We leave South Africa in a few days and then start the journey home, still have a month or so....

here is a short write up of our arrival:

We are the First US Submarine to ever pull into South Africa so it was an event when we arrived.

I also miss playing, I haven't been able to log into the game in about 5 months...stupid deployments. Getting ever so closer to being back though.

Sorry to hear about your tough times. Hopefully you will have some good luck come your way sooner rather than later.

man, move it to the right a few weeks and I may be back home from this deployment by then.... Of course I will be 6 months out of practice, and probably not have the newest greatest toon to use but I bet I have somethin that would add to the team stage.

I had some fun times in a couple base raids. Being away from the game for the last couple months like I have, has made me look back at all the good times we had Test Ladder PvPing pre-I13 and wonder again why oh why the devs decided to attempt to fix PvP and not listen to us or anyone that people would have called hardcore PvP'rs from that time. I am scared to see what is going to be awaiting me or even if any of my friends will be playing when I can get back on the game come middle of December.

So yeah they need to fix and return base raiding, it was normally fun for all, the Hardcore PvP'rs to the never really have PvP'd before. I never really heard a huge complaint after one, just how much fun most people had.

If only I could, I am stuck out here in the middle of the ocean, on a 128k internet connection that is bad at best for about 4.5 more months so..... resub again around christmas time and I will be back.

Remember the i-13 PvP changes that almost everyone said were just dumb? well its the same team.

Arena:sol.3 = Mech Battles. What if you are given a robot? What if your friend was given a robot too? Well, the most logical thing to do is PIT THEM AGAINST EACH OTHER! That’s right! Mech Battles. Each time you win some sort of Arena event you get some kind of ticket/merit/token thingy (oh no! another reward system!). You could then use the Arena store and buy accessories for you robot. A new head? Wings? Maybe a more powerful laser? The possibilities are endless!

Of course, your reward for winning any of these suggested new Arena Events would result in a new badges (badge-hunters rejoice!).

not one thing in any of those suggestions that would interest anyone who actually ever liked to PvP in this game. I will go with Rikti's idea, how about we get a magical PvP is fixed back to the way it was...oh...say pre-i13, when there were 8-10 teams or so in the Hero ladder and build/skill/team make-up/evasion techniques/how good the emps were on your team mattered vice the after i-13 of button mashing PvP.
