The problem with OK'ing submissions is partially an issue because of manpower. Depending on the number of submissions, you'd need people entirely devoted to reviewing, approving and ultimately putting that stuff into the game. That's not trivial, to be honest, when dealing with 100,000+ subscribers.

We've always talked about ways to get player material into the game...imagine using the base creator tools to make your own missions! Or a your own training room? Maybe some day we can figure a way to put this stuff into the game. The imagination just on these forums alone is so amazing; I can only hope we find a way an outlet for it.

Heh, as a fire/ blaster, I have a hard time not pulling aggro off tanks.

GW's hold is mag -30, actually. That's enough to cut through a stone tank with granite+rooted, or a regen with integration+MoG. Put a mez protection buff on a stone tank, and you should be fine. Alternately, but a few on any other tank

I guess that's my main response as well. I did notice they only cited one "fact" throughout the video, and that was claiming that 50% of americans play video games. They also didn't cite a source for this "fact."

Personally, I'm not really sure how this works. I have heard that if you build up before you drop the item, it does extra damage. And I have heard that it is not actually the time you drop the item that is important, but that it does damage within the duration of the build up. So, for instance, you might build up and drop a DoT item, and it would do the boosted damage until Build Up wore off and then go back to the regular damage.

If the latter is true, then you need to time your Build Up to just before your foe sets off the Trip Mine. Or just before the Time Bomb goes off. For completeness you might test both. (When you drop it, and when it goes off)

Then again, maybe you already did.

No, it's not. I had it(by accident) a few days ago, and it still has a tohit check, and it's still next to useless.

I recommend you drop it for superspeed. Same result, more consistent and manipulatable means.

Something just occurred to me. An epiphany if you will!

Awhile back(i6ish, i think,) "rain" powers that summoned a temp pet to do damage got changed, so buffs to the player would then transfer.

Does this include time bomb?

Fire is getting a higher damage cap than the rest of you suckers, and the snipe is being replaced with fulcrum shift. Also, blaze is becoming an AoE.

Haw haw, j-a-y k-a-y. I head something like that, too.

But you're also not including the usefulness of other powers in the set. Knockback, although annoying to kinneticists, is a valuable tool for an energy blaster. There's a decent AoE, nova, two excellent KB powers, and a good snipe(if you like to pull.)

Katana has one knockup, and a -acc for melee range.

Now, am I saying EB is better? No, not at all. They just have different uses.
