these three channels are very active and there will always!! be some one online teams task forces random missions raid etc are advertised in these channels so u can shout out or shout up when u need one or other people are looking for another person to team with

if you have toons on defiant they have sim ilar channels but dont know the names to give them yto you, new lots has changed since i11 and i12 so its worth comming back even if its only just a month to test to see if you want to return. the english servers arnt bursting at the seems with players but we have all become a close knit ciommunity and all friendly!

But to get more of the EU into this server we must also ask in various chat channels on the 4 servers of who wants to join in. And hopefully get them to post in here aswell... OR
Simply make the channel asap and get people to join it. But again... its the name of the channel...

So err.. we need to start thinking up a few alternative names for this sg & chat channel. The good thing about this is that even if we become more then 150 players we can simply make coalitions bases that are extensions to the "main" themes group.

So... suggestions for NAMES for the HERO & Villain group?

The good thing about your suggestion is that no matter what server we normally play on we can always get in touch. That is a goal to support.

But Damz suggestion of having one base with as many players in it, do have a merit. A base which many people can contribute too. A fresh start so to speak.

In my rp sg we do have an ooc channel (global as every channel is) that we use to communicate on any alt that we have, so both ideas can be used.
It is not like we will abandon our bases and sg's (that would be wrong).
Well that is how I see it anyway.

In the end it boils down to interest. Shall it be mostly forum goers (not sure we can fill all places with that), which of the already existing sg's would like to join in this project?

I would reccommend for such a project: A base (physical presence on a server) and a global channel.
If we decide to go with it, then we need to find out theme and name for the group. Hero or villain side... or both. (But that means two names)
Then server and having a few persons reserve the name and have a few people in the sg with alts that can be kicked. But which can be there at start to invite new players into the sg. Those placeholders may or may not be already players that should hold office (ooo very offically put there) if that is decided earlier then launch.
How many leaders and who should be the super mentor. No idea, but that would be secondary.
For now the question should be.
1. Is there interest in this project?
2. Shall we have a base, or only global channel, or base and a global channel?
3. Hero or villain, or both (that means 2 names)?
4. Which Server(s)?

A buddy who has a few accounts only has one out of Three laptops still playing since I17.

Four years I did not have a problem but for when AE issue killed my VG off and they paid me inf to replace it rather then them actually having to Fix it.
So yes, while you are first reporting this on this posting, it was reported all Through Test and since I17 went live, The promissed "UM is Optional and will not effect normal game play" did not happen, it's just more noticable with and on laptop players.

I think the Dev's Expect paying players Will go Buy new systems to continue to play the game since they moved the game Away from them and their current equipment, ain't happening here. I canceled my account, not paying a monthly service for 15 minutes at a time play and further Damage to my system nor am I going to pay another 2K so I can continue to pay them.

To make it clear and simple they have Forced UM on us and Have changed the game, as it was and they sent it Live anyway = "normal game play" is now With the "optional UM".

Hell, you can tell by all the TF's and zones bugging now this was pushed thru far to fast and "checks" must have been Skipped or they said after seeing they were Failing push it thru Anyway, we want it out for the 6th broke or not.

Which is just Bad Business and causes Paying customers to leave.
