  7. Ok so ive tested my arc the whole way through, everything works like a dream.

    Then i go to publish it and am met with the message :

    "Cannot publish arc because field description begins with whitespace."

    I cant seem to figure out what its talking about, im sifting through my mission and well......... im drawing a blank here.

  11. Heres a good one. This ones been bothering me for about a year now.............

    When I got my COH beta invite me and my bro were both in school, poor as dirt and only had one computer. NOW im out of school, pretty successful and we are both sitting on rediculously powerful lvl 50 almost maxed out toons....... the only thing we cant do is play together....

    NOW most MMOs allow you to port over toons if you buy and activate a second account. SOOO why dont you guys make it so that if I buy a second account I can move a few of my boys over...... that way now that we can afford it, me and my bro can finally have seperate accounts without one of us losing 3 years worth of work.

    Dude I almost always agree with what you say, but saying Blasters are working as intended is like like dumping gas on a wound and tossing a match on it.

    Blasters have been limping along since issue 2. Our secondaries are SOOOO messed up. Ill tell you what, how about we do an experiment.

    We will take your favorite toon, and now we are going to make it so you can only pick one move in your secondary and we are going to gimp the rest.

    Now we are going to expect you to play that toon to 50 and NEVER ask for it to be fixed, and be completly happy when we give you an inherit that doesnt remedy the situation at all.

    Also Dual Swords suck lol.

    As far as the devs, I actually feel bad for them because of how constantly they get lambasted with criticisms no matter what they put out for us. I genuinely believe we have a dev group that cares about their player base, and it's a shame they receive so much flak. On the other side, I share the feeling that a lot of players do that we do often end up getting the "easy fix" with things like repeat animations, certain game mechanics and un-fixed problems (Fury, Placate, the Market, defense-based sets, etc.), the over-abundance of smashing/lethal, the perpetual gimpage of certain sets, and so on.

    It's a mixed bag, really. Overall, I sure would've liked to see a more innovative set like War Hammer, Psionic Weaponry, or Street Fighting, but assuming the actual powers of the set are decent, I'll give Dual Blades and Willpower their due. Now, if we wind up with another Claws-type or DPS-based attack set, or a defensive set that gimps itself by trying to be jack of all trades, master of none, then to hell with 'em.

    Couldnt have put it better myself. I still stand by my position that the City of Legends project should not have been scrapped. If things would have continued we would have got a unique power set for each AT and that is what we need.

    I hate that each time we just get 1 or 2 new ones and that is all you get to team with for the next 4 months. If we just had an issue of new sets then we would have basically a full 6 months of awesome teams and fresh toons.

    I know this would be very hard though......... I just hope that in the future we make our new sets count. Cause pretty much all of the new ones have sucked royally.

    Sonics for blasters, Dark for Stalkers, now these dual SWORDS.

    We could be doing so much more right now. I really think that we need to start having veteran polls. How about when we vote on things from now on we have two polls. One that everyone can vote in and one that you can only vote in if you have a certain ammount of veteran badges.

    That way we see what the noobies want and we see what the people who know what they are talking about want.

    Im not saying we should go off of what the vets want only, but dont you think it would really show whats best for the game?

    You can give a new player everything in the world but if they dont stick around whats it matter? You need to appeal to the guys who have stuck with you for 3 freaking years, if you start losing your vets your screwed.

I was really hoping the community wouldnt vote for another lethal set but they did, then to top it off I prayed that the devs would be creative and not make another sword set............. just great. We had our chance as a community to get a really cool set made and this is what we wasted it on. I really like Willpower but id rather choke then play another crappy sword set.

    Maybe if they were the redcaps knives but eck twin swords? I just hope that the next sets are worth the time its taken, cause im really not very happy about the swords.

    Ive basically run out of things to do in COX, my villan and hero are maxed out so until a good new powerset comes out Im sitting arond between lvl 50 content that comes once an issue.

    Please hurry up and make street fighting or somthing lol.

    OK now that the gloating is out of the way. Id like to first start by saying im in no way am going to say "YAY DEVS!" yet. They have not yet given me any reason to have faith in reguards to anything blaster related. Ive trying to cattle prod changes in our secondaries since issue 2.

    I will however give a big THANK YOU to Castle, and would like to also agree with the comment that its about time we have a redname. I am over joyed with his statements about the changes.

    I am glad they took our advice about increasing the range of some attacks, we badly needed it.

    /Fire ABSOLUTLY needs an overhaul, from lvls 1 to 50 the only secondaries I had were ring of fire ( required), Build Up, and Hot Feet, (cause I ran out of things to take before the ancils came out).

    While I welcome any positive changes to my favorite powerset, I like many others am confused as to what you could possibly need to change in the Fire/ set. I love it to death, the only thing in my opinion would make it better is if you ether added a small chance for fear (if i was on fire id be scared) or made Inferno a ranged move lol. The set is darn near perfect.

    Also yeah Device needs a little of there power back cause they got molested last nerf.

    Anywho..........
