Quote:Awesome, so who do you send a tell to add things? Like Cai's holiday event? In regards to Justice Events the JU mods have been trying to capture them all here for the last few weeks:

Quote:<Austin Powers>We won't bite...hard.</Austin Powers>I've been wanting to move to a more populated server for a while now, but not start all over again with all lowbies. I'm nervous, though, because I only know a couple of people on Justice.
Best thing to do is to join JU or JFA2010 and introduce yourself. The global community is pretty cool.
If you're still nervous about things, or you feel like saying hi you can pm me @pumbumbler in game too. -

Quote:Might be Virtue as well/instead...prolly not for PVP though.I can pretty much guarantee the Justice PVP population is going to take a big hit. I've moved a couple of toons to Freedom and then back again in the past. Mainly because I had left my resource toons (my farmers and PLers) on Justice so it was always a pain to level new toons on Freedom. Now that I can move all of my characters free of charge I'll most likely move everything to Freedom (leaving some PVE toons on Justice.)
The free server transfers are going to be great for increasing Freedom's PVP population (notice I said population not necessarily the PVP quality itself) but it's going to hurt all the other servers imo. -
Quote:It only changes if you have the will to change it.Before the pvp changes I enjoyed zone pvp with a certain friend from Utgard. Since the changes the zones seem dead. I've heard that many have moved on to Freedom, and I fail to see how free transfers is going to change this trend around.

Um...I really don't know if there was ever a mascot for Justice. All I can offer you is @choake... (please take him).
We haz (had?) a mayor and an empress, but idk about a mascot. -

Now that server transfers are free for the time being, we should make a semi consolidated thread describing what goes on this server that makes it unique and crazy.
Kind of a tourist's guide to Justice...with links to common events like raiding and channels...the matinees etc. Anyone care to compile a list? I won't be able to get around to doing something like this for another couple of hours.
I believe Justice is currently 3rd most busy server of the North American servers, while Freedom and Virtue are duking it out for 1st and 2nd place. This would place us in the comfortable middle, so if anyone is going to make a second home or try out a new server, Justice should be a great place for anyone to start looking. -
Quote:Hullo and welcome!... because it's simply not possible ... I've also taken the opportunity presented by free server transfers to pack up my things and relocate to your lovely server from my native Pinnacle. I look forward to teaming with you folks, and to getting to know the folks behind the characters (Assuming I can find your server's global channels >_<)

Well now that free server transfers have been announced, what will Justice PvP look like now? Better, worse, no change?

Moved some higher level toons that I don't play much to Freedom and Virtue to make room on Justice.
And to the OP, welcome home! -

Seems like as soon as PvP is peripherally mentioned the whole discussion gets sucked down a whirlpool of teenage angst and melodrama. Of course, none of those posts are in the PvP subforum proper.
Is this what everyone else feels like about PvP on Justice? Seems like all the people who wanted to enjoy PvP here went to the server starting with 'F'. -
Quote:Wow, looks like a bunch of bad politics going on there. On Justice there isn't a shortage of qualified raid leadership so a single DC by a leader or the organizer doesn't cripple the raid, and getting people to leave H1 for H2 isn't very cool. I've known more than a couple of people who've volunteered to leave raids to make room for raid leaders who've DC'd just as a matter of principle.I got yet another reminder why the new hami raid is, to be blunt, crap, and why I hadn't done it in years and I won't be doing it again unless some changes happen.
Raid forms on the Hive 1. People wait around half an hour while teams form. We fight the giant monsters, we spawn hami... and the leader disconnects.
The raid leader then sees that 10-20 people are trying to get into the Hive 1, calls it a lost cause, and calls his buddies to start the raid on Hive 2. By the time Hive 1 starts moving to Hive 2, it's already full. A lot of people who waited half an hour and worked to get the raid started in the first instance get screwed.
The leader then claims "anyone could have taken over to lead Hive 1, I did nothing wrong"; except by having people follow them to Hive 2, there's not enough people in Hive 1. It's dead dead dead.
And after Hive 2 raid finishes, said raid leader heads back into Hive 1 to raid the spawned Hami quickly, leaving the reward box up to get the reward the next day. Double "screw you" to everybody who started the raid in Hive 1.
I'm still very angry at the raid leader for deciding right away to start Hive 2 instead of letting Hive 1 have a chance to lead without them; by starting Hive 2 right away, Hive 1 was immediately short on people, since everybody "followed the leader".
Until some mechanic is in place to treat Hami like a big instance where people who get in STAY in, I'm giving up on it again for another seveal years. -
So...you're saying Justice should just take it over?

Quote:Neat! Never knew it was there. Is that a global calendar or can it be customized for Justice events? There's a calendar right here on the forums, too. It's in the Events section and I think you can set it up to send you reminder/alerts. I don't remember if it sends an alert through the forums or via email or both.

I was actually thinking about having someone make a google calendar or something to that effect so everyone has a good idea of upcoming Justice events in one easy go, or they can subscribe to it.

The OP was asking for a single costume contest. And if his intention is to match or beat it like he says, it's nice to know that a single person can get up to that level of income, as opposed to multiple groups combining. Nothing to detract from what RO has done, but the OP was just asking.
