"Elefftee!" he called out in the language of the Pugs

    [/ QUOTE ]

I had to do a double take after reading this, as I have a character called Elefftee

Confirmed. Females can use wings with the tuxes and males cannot.

    Bow Tie in Shoulders.

    [/ QUOTE ]

unless they added a second bow tie, that is not part of the pack, its been there a while.
  4. the story appeared in the original "in the beginning" thread shortly after the team completed it.

Personally, I think the pack is a tad light for what it costs.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    This.

I might just buy it regardless, just to support My Favorite Game, but .. it does seem a tad Light in what you get.

    [/ QUOTE ]

yes, I'm wondering if my wedding themed character is good enough as he is with his tux, or if its worth the extra money for the tails...
  6. Congratulations, Jock.

I am certainly holding high expectations for these new stories
  7. beautiful, but makes me think of something I don't want to think about...
  8. [ QUOTE ]
no, it makes us the best, as Kheld wanted to be most like Defender.

    [/ QUOTE ]

not that one, the one before, when Jock said that nobody made comments... its because it makes some of us look bad, and easily distrac.... oooh, look, a chicken!
  9. [ QUOTE ]
No comments. I have lost my audience to double xp weekend I continue, none the less, with my commitment to post these one a day until they are all put back.

Tonight's story brings Kheldians in to the mythology, and discusses what it means to be a Defender...

    - Jock Tamson, Who resisted the urge to use an origin involving calamari leftovers.

    [/ QUOTE ]

nobody likes the last story, Jock... it makes us look bad
  10. [ QUOTE ]
I have to say I'm enjoying these stories, Jock. Yours, too, Kid_Disaster!

I particularly like the optimism and acceptance shown in them. As morality tales, they work quite nicely! Too often we get caught up in the gloom and doom of things. These stories get beyond that and show how cool it is to be a "child of Defender."

    [/ QUOTE ]

Glad to see a bit more big name attention to our modest roots.
  11. [ QUOTE ]
This story introduces my favorite character. See if you can guess which one it is

    - Jock Tamson, Who is Scottish after all

    [/ QUOTE ]

Now I've got even less reason to play my precious Zuvaii (claws/regen)... oh well, /wrist.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Dood, are you crazy?

    Claws+Regen=Profit

[/ QUOTE ]Considering my first practical application of IH+DP was against three spawns of +3 arachnos LTs and minions on invincible while solo, bet yer [censored] I'm crazy.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well, I soloed 3 AVs at once, sans IOs without IH or temp powers.

    Top that.

    [/ QUOTE ]

rad/sonic solos GMs... at level 30
  14. I'm so happy these are back.
  15. I do love getting home to read these.

I'm making a shirt that says I heart Jock

    [/ QUOTE ]

I think it would have to say Jock_Tamson, since Jock could mean some random athlete
  17. [ QUOTE ]
Tonight, "The Parable of the Pointed Sticks". Wherein we learn the origins of villains, the value of working together, and another poignant analogy with fruit...

[Palin]Oh, you promised you wouldn't do fruit this week.[/Palin]

Well fine then, no fruit analogy this week, but there are some pointed sticks.

    - Jock Tamson, A maniac without a bunch of loganberries.

    [/ QUOTE ]

what if they have a raspberry?

Oh, and I was certainly wrong about you reaching your peak, Jock.
  18. [ QUOTE ]
