Okay just based on CR's last post I believe Pyro is in for an awesome machine.
I find it very cool that CR has taken Pyro's current monitor into consideration and is preparing him for a possible upgrade. To me that already shows good customer service. I look forward to following this more.

You know when I first read that CR built custom PCs, my brain had a little flicker. i built my last comp and it really is on it's last leg. I can't wait to see this thread unfold.

CR why do you not partake in the Tech section then? I read it and this one religiously.

I'm not an expert by any means and I'm sure FatherXmas will be along shortly. BUT I know a lot of people avoid liquid cooling because of the added maintenance and possibility of leakage. Which usually when someone is buying a pre-built comp they don't know how to or aren't willing to keep that up.

Otherwise the only thing I'd question is the Power Supply large enough if you plan to add anything down the road like a second GPU. Also isn't Alienware now Dell? They tend to have a lot of proprietary stuff in their comps. Maybe the Alienware division is different I don't know. But I know when I went to upgrade my old comp it became easier to just build a new one than deal with all the problems that came with proprietary parts. Heck I kept my old hard draive and for the life of me my system still says Dell on it even after a complete wipe and install of XP.

Wow you photographed this THEN cleaned it up? What kind of setup do you use? When I photographed JRs work I could never get it that clean.

Ran the Sewer Trial tonight and after finally getting organized and knowing what to do we defeated the Hydra with 21 seconds left. The clock continued to run and hit zero with a Failed Mission. Did we miss something?

We petitioned but I wanted to make sure that's all we had to do.

Okay but here's a dumb question/assumption:

Being that the devs are working with it now, wouldn't that assume they are using currently available tech to test and create Ultra Mode? Hence if you build towards the top end you theoretically safe?

Now I know then what do we consider the top end? Yeah yeah I said it was a dumb question/assumption.....

I downloaded Al.Chemy and played for a few minutes nothing to write home about by any means. I'll keep working and get back to this thread maybe.

Things I love about this new design:
Asymmetrical top - I really hope this is coming to COH.
The matching arm and chest medallion.
Flowy pony-tail.
Texture on the pants. Kinda stealthy and gives a nice 3-d effect.

Agree with CR, very informative. And very appreciated. I too would like to know how you handle "Glow" effects such as eyes or powers.

Also, the one thing i missed was when you used the blur tool to soften the lines of your highlights. At least I THINK that's what you did.
