Ninja Mastermind with Trick Arrow. [error: wrong archetype]
But really...
Ice primary is really interesting. Almost controllery.
I suggest rolling a random toon. Random.org has a good generator. Nine primaries and Six secondaries. Even if you roll a turd, and none are really that bad, you'll learn about it while you research a build.
I personally think a Rad/Elec would be neat. I'll try it later. If nothing else it will have personality. -

I didn't read all the other pages of people saying the same thing I'm going to say, just the first and last.
I get great names all the time. I alt and delete, making around 12 toons a month. I meet people with one word names and say to them, "How on earth did you get that name this late in the game?" and they say "I have no idea."
I have Ink Girl, Candyjet, Servant of the Sword, Princess of Slush, etc etc. That said, I'm sure if I wanted Tomorrow Lad or SuperGrrl or something, it would be taken.
I'm about to make a Mastermind with the name Ranger [female first name] Aquarius. It won't be taken, and people will be able to remember it.
I think people being able to remember it is more important than it describing the powerset. People remember Candyjet [current avatar] and when DCed will easily contact me. I have a guy I team with often, and I couldn't tell you how to spell his name Brysomething.
I saw a pixie type named "Blind Invites Only" in Talos's Went's yesterday. How is that still available?
Edited to add: I love the tag "name whiners ftl" someone put on this. -
Wiki says it's discontinued.
Quote:Invisibility would be cool, but stealth...I dunno...seems weak. 30 sec is pretty short.Conceal: Self Stealth
Conceal grants you Stealth for 30 seconds. You can only be seen at very close range. If you attack while Concealed, you will be discovered. Conceal offer no defense bonus. (Removed from the game.) -

He doesn't bubble you because he's a bigot.
There, I said it. -
They aren't Lost. Lost are mutated and you help them get back. Rikti are aliens. You can't cure them of that.
Meanwhile, Lost Wand sucks. IMO. -

Proc is working. Getting neg damage, twice, each activation. The lowest I got was in the sixties and the highest was 260, but that was against some poor tsoo on the side of the road. The sixty was more my level.

Quote:Some of my big guys I made use it liberally:I LOVE the Valkyrie parts.
Here, I used the shoulders, belt, and cape, for one of my favorite PBs, Anti-Body.
I don't know what he meant by 'goofy'.
I DO love some of the things I can do with these parts.
Core Lysium:
Unfortunately with some armor cast on him by some damn spammer.
Core Corridium:
Both since deleted. They were just too big as Huge body types with max physique and tallness. -

I recently got a Lady Grey: Change of Negative recipe and decided to craft and keep it. I slotted it into Freezing Rain. It's supposed to have a 20% chance of neg, and I figured with as many hits as FR gets, it would be all over the place.
I don't see it. Wouldn't it be a differnt number than the rain damage? Look different?
I decided to keep it because, even though it sells for 2.5m crafted, it doesn't sell but once a month.
Would it be better to trash it? If it's not doing anything? -
Quote:Recently I've found that a Stalker is not a Scrapper. Total invis at lev 1 is crazy good. Also, you can get to the big fort in Granville and get a raptor pack at ONE.My "main" is a fire/fire blaster
Ultimately I'd like to have at least one of each AT but predict that at least half of the toons I end up with will be blasters of some sort lol
Thank you!
I'm planning a Robot/Pain/Shark mastermind. Yeah, I'm an altaholic. But helps when creepy guys get the whole a/s/l thing going. Just go to another character.
I've never played a Defender and don't like playing Tanks, though I like their powers. Both are too much responsibility. Sure, my controller has a big responsibility, but she totally rules.
Re: FBZ packs
I've taken a team of level 2's over after they noticed in the sewer that I could fly. We swam until we got to the arena and then it was a "Stay in the MIDDLE of the road" chanting session as we jogged single file past a War Hulk with Behemoths in sight. Also, none had money, but I had around 200k so I just treated. They were so dorky in the Portal plaza on the way out. Like bees. I like helping people. -
Quote:Everyone's already said it, but macros and binds can really make it for healing and buffing. Putting select team member 3, tell him to stand still while you heal him, and heal him all on Numpad3 is a bind I've seen. For more flexibility, make a macro [button] you can move from tray to tray. I move powers around based on situation.Thank all of you very much! The one thing about this game that I find most impressive has nothing to do with the game but the community. I'm sure the game has it's share but I have yet to see the random argument over one of the chat channels or someone getting into a flame war on the forums. In fact the one "argument" I've seen over the forums was one of the most civil disagreements I've ever read/heard.
The community is good. Champion blue side is the most friendly I've ever seen. I have two neglected toons there. Liberty is very professional and all about TFs. I'm mostly on Freedom, which is full of activity, but 1/4 of the teams I get on are messed up, even when half are people I've worked with before. It only takes one toon not knowing their role to screw it up.
Even simple cheap IOs can help out. Some of the first IO enhancements I get are the Entropics which just two give a 10% increase to hp regeneration.
There's a post around here, you can find it in the guides, about rolling a totally random toon. I recommend doing this to learn about the different archetypes and powers. Use the guides/posts here and Mids to get a build going. I take lots of toons to the low 20s and then park them.
If you're from WoW, I'm sure you're fond of our travel powers. I've watched many YouTube of raids in WoW where the raid is preceded by 5 minutes of a single file line walking. For even better travel, I suggest picking up the booster packs for Door Teleport and Pocket-D teleport. At 25, you can get Oro portal and by logging in Wentworth's you can get a tp that will take you to any of the four.
Edited to add: And a well stocked SG will have teleporters to nearly every zone. Get to Perigrine Island at lev 2 once you get 10k inf and pick up a raptor pack in Fire Base Zulu. Woot. [get the 10k by selling the insp from Outbreak training]
And if you haven't played with one before, I recommend a fire blaster. Fireball FTW.
Wow, major OT ramble. But good to have you here, man. -

I've read and read the bind guides and I'm not seeing anything like what I'm looking for.
I want to be able to Follow to the targeted teammate and give them a wakie. I'd like this to be one one key so the actions would be like.
1. I select teammate with a key or by click which has nothing to do with my desired macro/bind.
2. I hit the button and my toon runs over to the teammate.
3. Once there, I hit the same button preferably, but another would be fine, and I give them the wakie. This keypress would also toggle off follow.
From what I've seen, activating follow is as simple as putting the word into the bind. I'm not sure if it can be powexectoggleoff.
And I didn't see anything about "givetarget awaken" [I made that givetarget up, but you understand.]
Thanks in advance. -
I consider the Superscience booster to be the weakest. No powers except having the tailor able to change body types/genders for you. I'm not fond of the frocks, and despite my attempt to make a toon who would need rubber boots, I can't.
The breathers and goggles are OK. Maverick goggles are cool, but I can't figure out a good toon theme to stick them on.
I get more use out of Wedding. -
Witch Tight Boots and Fortune are worth the $10 to me. Sure, we didn't get a Pocket-D teleport in this one but if you remember to throw Fortune on someone it can make a big difference to them/the team.
I don't go for the goofy wing stuff though or the witch hats.
More of anything costume wise is desired on my part. And if it's not stock, I prefer to pay and get it on all characters rather than have to earn it. You can't get the ITF stuff at level 1. -

Quote:Quit playing COH.Unfortunately, I expect that getting the crafter accolade would take several hours at least. It's a comparatively large up-front investment of time, since I'm planning on spending maybe 2-3 hours each month playing.
Unless there's a reasonable way to buy all the salvage in one trip, drag it to the university and buy/craft/delete all the necessary common IOs, this seems like a huge resource drain for no real reward.
