If you have space to SK a 20 Forcefield Defender I'd like to come with:
Purotekuto - Forcefield/Psi Blast defender
If for any reason there are no SK spaces available then I can probably bring a different toon instead. First choice is the bubbles tho' -
Thanks Cyn!
Finally got the first toon I created to 50... it feels kinda weird. I've lost my ability to complain about my rubbish blaster, as she turned out lots of fun at the end -
Please can you add
Psynapse - Assault Rifle/Devices/Munitions Mastery Blaster
Thankees! -
Assuming it can be done by 2pm then Gonk and I are in. Not sure which toons but we have a couple to choose from
-
I may be interested, it's worth mentioning that the Eden trial does auto exemp but you still need someone in the range of 39-41 to actually start it.
-
Plus the Atlas Medallion is a handy piece to have
We should also try to run 3 Radio Band Missions so that we can do the safeguard and get the temp power, group TP I think, which would be fab for the TF -
I think I might be a bit late tonight. I need to put some extra hours in at work to get a day off next Friday and I'm running out of days to get those hours in. Feel free to start without me though and I will join in when I get there.
I can't remember exactly where we were up to but was it around mission 8? -
Yeah, you definitly want Amplify before you get to 32 and the amazing fun of Dreadful Wail. Then you can slot 3 x Dam and 3 x Recharge and not worry about the accuracy
(and yeah Sirens Song is a cone.. which is a bit like a group ahem).
Think in Ice you get shiver at 28 which is a reasonable cone slow... nice for firing at a group that's been gathered round a tank. Maybe one to try and see what you think anyway -
Sirens Song probably won't be *that* useful to you in large teams simply because it's a group sleep (with a fairly long animation time). Screech, however, is fab, and does a very nice (single target) disorient.
I'd try and grab build up from your ice secondary as well if you haven't taken it already... -
Big Gratz to Night Assassin (Ilusionist) for dinging 50 this evening... went super quick with the double XP this weekend
Well deserved 50 - here's to the next one! -
I've struggled to think of a good insult that rhymes with Boston tho
-
-
I may be a little late today due to my total inability to get out of bed this morning and turning up at work a little late (didnt help that I had to wait for my wakeup coffee for about 15 minutes as well...)
But I will be there... -
Just for the record and as I already mentioned this to DB... if this is really going to take 36 hours then I think I will have to pull out. 36 hours is just too long for me!
-
I will post my plan later. I think you can easily get all 6 TFs done in less than 24 hours including 3 longish breaks away from your PC for lunch, dinner and a midmorning snack.
-
36 hours straight is kinda silly...
-
Well maybe we can give ourselves a reasonable timescale as well... we planned to do the shadow shards in something silly like 8 hours...
If you average about 4 hours per TF (eeps) then we are looking at 24 hours of play... I'm sure we might find that will be intense
Gonk and I think we need to have an entry point, we don't think we can afford to start these TFs at 10. We think the minimum lvl for entry to these TFs should be 15, ideally 17/18 (banking on fresh enhances). This would hopefully mean that Positron won't be an epic battle...
Gonk and I also think having some Shivan pets, Warburg nukes and other temp powers that can help out might be handy to have in our arsenal
Phew -
I'm pleased I came across this thread... had been wondering how to spec my rad/sonic from a frankly awful build I made one crazy afternoon for a TF. I've now specced it a little like the build on here with modifications to suit my own playstyle... and wow... it's great. I think I can almost out damage my sonic blaster
-
The lowest level would be positron at 10-15.
I did Manticore TF this weekend and I was watching my XP gain quite closely. We did a full team of 8 (defenders!) and started out at Rugged lvl, upping to invinc along the way as it was a bit easy... however, I can now safely say that although you might get 10-30 doing the first lot of TFs I think you would be very hard pushed to get from 30(1)-35 during Manticore. For the entitire TF I only got just over a lvl... so if you are planning to try and get as many lvls as possible on a toon, make sure you have something in reserve
I also think in order to succeed at the TFs we need to make sure we have a reasonable balance of ATs. Would be a bit daft, for example, to turn up to Positron and realise we had 6 blasters, a tank and a scrapper.... and most of them were only lvl 10. -
Yep, I am interested and I think gonk is as well - obviously it depends on the weekend but pencil us in
-
We all did the xmas missions on Tuesday so if you get some free time before they close down again this weekend (they can be done nice and quick if you select the mission and then get someone a lot higher to run through and kill things)
Good luck with your last exam -
Ah, what lvl were you when you originally got the police radio?
The police band only opens up to use after level 5, but IIRC you can actually go and get the radio earlier than that. The Radio won't work in Atlas Park though as I'm pretty sure Kings Row is the starting zone for the police band missions.
The only other reason I can see why it didn't work was you already had three missions selected.
