I stopped at T3 on all of my toons, I saw no point to T4 when the extra bonuses were unnecessary for my builds. /shrug.

Of course, now that I'm Premium I don't see much of a point to any Incarnate system :P

Honestly, I don't have any sort of connection with any of the Freedom Phalanx. I think they made a huge mistake when they gave them TFs instead of more story arcs that would let the players "connect" to the heroes in some way, shape, or form.

I brought this question up in a Ustream when Synapse was a guest (I think). Basically I asked what sort of role a new AT would need to fill that is not already filled. He was a little stumped at first, but finally said that if he were to try to come up with a new AT then it would likely be a melee buff/debuffer where the buffs and debuffs are somehow attached to the attacks via some mechanic.

He did not say that they were working on it, but neither did he say they were not. He did seem to consider the question thoughtfully, but it seemed like it was more of a, "Hmm, haven't really thought about that before - all the roles seem to be filled already" sort of thing.

That's what it is, the Imperial Dynasty set. It's in the market. Never did see how the sword looks in-game, but not going to blow a server slot on a new character slot to find out either :/

Last I checked during the i22 Beta it was on there - but that doesn't mean it'll make it to Live, unfortunately. It may just be for testing purposes.

Going to say "Brute" too. What type? Well, that's up to you. I'd go with something that has a damage aura, probably, just because Fulcrum Shift will turn that up to 11. Heck, you'll have very little problem with endurance due to Speed Boost and Transference so I'd say.... Claws/Dark Brute. Roll with it.

Haven't read everything, but a few notes:

1) It's typically very easy to acquire the recipes or IOs that you want for your build, depending upon their rarity. There are many ways to get the specific recipes: Reward Merits, Astral Merits, Alignment Merits, and of course regular drops from missions. Some do not drop from defeated foes, however. You can also "roll" with AE tickets, Reward Merits, and Alignment Merits.

2) Using Alignment Merits & the player Market you can make more money to get more 'cheap' recipes. For example, recently a level 30 Luck of the Gambler 7.5% Increased Recharge Speed recipe was going for 150 million influence. If you were to use 2 Hero/Villain Merits to get the IO at that level (using the level slider) you could purchase full sets of Crushing Impact, Thunderstrikes, etc.

3) You can save up Alignment Merits & Empyrean Merits (I think!) to get Purple & PVP IO recipes. This is a good deal, typically, as some of the PVP IOs are extremely expensive. At one point one of them was valued at worth more than the in-game currency cap.

4) Using AE is not necessary to craft. It *does* make things a lot easier - and you do not have to farm. There are a lot of good arcs to experience. Check out the Mission Architect forum to find some of them easily. With tickets you can attain all the salvage you will need for crafting with ease.

I like DFB. I didn't at first, but I do now. I despise the early game, I hate not feeling "super" in a super hero MMO. If I make a new character it either stays in DFB for a bit or takes a trip to AE with my second account. I like a lot of the level 20-30 story arcs, some of the ones in the 30s, and even more of the 40+. Redside has an especially nice selection of 40+ story arcs IMO.

I don't think it's terrible that people can and do level up pretty high with Death From Below. I do think it's a shame they miss some quality content, but that's what Ouroboros is for.

Also, when you get to 50 (I think) you can change it whenever you go to the trainer. So you're not stuck with it forever if you end up not liking it.

I *think* there might be incoming AE licenses too for the Premiums out thar. Not positive if they'll make it to Live, but they were in the store on Beta recently.

You didn't miss much in the beginning. I made a terrible joke, nobody was amused (aside from myself. You couldn't post it on the forums anyway).

Devices. I see no reason to make a /Devices toon when Traps is so much better and fun and Corrs are great as well.

Cancer, or another disease. He hid it for so long, dies from it before delivering the final blow to some hated enemies and the player has to pick up the slack.
