Forgetting:

I'd forget everyone else. Because they'd remember me and would help me learn all about them again. Also I wouldn't mind if I could forget my in-laws anyway. Sometimes it'd be nice to not have a completely jaded view about a few of the people I know as well. You know the old saying, "Ignorance is Bliss".

Rock Star or Movie Star

I'd probably go with Rock Star. They don't seem to get the paparazzi treatment as much as movie stars. Pop stars excluded I mean real rock star like um I don't even know many names of rock stars because they aren't on TV all the time so there ya go. I know some get more paparazzi than others but for the most part not as much as say Gerard Butler or Jennifer Aniston etc.

Foo that's the case I planned to get except with the solid side instead of the window. I like that it has two front fans and a top fan which is a 210mm I believe (at work can't confirm just going of memory). Also it has the bottom mount Power Supply but not the vent in the bottom like "B" does. I also like that the USB ports all are on top and angled to the front as my comp sits on the floor under my desk to the left quite a bit.

But like I said for me it is a toss up between the two and which one I find on sell at the time I start building...... or have CR build (crosses fingers that wifey is cool with me getting my own Christmas present MUAHAHAHA).

I'm cool with being belated... At least I didn't miss it all together!

Batman has way cooler toys and doesn't have an inner need to be tied down to one woman. Joker kills off girl d'jour on to the next money grubbing debutant!

50 Mosquitoes or 3 Bees

3 Bees - I can deal with the pain much easier than the seemingly never ending iching mosquito bites cause me and I'm not allergic to bee stings that I know of.

My son was 8 when I started playing and he made very similar toons. Little boys love robots! He now has his own account and his costumes are much better. But now everything he makes is similar to someone in a comic or video game so I have to keep an eye on him so he doesn't get banned. He also makes a lot of assassins and ninjas now.

Oh I was going to point out that if you don't like how bright the lights are then you can easily swap the fans for ones without lights so in the end it's which do you like better.

Thanks for the input everyone. I decided to go with the cheaper one which does only have 512 sensitivity level. I was thinking like CR if it works for him and he likes it then down the road I could upgrade. I made this mistake once when he wanted drums. I went out and bought a great set of drums aka very expensive. I'm now looking to sell them for about $100.

I already have PhotoShop 6 on my old comp which is what he will be using. I also have access to PS CS3 on my work laptop so he should be fine as far as all that goes. Mostly it's a starter thing and it's actually on sale for $50 at NewEgg so it's cheaper than Assassin's Creed 2 which he also wants.

So I ended up buying the first one. I went to the local Frye's and messed with it. I think for his current abilities it should be fine.

I currently have a comp now with a side window and bright blue lights inside. I tend to play in the dark a lot and it is nice as a "nightlight" of sorts. If this were in my bedroom though I don't know I'd like it as much. Of. Course I also use a back-lit keyboard too. Other than that I don't know much Apevia cases. But with CR's nice wiring job I might like to show it off a bit. But I keep my case under my desk so no one really sees the insides anyway.

Case B is a Cooler Master and that particular one is the exact one I would use if I didn't pick up an Antec Nine Hundred. B will be a great cooling computer especially if your power supply is the two fan variant. This case has a vent right under the power supply. Also the huge fan in front pulls air in and and across everything.

So I would go with B.

Well yay me. I got most of em right the first time. Honestly I have been looking into building a comp for over a year now and am pretty familiar with a lot of things. Though I will be the first to admit when detail numbers start to get involved I don't know a whole lot. I know the basics on CPUs, GPUs, and Power Supplies. I know the general differences in the OS's now. I did build my current system so I'm sure I could do it again. BUT there's no way I'd feel as confident as if you, CR, or someone like you built it.

Numbered guesses time:

#4 - well you told us USB 3.0 which is really future proofing. But if it pulls extra power from the power supply do you now have to take that potential draw into consideration when buying a Power Supply?
#5 I'm going to guess a sound card based on the lovely Dolby label. This is one area I hear a lot of conflicting reports on. A lot of folks say the new gen CPUs and boards handle the sound just fine and that a card is overkill. I'm assuming you are not of this mind - why?
#6 The new Star Trek 2(10?) Movie communicator? Yeah I don't know here. I was thinking some kind of surge capacitor much like what automobile sound guys use giant fuses/capacitors for? But really I would guess a tape dispenser as well. lol

Is this a good starter tablet? Thinking of getting it for Jr. for Christmas and it's on sale right now and free shipping.
Or would this be better because of the sensitivity levels being 1024 vs 512 of the first one?

Very awesome LJ! I too am digging the zoom in on the eyes as the background. Reminds me of how they use to show mental control in old movies and also when Banner turned into the Hulk in the old TV show.

Okay see this is what I mean. I built my current computer and it likes like your before pic. I want an after pic computer! I guess I'm going to have to be Scrooge this Christmas and buy lightly for everyone else lol.
