I have to say I'm very impressed with this character and like him more and more. You've done a great job of bringing him together and making a very original persona. I love it! I'm always amazed at folks that can stick to a couple of toons. Being the alt-aholic I am I get bored easily and quickly. PS for instance was my first and main toon for about a year and a half. After that I've had a hard time becoming attached to anyone of them. And even PS has been back burnered for so long now. I come up with decent stories for them but never something that I think is so amazing and original that I'd be able to dedicate as much time to as you, Bayani, TA and Caemgen (to name a few) have. I applaud you all!
All the arts are wonderful as well! Keep up the great work and great commissioning! -

I took it as if what if the story took place in the Soviet Union vs America.. Kind of like Red Son in Superman... But that's me, I can't speak for Juggertha.
edit- well I guess if the tag line was changed to reflect something like "Join the Soviet Phalynx" or seomthing and leave out the playing part it would make this seem more like how I read it. -
Doesn't 335 sound like a better number?
Just teasin! That is pretty darn awesome though. I wonder if anyone has drawn near that many different toons. -
Very cool piece Pyro! Grats LJ!
Flies like an egyptian.... :-) -
Just put a headliner: "Paragon Times - Classifieds", then it's a paper... Still works.

Very cool piece, even if I wasn't in it.
And I loved the tag line.

Quote:Well now that he's decided, I think we all want to see the "Lacy Look".Alright Juggy, I decided on the Russian uniform instead of the lacy look. Let me know if the lacy look is what you prefer.
This is xXx RUSLANA xXx my fire/kin corruptor.Soviet spy by day, singer by night!

Okay I can't resist... This is Project Chernobyl. Basically he is the real reason behind the meltdown... It was secretly a Soviet Super Soldier Program that went very wrong. PC is the only thing that walked away and has remained in hiding for years, until the Rikti invaded and he could stay hidden no longer. (yeah I know pretty lame...)
And just for giggles:

All great arts! I am so jealous! I really wanted to have CR build me a comp but I ran into a deal locally that I couldn't pass up and my "want-it-NAO" button was mashed!
Eddy's colors are amazing! I really love how very different he is able to make them. The alt-territory pieces look like they were painted on canvas yet the NemofronSpain piece looks straight out of a comic book.
Grats on all these pieces! -
It wasn't just Liberty, Justice was the same all day on Saturday for me, my son and friends. Exactly as you describe it. I have an I7 860, 8gb ram and a gtx275. With so many affected it is definitely something wonky on the game's end.

That is AWESOME!!! I love that the flame from the candle is reflecting on the helmet!

Great piece LJ! I like the revisions. Grats Pious

Will a 71' do? With a 351C Cobra Jet? It has a little front end damage but the engine still ran when dad ran it into the center guard rail at about 70mph... No I'm not kidding... Was my first car, he was driving it because it kept overheating on me.
15 years later I still have the car at a friends...

Dagnabit! I usually can watch these forums during the day no problem but I have JURY DUTY that day! Stupid civil duties! Oh well good luck and grats to those that grab them!

Just jumping in here again... We ended up using the version of Coral Painter that came with the tablet and it does support the touch sensitivity. I unfortunately haven't checked on any new arts Jr. has created but will check when I get home and post up something if he's got any...
I know he still prefers pencil and paper... -

I just bought a comp with a GTX 275 and have had zero issues. The game loaded right up and once I adjusted my settings (based on the JG001s thread - see PR_MUS's setting suggestions below) and I've had amazing gaming. Maybe try starting in safemode then adjust your settings and then restart the game.
But you may want to check your drivers. My comp was built in January so the drivers were definitely not up to date. The cool thing about the Windows Update is they actually check for hardware updates. The bad thing is they don't list them as priority updates so you have to click on the option to OPTIONAL UPDATES and then choose to include that file for updating. OR go to NVIDIA.com and follow the Driver Update link... heck here it is for you if you live in the US. Make sure to put the correct OS that you are using.

Quote:Gonna help out as much as I can here, just getting back into the game today after about 12 months out.
My current system is:
Intel i7-920 w/12GB RAM
MSI Twin Frozr GeForce GTX 260 w/896MB RAM (196.21 Forceware)
Win 7 Pro x64
So you know where I'm coming from. Starting off, I'm continuing to use jg0001's settings in the NVidia CP without changes. For the in-game settings, I'll go through them one at a time with the settings that work best for me. (There are places where settings are repeated, I've simply skipped over those.)
GRAPHICS
Resolution: 1680x1050 (obviously, set this to whatever res you're running at.)
FSAA: 2x (any setting above this immediately drops my FPS from 60 down to 30, and even 2x has my FPS fluctuating between 55 and 60fps.)
Advanced Graphics Settings: Enabled
Graphics Quality: Customized
ULTRA MODE OPTIONS
Shadow Mode: Stencil Shadows (Shadow Maps of any quality immediately drop my FPS from 60 down to 30.)
Shadow Map Shader: N/A
Environment Reflections: Ultra Quality
Water Effects: Ultra Quality
Advanced Occlusion Settings: Enabled
Ambient Occlusion: Customized
ADVANCED AMBIENT OCCLUSION SETTINGS
Occlusion Strength: Strong (The highest setting, "Strong with color bleeding", immediately drops my FPS from 60 down to 30.)
Ambient Resolution: Quality
Blur: Bilateral Depth (this is a weird one. On my rig, Fast has about a 2 FPS hit, Gaussian and Gaussian Depth have a 1 FPS hit, Bilateral and Bilateral Depth have about a 2 FPS hit, and Trilateral drops my FPS down to 30.)
ADVANCED GRAPHICS SETTINGS
Suppress FX When Close: Disabled
AGEIA(TM) PhysX(TM) support: N/A (this is a personal thing, I need PhysX support disabled to play Sacred 2 with the Ice & Blood Expansion without crashing.)
Particle Physics Quality: High (same reason as AGEIA support above)
World Texture Quality: Very High
Character Texture Quality: Very High
World Detail: 100%
Character Detail: 100%
Max Particle Count: 50000
Vertical Sync: Enabled
Mouse Cursors: Color
Use Geometry Buffers: Enabled
Anisotropic Filtering: 16x (yeah, I can jack AF up to max, but not FSAA.)
Texture Crispness: Smooth
Shader Quality: High
Depth of Field Effects: Enabled
Bloom Effects: Regular
Bloom Amount: 100%
Desaturation Effects: Enabled
So the big three performance hits seem to be FSAA above 2x (and I wonder if that's a bug of some sort, as I didn't previously have this issue), Shadows set to Shadow Maps, and top-end Advanced Ambient Occlusion.
Got a lot of playing to catch up on, so I'll be seeing how my current settings fare in a lot of situations.
