Quote:The blunt truth of it is that there are a critical few Justice players who will be able to carry a raid even if they are not leading.Any tips or strategies would be great before I just jump in next Hami raid I get a chance with.
Those few players are the hidden talent that usually carries a Justice Hami to the finish even when the other players or the overall leader isn't that well versed in strategies and/or leadership.
If/when those players do winding leading a raid, usually those are the ones that get completed the fastest/smoothest/most fun etc.
Those people are the blessing and the bane of Justice. They make things easy so others can be lazy/inept. I wish they'd all take a vacation from the game for a week so everyone else would realize how much those people actually contribute to Justice instead of just being taken for granted.
That being said, if you want to lead a raid as many others have done, your best bet is to get those hidden helpers of Justice to give you a hand. You probably know who most of them are. Some of them even can be lured out with bad cheese and/or catgurls. -

The angst-ridden, drama-filled posts are always the ones that get the most comments.
Nice posts finish last. -
Quote:Justice is spoiled with a cornucopia of good players and leaders. Starve'm a bit and they should stand upright and pay attention to the task at hand.Ok.. this won't get me any points but when did that ever bother me?
You don't need a plethora of nukes for this strat. Y'all already have the agro split required down perfectly. Just doo it . You have the people showing up and willing. Justice players are the best over all the servers. You can do it. Just take a minute to think so the organization suits you.
Before people bash me for this post please recall how many times I asked to do it this way last year.. take a minute to think.....refrain.
Yea... Im back and all that til Cata. -

So what's the maximum bid amount?
Would four hours of hanging out with me in Virchoo Pocket D be considered cruel and unusual punishment? -

Um...not quite. Individualism tends towards anarchy. You could probably closest ascribe individualism to Freedom, which is a different server.
Maybe the silent majority is silent because it is the sound of one hand clapping.
In all seriousness, running a channel isn't as easy as throwing a bunch of people in a room. Otherwise everyone would be doing it. Which they aren't, as you yourself have pointed out.
People *want* a degree of moderation and control, which is partly why JFA and JU are popular. The problem you have is that the moderation in those channels may be too tight for you, which is also understandable. Sorry, but I doubt any mod of those channels is going to change the way they operate because you are emotional about it here. Being rational and calm, and discussing things outside of any raw feeling incidents would be a better way of approaching things if you *truly* wanted to effect change.
You are seeing few people agree with you here because most people here are moderators of (other) channels, know how much cat herding really goes on, and agree with Chrome, and thus disagree with you.
Sorry, but this is like trying to beard the lion in his den. -

Quote:This is why there should only be one mod who rules with an iron fist, silences everyone and eats all the Boston Creams first before leaving everyone else with the sprinkly donuts. The thing is, there was very little player harassment involved, and nobody argued over people being silenced for it.(There was a little inter-player drama earlier in the chat, and a person got silenced, but it didn't really create an issue)
What people got pissed off about was when people got silenced for the general off-topic justice chat.
::edit:: I was not aware JFA had more lax rules. In that case, we don't really need a third channel, we just need to use JFA more for these conversations. -

Being late in your time zone doesn't mean that kids won't be on from other time zones. Family channels should remain family channels since players can come from anywhere in the world.
