  1. When you drive slowly down the street looking for vahz between buildings or near burn barrels.
  2. Classic Necropost, good luck in your search.
  3. How is your recharge? Are you running hasten? How have you slotted Lightning Storm, Psionic tornado, and Tornado?

    Ugh!

I love how slows mess up NPC's AI. As a side note the presence of level 32+ demon princes on red side with AoE slows grinds the AI movements to where you need a calendar to measure their speed.
  5. Short and sweet: I hate the fighting pool on masterminds, pick up Forge, it's an accuracy/damage buff that will push the burn patches even higher on the Assault bot, and for pete's sake put some slots in heat exhaustion.

Fair enough, healers are good and I have nothing against them, but haven't people learnt what defenders do? that mitigation > healing? that over time you could of prevented far more damage coming in than a healer could of healed.

And if you even mention your secondary blasts they call out the men in white coats to come and collect you. They act like you perform some heinous crime if you blast away, even though your blasts are debuffing the enemies and are an important part of what a defender does.

I don't know if it's that players really don't understand what defenders do or whether they just have that blinkered mmo mentality of having to have a healer no matter what.

    I am not a healer, I am a defender.
I am guessing you were running a forcefield, sonic, or ice defender-3 of my favorites. Buffs can do amazing things. My most memorable Kahn TF with Reichsman at the end our team had 3 mitigators: a storm defender, a sonic/sonic, and my forcefiled/psy. At the beginning of the TF the storm defender announced he had a heal but stated that he wasn't going to heal to keep us alive. It was rather harsh I thought at first, but I understood the sentiment. Our team ran extremely efficiently and successfully, and there was even a time when my forcefield defender caught some extra aggro and what do you know... I got an unexpected shot of O2 boost

    Which Mastermind

It sounds like you would want a Demons/Dark, get your whip, your stamina, your defense that stacks with shadowfall. Your toggles and clicks do the work on the secondary, no selecting and buffing healing other than the original summons and upgrade. It's also a BEAST of a good time.

    Stamina or Not?

I would warn if you wait completely til level 30 to start on Fitness you might regret it in that you WILL take the upgrade at level 32 and you WILL take the Dark Servant at level 38 or the gaming community will hunt you down
  9. You could play Robots/thermal to get a feel for masterminding. The robots are very sturdy and are fairly easy to control, not apt to go roving off by themselves. Thermal is the fire shield set and would not be a bad pairing for the robots.
  10. I like the aim powers on Kinetic defenders not so much for attacks as the gotta hit transfusion/transference.
  11. Dark miasma is a very solid and versatile set to grasp as your own. Congratulations. From my usual bully pulpit, I would cheer you to use howling twilight even when no one is defeated.
  12. On a team, howl gives you a cone -res debuff that is pretty substantial -20% which means your teammates or you can whack things faster with other followup powers besides howl.
  13. Group fly for the robot rocket boots giggle factor is worth a power placement IMHO, but then I am permanently age 12.
  14. This looks like a very solid FF support build for the Robots. The only thing I see is that the player might get bored. If it were me I might be tempted to take the photon grenade attack from the robot primary to help instigate attacks in bodyguard mode. 3 slotting the equip and upgrade is overkill; two is plenty for end reduction. I wouldn't 3 slot Grant Inviz with defense either; the defense is not worth slotting at all on a mastermind. You could put your extra slots in hover and fly for faster manuvering.
  15. Did you say this was a level 50 respec or are you still leveling? The only thing I would suggest is NEVER delay the 2nd upgrade; take it at 32.

That said, the damage/damage resist numbers are conflicting. Enhancing damage seems to enhance resistance too, and vice versa. Worse, slotting for resistance appears to knock damage down to priority B(and thus ED capping at 56% instead of 95%)
The schedule B damage presentation is a bug from what other masterminds have reported. It still gives full damage buff for slotting damage.

The one pairing that comes to mind that would NOT work is a brute and dominator. Domi's seriously reduce the amount of fury brutes can build since their job is to lock everything down.

Anyway, have fun with whatever duo you go with.
DS/poison level pacter here: if you don't like dark, a DS/poison and a DS/storm would work very well I am sure. The demons stack so much stuff on each other its great. After Abyssal empowerment, they will have stacking AoE heals to go with the AoE thermal shield stacking. You get tons of debuffing with this scheme, too.

    Edited for hellish punctuation
  20. I would point out that after level 32, the ember demon's abyssal empowered AoE heal does in fact affect the mastermind, as well as allies. For mastermind's without a self-heal, this feature is more critical. There is nothing wrong with slotting for accuracy, damage, heal, and of course endurance reduction since they are the first to drain themselves of the 3 tiers.
  21. How much to-hit bonus is offered to the minion that receives the Hell on Earth buff and is this worth enhancing for extra hard fights like AVs/GMs?
  22. To the OP, I would never delay or skip level six EQUIP thugs. I would never delay neurotoxic breath that long. Six slotting tp foe and not putting more slots in noxious gas is hard to follow, too. Three slots in health is heavy slotting for a power that is a space filler to get stamina.

Fluffy provides alot of support but Heat Exhaustion is applying the -500% regen nearly full time compared to Twilight Grasp.

Dark handles nasty mob types better also. Malta, Carnies and high end LongBow can be neutralized with Fear Cone and Holding key targets. Tar patch is great for herding. Etc.

If you're planning to not play this for serious AV killing, with a mix of Group and Solo play I recommend dark.

ANd if you're making it for AV killing, go Bot/traps.
Dark's howling twilight has a good sized chunk of -regen, too. It's also very true that thermal doesn't have the crowd control that dark does either. Thermal has the heat shield buffs which aren't shabby especially stacked with the ember demon's 10% resistance aura.
  24. It's functioning this same way onmy thermal mastermind if that is any comfort, misery loves company.
  25. TA has a good burst of -regen in EM Pulse arrow.

I agree some -range with -perception in flash arrow would be cool.
