    Not to put a dampner on things, but most of the missions that 'appear' ghostable (i.e Defeat leader and guards) aren't due to 'fanclubs' (unless thats been changed) and the lies (Some of the Defeat Leader and Guards are actually defeat all but don't tell you)

    These 'fanclubs' can see through stealth etc and will attack you till you die and curse skyward, and if you rez they'll auto come after you

    I'm glad you posted this, I was going to mention it myself.

    I'm not sure how much use it still is, but I wrote a guide to the SS TF's about a year ago, and I reckon most of it is still relevant. I know they fixed the 'invisible glowie' bug a while back, so ignore any mentions of that.

    Mind you, am pretty sure when we did that second shard TF the first time we didn't have a tank... just lots of scrappers so we *might* be ok. Mind, I'm probably making that up...

  5. update: got me to 41 tonight (and yay a travel power fit for the shards... Teleport), got Gonk to 40 (yay he come in the shards) and Lydda need just over a lvl and a half more so hopefully we're all on track

    ooooh... I would put three damage in the thunderstorm, much better than your blasts as you don't have to actually do anything once the cloud is up. Means you can concentrate on other things like healing, if required, or quickly chopping and changing between outfits.

    Particularly when soloing my stormy, thunderstorm is the difference between me being dead and me not being dead... plus it's always amusing to drop a thunderstorm behind a corner, run into a room and herd it up with your hurricane and then run back and hide behind the cloud. This tactic only really works if the cloud is kicking out a bit of damage too

    note: not many teams like you doing that, far better to do it solo

    we will have 2 sets of phantom army and 2 phantasms too who take a little of the aggro to let Gonk breath a bit

    I'm just hoping I can make 41 by saturday else I'm facing the prospect of starting these TFs without a travel power
  9. Dbeaver, I still have a blaster interested too - but they are still lvl 37 but I am gonna help them get to 40 tomorrow and thursday I hope (and friday if need be)

    So can we stick them in the list?

    Bah, its a long animation time, arent the squishies already dead by the time you crack your heal off? TP Foe with an interrupt reducer is the answer to both your problems if you have the Powerpool space.

    maybe, but that in no way leaves me with the total joy of hovering above a mob and thunderstriking them!

    Thunderous Strike does work-ish, even tho the animation is a little on the slow side... Although, tbh, I'm kin/nrg, if I really want to knock something back in a hurry I use power push...

    currently playing a little rad defender and one thing I've been wishing for is a little knockback... the amount of times I set up my toggles for something to get knocked out of them. I'd love to run around the other side and knock them back in my toggles...

    well, we're looking at a 5.30 start on positron... not really sure what time we can get that completed for to be honest. May have a word with the Iron Monkeys and see if we can get Positron under way this evening with a continue tomorrow (afterall I'll need my dinner tomorrow at some point!!)

    [/ QUOTE ]Why would you, anymore than after that? The -HP is persentage of your HP AFAIK, so doesn't matter what evel you are.

    Personaly, I found AP invaluable at the low levels.

    Yes as did I, AP was a good friend while I was growing up.

    pre-20 though you tend to have to heal more, as people get themselves into trouble more. Everytime you use it you use the same %HPs so if you were solely using it as a heal I'm pretty sure you would end up getting yourself killed by either healing yourself to death or always being in a situation where you can't heal yourself.

    Later in the game this doesn't become as much of an issue as things like regen aura allow you to regain those HPs and in general you really don't heal as much as you used to...

    now from my memory of fissure it's a little different as fissure deals some damage as well (well, quite a bit of damage once you have run in, fulcrum shifted and stomped your big boots on the floor...)

    The power does disorient foes as well. Think it might be quite a small chance to do it though as I don't really remember them being disoriented that much...

    So, to simplify how about we say the choices are:

    Either

    Sunday 12noon UK Time

    Or

    Monday Evening 7.30pm UK Time

    And then state if you can't make one of those times...
