nah when you've got a kin regen simply owns, sr can be quite easy for a blaster to kill.

yeah sr is great, but in teams regen wins imop because it has dull pain [img]/uk/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] solo sr owns.

the moment you use blizzard, you gain all aggro, so you can easily be killed before the time of blizzard is over. and whe nyou die the blizzard dies as well. why the other nukes are so good is simply because the can kill all minions and liues in one shot whereas blizzard has to do something like 20 ticks, in that time you can be very vulnurble.

some powers may look good in paper, but in practise they are not as great. the fact that i've played a ice blaster up to 50 and i've had blizzard during that time. I never liked blizzard during that time and considerd it as the worst blaster nuke, and i still consider it the worst blaster nuke. Rain of arrows atleast doesnt drain you of all endurance.

any particular reason why you went for ice secondary [img]/uk/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] i'd recomend fire secondary with fire primary, fire sword cricle and consume are lovley [img]/uk/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img].

take shocking bolt over static discharge, take coombat jump super jump instead of hover adn fly, adn take acrobatics instead of emp pulse.

i just feel sr is a bit lacking because it doesn't have a power like dull pain.

he means you want to put a jumpenhancement in combat jump and possible take hurdle and put one there as well, it will give you unsurpressable combat movement, so keep hitting space and move forward, or chase someone very efficently.

you want both aim and build up before level 30, if your gonna pvp in sirens call that is.

why take a stone tanker if you're not going to use granite armor. might as well make a ice tanker and have more defense, or a invulnur have more dfenese/resistance

takes hasten to over come, but if another brute has hasten he attacks EVEN more then the graniter can.

slot all your attakc powers with 2 acc 3 damage 1 recharge, and for the volcanic sentilen you should slot it with 3 end mod 2 acc is enough. And your nuke TB should be slotted with 3 damage 3 recharge, only fire it off with yo uhit aim and build up. and besides it doesnt drain you if you only hit one target, which makes it the best nuke in pvp, as well that it's ranged. so you can basacly continue to attack the person you hit after you nuke.

lol u kidding me remove those 3 slots from charged armor it only needs 3 slots with damage resistance, ur primar yand secondary will keep your end up.

take short circuit before plight hammers your head :P.

go for spines or broadsword.

I'M NOT SAYING TAKE IT AWAY. I just want them to change the recharge a beat to make it less spammable or change the interuption.

aid self doesn't only add survivability to squishies, it's add waaaay too much survivability to people with sets like ice armor, super reflexes, invulnurbility. I could never imagine the devs having the intention of this power being used so efficiently in pvp.

Seriously why dont you make a alt like a none /em blaster, a corrupter or a dominator and see how you get on? Its the only way to be able to make the broad sweeping statement that you are doing, as it stands you are not in remote command of all the facts. Try it in a real context and tell me squishies like trollers, defenders, doms and corrupters whod DONT have a heal in their sets (yeah we all know you ahve an EMPATH troller)

I really have to say that this thread irks me, mainly because you are supposed to have a grasp on the mechanisms of the game and yet you seem oblivious to how vital aid self is to certain alts and is in no way overpowered for the majority. Im sure pvp dominators really could use dying more often than they do, this is why we barely see any as is. What is it that you want? City of tanks/scrappers/brutes?

no but it's ridiculous having two scrappers chasing my blaster and can barley kill me because i can run away and heal such a great amount of hp and so often. I'm just saying it needs a looking at.

yup i ran into the safe zone, anyways this discussion is getting out of hand, let's get back to the original topic. Aid self needs a tad nerf, as in increasing the recharge, it's avalable way too often.
