if you don't have a stone brute i would go for leaping.
Super speed is a pain in the [censored] on those island.

it all depends on what u want to do with your brute.
I use my brute as a tank.
I have a dark/stone brute and i suck up the agro, get my fury bar full and kill everything i c and try to keep my team mates save.

i have a dark/stone brute so it dosn't mather what kind of kinetic guy it is, he is loved by me

when i have my granite and rooted on i can finaly walk normal instead of the baywatch walk

i have a dark/stone brute and i have taunt and i can't life with out it.

Taunt is 1 of the best powers to get your furry up and fast and keep those enemey's away from your team mates.

One of my chars is an ice/storm controller

and from all the chars i have i like him the most, got some great holding powers and not to mention the ice slick!

the bad thing about that combination is when u infect some1 with the debuff power and u strart shooting the ones that are close to 'm, you knock them back out of the radation..
