sold a Circuit Board for 90k last night.
    salvage is still acting kooky.

    [/ QUOTE ]

That was to me! I was trying to make some lowbie 90k richer...since thats what my characters usually put up in the low levels, I figured I'd make someone else surprised and happy.

Just wanted to throw out: Wait till after 2XP Weekend! Nothing wreaks havoc like it outside of the release of AE.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm hoping the devs make the double xp only available outside of AE.

I'm starting to see more and more AE problems...

Ran in to a team with several members that didn't know where Crey's Folly was, didn't know the difference between Train Lines...

The worst example yet in my experience was from some helpless person I was futily attempting to solo Jurassik. I see a broadcast in Crey's Folly

"I've been killing enemies for 30 minutes and my 'Hunt Crey' number wont go down! What's a Crey??"

My heart got saddened, a lot.

Then there was the broadcast (also in Crey's) "Can someone help me?"
Me: "Sure, what do you need?"
Person: "Come to Crey's Folly first so we can team"

    Ugh.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I had someone last night who was it Atlas and didnt know how to get to Steel Canyon to change their costume. Numerous broadcasts told the person ( who was around level 30ish ) how to get there either through the door or taking the train. They STILL couldnt find it.. apparently the only two things they knew was the AE building and the Atlas statue. Didnt even know how to pull up the map...

I sent an invite to team telling them I would show them where the door is.. They rejected the invite... yet still asking in broadcast how to get to the tailor.. I tried this two more times telling them take the invite and I will show them where it is..

They rejected it two more times while yelling.. I dont want to do any AE missions right now...

I have never seen anything in 5 years that has messed this game up as quickly as AE has...

    [/ QUOTE ]

I just hate that I can't get any normal teams anymore...unless I lead them.

I hate leading, but I have to do it these days

    SD/DM: Amazing

My Shield/DM just hit 38 last night

All I can say is, this is the only character I've had that I have trouble putting down at the end of the day.

I just spec'd out of Shadow Maul though, I'm seeing if I like Smite better on my stamina-less tank that is totally reliant on when OwTS recharges and when Dark Consumption comes back.

Also, Midnight Grasp, or whatever my lvl 38 power is really named, is really cool.
  8. hehe, I'll keep that in mind

I can't wait to finally put up a screenshot and finally feel ebil
  9. Be warned, this is meaningless.

My ice tanker, who I've since giving up playing entirely, became my marketeer, and is flipping mercilessly.

So far, i'm still in the hundreds of millions, but flipping miracle +recovs when you get them low is lucrative for sure.

There's an abominable snowman in the market...
and it may just be me!

I respect a Tanker's decision not to use Stamina (I think they're foolish for not but in the end, it's your $15/mo).

    [/ QUOTE ]

My shield/dm doesn't use stamina! I've got Dark Consumption, a miracle +recov, several other set bonuses, and OwTS when I need end! So far it's worked swimmingly!
(But I also had to have a pre-respec build and a respec build)
  11. So my character "Pool Boy" with 4 powers from Medicine, Stealth, Speed, Fitness is gimp!

At least I warn people of my awkward build

...I wonder what the least played secondary is?

On a Defender? I'd vote Energy Blast.

    I was hoping that wouldn't come up...sigh

    Oil slick + fire

    1. no, it'll only light once per use
    2. I see some guys still fall down, don't know if that is intended or not.
    3. Base duration I *believe* is 30 seconds, generally it's a good idea to stall before lighting, and I've heard lighting resets the duration (Though in this case you may lose the knockdown during the burning)
    4. It slows the enemies a bit, but generally, they are falling over, so it isn't the most prominent effect, glue arrow serves the slow much better.
  14. -7.5% feels like a pitiful amount on a rad/rad, Radiation infection should be all you need *shrug*

Chance to hold sounds good, assuming the mag is enough to be meaningful (I have no experience with hold procs)
  15. Best TF I ran had 4 defenders, we were a steamroller.

And...looks like I'll be making a sonic defender. Yep yep... Sonic...something, I wonder what the least played secondary is?
  16. Does the same apply to True Grit?
  17. I've got a miracle +recov, where do I put it? I hear they last forever in auto powers like health and true grit, but my friend said his numina unique only works when he loads a new map.

    Which is true?

    Invul/Nrgy Tank

I'm fairly sure at the very least Whirling Hands can be used while hovering. No experience with TF.
  19. I would like my secondary to help me control, or debuff.

I guess that means storm or rad
  20. Help me forumites.

I have every controller, sans grav, up in the 30s and I at least find some enjoyment in each of the sets. But Grav, I just don't understand it, what am I missing? I'm setting up a project gravity character, what pairs well? I need any advice I can get, I've looked at guides, so I have a -basic- idea.

    Thanks

Never tried the combo myself, but that is all i hear about it.

    Mind idea

As I said, I don't think mind needs any changes at all, I just thought I'd put my idea out there.

I love Mind to death, it's the only controller I've tolerated to 50, and I wouldnt change it, to be honest I like to see more powers added to all the sets so we can have sort of a "kheldian selection" type thing. Lots of powers open up at various levels, leading to more different builds.
  23. I've got a cold/rad in virtue, duoing with my friend's cold/sonic.

We're level 38, just keep a look out for Reactor 4 or Drunken Singing. If you need some cold awesome? we're the team you want.

    Mind idea

    [ QUOTE ]
Not wanting to rain on your parade, but...

This idea has cropped up quite a few times over the years. It's an interesting one, but runs into a few key sticking points.

    * The confused pet would have to suddenly adopt a pet-like AI so it could follow you around. I can't see the dev's wanting to code all that for one power, since it raises lots of fun questions like 'what happens to the AI when it wears off?'

    * It'd come at the expense of something Mind already has, which would mean making significant changes to people's already-existing characters.

    * Mind has done fine without a pet for years now.

The concensus usually comes out as 'it's nice having a set that doesn't have a pet, if you want a pet for a controller pick any one of the other sets'

Illusion works very well for the psychic-types who want a pet.

I think I got the general summary of how these posts usually work out. Let see if this one goes in any different direction.

    [/ QUOTE ]

yeah, I figured it had come up, it must have, you know?

As far as "what happens when it where's off" it would have the duration of a typical spawned pet, inability to create 2 etc.

    *shrug*
