    Also when/if you want to spend a bit more you can slot your blasts differently, like 5 slot apocs in Flares with the 6th slot being a glad jav proc. And replacing the HO's in fire blast and blaze with a Glad Jav acc/dam and a glad jav proc in each power or 6 slotting glad javs in blaze and fire blast and you can also replace the devastation proc with a the dam/rech or dam/end(if you are having end issues).

    I would have kept Veng, because you should team up when you PvP so that you can coordinate damage on a target, get heals/buffs etc. and when one of your team dies, then you can use Veng.
  7. #1 you need to take Frozen Armor
    #2 Snow Strorm is really not worth it.
    #3 you are waaaay over the hp cap which is 1606
    #4 again get rid of energy punch, save the power choice and go with conserve power, especially if you think you are going to be hurting on end.
    #5 get rid of total focus, you are a blaster not a melee'r, all TF is, is a call to any stalker around to AS you.
    #6 get your +hp accolades, these builds are based on having them all.
    Below are 2 builds, one that is fire/em/cold/leadership/Fighting and the other is the one I would rather play which is fire/em/conceal/force/leadership.
    I did not take hoarfrost, I would just take Rebirth if you want a "heal".
    Both are "cheap builds" (no PvP IO's and only some LOTG procs, Numina proc, miracle proc and the 5 fortunata hypnosis purples in the /cold build.)

One other thing is that with the changes in I13, ice blast's damage got the nerf bat sooooo you are not really going to be putting out the damage to, as you said in an earlier post, "kill some players". I would roll a psi,fire or sonic blaster and then go and try it out. I have a bad feeling that with an ice/mental blaster you are going to get really depressed once you spend the money on it and it doesn't perform.

    And as supermax said you need to slot for +hp, kb protection over 41 with acrobatics running, like in the build Hinden posted (but also like Hinden said, I would never spend that much on an ice/mental blaster).

    Well, I would not slot assault with a recharge red, make that an end reduct. IO, you are over the limit of 5 lotg proc's so I took the one you had in Veng. and replaced it with another karma kb io, the regen tissue proc is pretty useless in PvP so I scrapped that one and took that slot and put it in the snipe and slotted an executioner's contract dam/int. SJ should be slotted exactly like SS so I changed that also. Tell me you have all of your +hp accolades because if not you are pretty low on hp with this build and I also doubt that you would get any good advice by posting this in this forum, you should have posted and also searched in the PvP builds forums(where this question has been asked and answered a billion times). But nonetheless here:

I understand that you are going for high def. but what also aids you in survival is resistance for the attacks that get through and more hp, so staying with the cheap build idea I changed a very few things. I dropped shocking bolt and picked up charged armor(you should pickup the shield for the +res.) and then changed the slotting on like 2 powers. I get that drayggnn says that stamina's "optimal" slotting is the way you have it, but removing the plain jane end io and putting in one more performance shifter gets you +hp and only drops your recovery by .07per second, now if you can see the difference of 7 hundredths and don't want the extra hp then leave the end io in there. I also agree that when you get some more inf you should switch to lotg's in steamy mist and manuevers, that will give you another +15% recharge and more +hp(they are slotted that way in the alternate slotting in the build I am posting). I would also spend the time getting all the +hp accolades. If you complete all of them you will be at 1331 hp, which makes you very survivable. But here ya go.

  15. Hate to tell ya, but if you are a zone type PvP'er then you are on the most populated zone server and the one I have seen with the most arena duels happening, there are some things going on on some other servers for leagues but they have just started.
  16. ok, vinnie/Refractor, loved those vids btw. How about I just say no insp, no travel powers, no accoldade usage, just stand there and brawl it out duels are dumb and boring and almost require someone to just jump in and kill both of the ones doing it.......
  17. Warning you are entering a PvP zone and can be attacked by other players and the big countdown is etiquette enough. It is zone PvP, if they are an enemy, they are fair game. If you want to TRU WARRIR and stand toe-to-toe and trade blows, not use travel powers, not use escape powers, not use accolades, etc. then do it in the arena where you can turn off some of those and there can never be the excuse that your teammates are buffing you, "x" person interrupted me, or any other stupid excuses that people can come up with.

    And also zone PvP is bad, gotta thank some people for TS and HD...................

  21. Yeah or you will be getting knocked down all the time and dying while you are down. At least 41 pts is required to protect you from all but fully slotted force bolt and power push.
