If you are new to PvP then yeah the best thing for you to start off with would be some kind of /regin scrapper or maybe a /wp stalker. Fire/Regin or Spines/Regin Scrappers are pretty popular and pretty PvP newb friendly, you almost have to walk away from your computer to die as a regin in a zone. Villian side I would suggest a stalker for the same reason, pretty survivable and new-to-PvP friendly toons.

To answer Az's question, it is on test for multiple reasons, one of which is so that no one would have to buy a server transfer to transfer to whatever server it would have been decided to be hosted on and the other is so that since IO's can be respec'd out and that can be done over and over, then hopefully there should be no "you only won because you had (insert random IO here).

I know most of us more into PvP types moved to Freedom with the free transfers for the Freedom PvP League that went on there but a new Ladder is starting up on the test server so if any one has any wants to PvP in a team environment then start a team and post the roster in the PvP Arena Forum Threads or sign up as a free agent Here

So far about 6 teams have voiced interest so it should be a good time. CHeck the PvP Arena Forum Threads for rules etc.

HP cap(1605) would be the goal for Defenders,Blasters,Corrs, and trollers. 1550ish is good but I try to hit the cap with all of mine. If you have less than that you will definately be a favorite target to be called.

No longer a Free Agent

Gonna write this up and pray it isn't a psypunk post.

I was on Integrity/Statesman's Watch with bitter and Neuronia and had a blast in the dUmb/PCJL/Integrity love triangle matches. Then I left to help some friends from Triumph get PE going.

Who did we practice with the first time we ran a practice match against someone, oh yeah that would be JAL when they were #1, and lets just say we got destroyed something like 30 some to zippo. We of course expected this to happen but we wanted everyone that had come to test to do join the team to see what the top teams were running/doing. We got some more people that had had experience and we practiced hard and got better. Not going to say we were ever a number 1 quality team but we did get better and won matches against dUmb, PCJL, Blacklisted. When VR broke up and Ajax, Helly, MAC B and Aura joined the team, I believe we were in a great position to move to the #1 spot and were doing great in practices against OS, then I12 hit and some people quit, some old VR people wanted to get their group back together so Ajax, Helly, Mac and Aura left to form PWNY XPRESS, which pretty much destroyed our team because we couldn't even field 8 with all the people who had quit and the leaving of those 4. So our team disbanded. Now the important part I want to say is that I am against the whole " lets have a draft so none of the teams are stacked" but want to say that just with the addition of those 4 players and in our matches they didn't all play at the same time, it was a mix and match of the old PE players and the guys that came over from VR, but just the addition of those 4 and the experience they had upped our team from eh ok to actually pretty damn good. So would it help if we did do the split up the top teams? Yeah it would more than likely but I don't think it is the right way to do it. People want to play with friends etc. But I would suggest some of the top team guys picking up some others and maybe find those diamonds in the rough players that if on a good team will probably shine brightly.

Everyone will get better just by practicing, everyone won't be the top teams but everyone will get better.

Test or Freedom, would rather it be on test with Freedom as the backup, as some others have stated.

Oh and yeah, I am uhhh looking for a team.....

Yeah with the cage nerf and the global resists in I13 sonic buffs are mostly worthless. I would roll up a sonic/pain or sonic/thermal, much more viable for team play. And don't listen to dahjee since inevitably he will show up in this thread and say that sonic/sonics still have a roll to play on a team.

and don't listen to any advice from dahjee. It will be bad and wrong and he will want your son to roll something that will just be horribad, causing your son to more than likely never want to PvP again.

almost everyone that PvP's on teams and posts here would more than likely join in on your tourney if you would have small inspirations, DR on, no TS and No Heal Decay, and heroes and villians both allowed, those are the settings that are normally set in team matches and the reason no one is signing up would be because of the rules you have in place for this tourney and because it is villian only. Another thing would be why do we have to sign up on your website? Use these boards and make a signup thread.
