I agree, I have no interest in killing granites. And otherwise claws gets the job done to my liking. Nothing gives me more enjoyment then machinegunning focus from all directions

I've seen comedy tanks but can't recall a build. What I have seen more then once was thermal corrupters with only the AoE heal, all the blasts and none or one debuff. Which actually isn't comedy, more like sad.

My own experience is that the pets start using a lot more end when you get past the second upgrade, a end redux on the pets solves this. You can easily take em from the upgrades themselves, since you overslotted them imho. Best is (imho again) to slot all the pets for 2 acc 3 dmg 1 endredux

I only fear regens on my stalker, I mean good ones, not the ones who acually use MoG. On the ther hand, you can't rely on your defenses if he has FA and Tactics. A lot of scrappers totally ignore defense based god modes. You need some utility to slow him down, hold him, or annoy him. So a stalkers fear in zone pvp is in the power pools and epic pools.

I totally aggree on the don't roll a scrapper, there are a lot of thermals and kins these days and they totally own melee toons. And I think the /regen cap in a zone has been reached by now :P (just kidding don't hit me)

Ok, I haven't read all the posts in this thread, but imho invul is fine, even tanked the STF with it. The reason you might be doing bad is that you don't get the point of Dull Pain. Just hit it before you enter a mob and it doesn't really matter what damage type they throw at your massive amount of hp. You can't rely on your shields alone, you need damage mitigation. I use invoke panic to reduce the minions to eh nothing and footstomp to keep the whole spawn in the air. Invul leads to a more active role of tanking imho because the aura is less effective and unstoppable has a nasty drop (which I love), but wouldn't want it any other way

Someone is asking how to powerlevel and nobody has told him yet to just enjoy the game? Oh my.. :P

The TF is challenging, but not that hard. Don't go heroic, it would be a waste of the best TF ever

It's a great plan, but there is no point really. Pylon raids have been in a non-stop farming state ever since i10 went live. Everybody goes in and out of the teams, but there are people fighting the mothership all the time till very early in the morning. All you have to do is go there :P

I had a lot of fun and wasn't even playing. My grilfriend was playing Yoko Masters and had a blast in her first ever PvP play. Like Alvan said it had some great balanced moments, but there were times the MM's were too overpowering I must say. Like in RV when suddenly it was down to 7 heroes to hold the zone, when it didn't even start yet. Villains left way too early, cause a lot of people were arriving at the correct time. The people who started it all were gone, like pistol and his gang. Well anyway great event, looking forward to something similar.

Nice had a similar thing with an AoE. I just knew a stalker was around. I used 3 or 4 yellows I think and then hit invoke panic, he came out of hide and looked real scared :P Knockout blow tastes so much better when you got em feared

Yeah I remember you have a claw/nin, we discussed the weird change of animation on one of the shields earlier. Anyways I have a claws/nin aswell and I agree that it is kinda dissapointing damage wise. Really makes you wish you had energy :P but that brings us back to the post again

That sounds great PvP, and cool that you agree now, thought you were calling me a whiner when all I said was that it would be cool to have something else trying to get through my shield. But for a pretty long time now I go into a pvp zone I just get my end drained and get held. I've seen that now, I can't beat it and have no way around it. So it would be cool to actually fight something that gave a bit of a thrill.

ok sorry, I was just making a joke, but I shouldn't think I'm funny I guess. I had a great time and the post is based on more pvp experiences then this afternoon. The one and only thing I'm saying is that I find it a bit strange that everytime I go into a pvp zone, it's like a lot of people are playing the same things, cause they read it's powerfull, and more and more people are starting to roll one of these sets, that is all. I'm not calling anyone a bad player or something. Just saying that I would love to see some other things to be effective. I don't mind getting killed, I actually feel pretty good when it takes 3 people.

I just came back from RV, and alltough I had a lot of fun, I would love to be killed by some other things then pink fists or green and blue circles around me. So this is my ode to those powersets we all know are the gods among us that we should respect, and to those who choose em so willingly cause we all know it will provide greatness. We all try to follow em and spec ourselves to great lengths for the mighty pvp zones. Where we can enjoy ourselves on a nice end drain and a powerfull punch that will stun you for eternity. We must honor them. Show everybody the path, till there are only fire/kins left in this world. (this post is not a whine on omg this keeps pwning me, or regen is lame, nerf it. no this is only a scream for variety)
