. Can't have cookies without milk!

Thanks Toonies! If you think you know that you can and want to run one at some point, just drop me a line here or in game and I'll make sure to save a spot for ya.
And cool JG. I'll make sure there's a spot for you. If you can't make it, just let me know. -
Quote:You're only "screwed" out of drops that your friend could have gotten if his inventory is full. If he's full, anything that is rolled off the charts for his toon isn't awarded and disappears.
So that's where my question kicks in. If his salvage and recipe inventories are full, am I potentially screwed out of salvage and patterns?
You don't need a Dev post or Wiki link to demonstrate what we already know. What stever posted is pretty much how it works. As for having your friend clear out his inventory when its full, by all means have him delete crap if you're in the middle of a run or have him run to the nearest NPC store to sell said crap. -
Quote:I've been clamoring for such changes to the Vault for a couple of years now, heh. I don't see any reason why we couldn't use it as an account wide (limited) storage device, much like the chests used in Guild Wars.I agree this is a good idea, without the interest. They could just expand the functionality of the vault we already have. Make it hold Items, Inf, Enhancements.
Then give it acount wide accessability.
Now that we can email inf/items to ourselves, there isn't really any argument against this anymore. -
Yeah, that ambush of bosses was a little out of the blue. Twas through no fault of yours Call Me though, heh. Just bad luck I think that they dropped in behind us and ganked Alushya before we knew what was going on. Didn't help my heal chose that point to miss or I might've been able to keep Alushya alive XD

Thanks everyone that came out tonight! First run had the most Magus I've ever seen in the Raid, but we managed to take and hold the bowl anyways. Second run went awesome until the last couple minutes, when a small army of Magus ported directly into the bowl. We took them down though and held on until the shields went up. So, all in all a little rough, but great fun nonetheless!
Hope to see another zone full for Tuesday nights run!
