  1. Congrats.

And, this is just something I noticed about myself and I might be wrong, with allegedly no visual cues...Are you in SC?
  2. Write down the one that was working so you don't forget it. Find another one. When that dries up or goes upside down, remember it too and check the one(s) you used before, if they suck, find another.

I've had good luck with triples and damage/recharges. You can do resistance but for little gains.

Always best to work at the highest level of the IO. Or so it seems to me.

I think it's easy once you have a password to log on. At least one of the users needs to do this. Do something like 1234 or eieio or something. Once you do that, putting some secure on you, Win will let you ditch that crap.
  4. Another thing about Trina in Pocket-D, and this may be true for the tailor in RWZ too, but you can change your look at any level. I think P-D transporter unlocks at 3.
  5. Subjective opinion:
I really dig my katana/wp and can solo with her, though that takes a long time when you're loaded on acc and def rather than damage.

    I've stopped playing my spine/wp

I'm also a wp junkie. My few tanks are wp/ and my few scrappers are /wp. I want wp blasters.

You don't get deja vus because you have had it happen before. It's a memory read/write error of you brain where it reads the memory being stored as it is being stored, thus making you think that it is a previously stored memory.

However, he might keep saying the same thing. But that's not deja vu.

Really? All the 6.25's out there get the 5 treatment...They have the same name?
  8. At 35, take. Unless you have better stuff on your plate. You only have five more powers left, so think about it.

I wouldn't take it when it first comes around as you won't use it early unless you have a backpack full of end insp.
  9. Katana because the more you can hit with divine avalanche the more melee/lethal def you have. A few slots and it's easy to keep over 60% at all times, if you slot something like GC so it's pegged on acc and pop a yellow and purple befor rushing a spawn. You can't be hit with some enemies. Ritki is not one of those, unfortunately.

I was running +1/x8 yesterday and being slaughtered by the Rikti until an ill/ controller came and helped keep the aggro off me. And this is after I ran by AE and bought 15 def insp.

I know nothing about Dark melee unfortunately. And I found BS slow. I felt like Frankenstein.
  10. I'd beat virtual baby harp seals in this game while NPC's cried if it got me 1k inf each hit.

If it got me more inf, I'd stab other toons in the eye as they browsed at WW.

    What was the question again?
  11. Lightning Storm from ill/ controller is a pb-click pet.
  12. What you're going to do is get rid of what you don't need and get what you need through Wentworth's. It's not like work, it's like shopping. Some people like it and use it to make money [I've made 2b off it. *pats own back*]

    1. Go to the market area of these forums and read peterpeter's WW guide.
    2. Go sell everything you have, or do step three first and then step two.
    3. Download Mids and figure out what you need in those powers. Recharge is great, but not if you run out of endurance since you're so much faster, etc. Make yourself powerful and balanced.
    4. Buy the stuff you need. Get the recipes first and try to avoid a BUY-IT-NAO! attitude. You're going to log off for the night anyway, let the bid sit for the night. You'd be amazed what happens in 24 hrs.
    5. get the salvage. Don't worry 1m isn't that much and there's no salvage that's commonly used over 2m.
    6. Crafting table in the SC college. Then slot what you got.

I have plenty of money so I'll optimize my favorite toons every five or so levels. It takes a day, but they rule after that.

If you haven't slotted well, and I reccomend frankenslotting for bonus and percent improvement, you're probably playing with a toon that's about 1/3 of how powerful it can be.

And don't forget there are special enh that can give you knockback protection, or +3 to all your defenses, or, the king of overpriced enh that I lust for Luck of the Gambler +7.5% global recharge.

Remember the rules of fives. Any bonuses with the same numbers can only happen five times. So you can put in five LotG7.5, but if you have another 7.5rech bonus, from LotG or something else, one doesn't happen.

If you want real-time help, join the_market channel. There's always [mostly] someone on that will help. Though sometimes we're in battles, etc.

    Good to have you.

[ETA: Holy crap, two posts while I was typing.]
  13. And don't forget, you can go back to the contact and drop the mission but get credit for it [but only once every three days.]

If I were you, I'd make a team. But I do this all the time, and really, in Atlas, making a team of lowbies is super easy.

I'd get a controller. Plant would be my most desired, followed by fire. Sometimes there'll be a higher level toon who'll babysit, healing your team. I've done this once and felt it was thankless, actually.

At low lev, I always hop on a sewer team. You'll fight the valshlock [or whatever] then Lost. I've gone in as a 1 and come out as a 10 before, but we had a team that really responded to each other.

And, if you're having trouble low, I'm guessing your broadsword, and definately not claw or katana.

    Good to have you here.

Another thing you might want to do, get to Pocket-D and do some Ganymede missions to get the toga and sandals. It's only at Valentines.

Oh, and you can still pull even if you aren't a blaster by using your Apprentice Charm or other temp power. I always go Magic because AC is a dinky power that does big stuff. Lowers their def and dam by 20% for 10 seconds. As a scrapper, 10 seconds is a long time.

OH, and only slot accuracy at this point.
  14. Those are some great boots too.

  15. Expanding on answer 2, you get the credit for the hits as it is a weapon of yours, doing your bidding. And that said, I think that while it's a great aggro sponge for a while, but when it expires, that aggro goes to you. [right?]

Fieldcrafter badge would be handy, but isn't it a nightmare to get?
You find niches and work those. Sometimes they go upside down and you waste slots for a week trying to sell these things that normally sold overnight, if not in hours. In that case, I usually try to break even and get with another niche. I have about seven reliable ones and I was hammering them when a goal of mine was to hit 1b.

I could make about 50m on a good night and around 10m on a crappy night. Per toon doing it. I had two who were neck in neck after about 500m or so.

I decided to wait on fieldcrafter since I figure it'll cost around 200+m to craft all that unwanted crap and about 5 days of my playing time.

    Stamina?

With QR from WP there is NO need to get Stamina.

That said, my katana/wp has both. How am I going to spam Divine Avalanche and get my melee/lethal def over 100%, all the while not slotting a single endred [except where sets force it]?

Also, getting to stamina, you take health, another redundant power. At level 25, I'd generate 17hp/sec w/o RttC activated.

I am more a tank than tanks are. But...slotted for that...I'm kinda slow for a scrap.
