    Dual Pistols

Yeah, why does it need to be said?
  2. More costume pieces with prices 10x-20x higher than what they are.

Enable Personal Lairs, like an SG, but just for the toons on an account. Functions the same, but just with inf. Lots of couches and other stupid stuff.

    Ridiculously expensive customized weapons.

Topless mode for females costs 16b, only visible to user and others who have bought it.

Droppable items which have physical representations on the ground. So I can cover acres with Regenerating Flesh. [but this actually doesn't work, but would be fun]

No, wings are bought at Wentworth's Consignment.
  4. I used to beta test for PS2 games. It sucked. Twisted Metal Black Online was OK. But ugh, most games blow and even fun ones you feel you're doing work, because you are, under some misguided idea that getting to play the next Ratchet and Clank [which I missed out on] six months early while it's buggy as hell will be fun.

But this may be totally different.

I might have friended him. I remember the name, Smoof Like Baby.

Mine are colored white/orange, like the default fire coloring.
  6. Went in to transfer my toon's money, save her costume, and then delete her. While in Pocket-D, I was asked to join a pug. I did and warned them that I was energy^2 and I'd try to control the kb.

Half through the first mish I asked if her kb was irritating/ridiculous. The tank responded that it wasn't a big deal as they were just crashing into walls [warehouse mish] and it wasn't irritating him. Another person said it was fun.

    I'm not deleting her.
  7. I notice you have no fire/ blaster and no ill/ controller.

The ill/ controller is very soloable after 16. Then it just gets more pets from there.

If you go the fire/ blaster, to be soloable I'd have to say go with /EM though I personally have not been fond of it.

WP/electric tanks are mucho fun. And I have been wanting to make a TA/Archery Def, though I'm not sure it'd be good with my play style.

    And Katana/WP ftw.

I think I'm going to wait until Thursday to start my useless thread about Going Rogue existing. Maybe say something about "What are the new costume pieces?"
  9. 1. Wow, you guys really care about this crap.

    2. [related to WW as NPC buyer] In Atlas, run to near Ms. Lib. In SC, jump down to the Mutant store. In KR, jump up to the main square. In Talos, run northwest, taking the second road on the west side. Also, w/o the ability to buy lev 50 DOs and SOs for 3k and sellign them at NPC for 14k, how is a new toon supposed to get started w/o mooching from a sugardady.

    3. To demonstrate my hypocracy, see point 1.
  10. Wow, great discussion over the weekend.

As for herding to the tank, that's kind of lame. And while I personally love it when we pull around a corner, it just doesn't happen much. I run into more "fast tanks" than I do pull-to-corner teams.

I admit, she rocks at solo. But I don't really like solo.

I've not been kicked and I've not been told not to play. I've had that happen with a fire/ controller and an ill/ controller.

    I"m not abandoning her...yet.

The only adapting of a team to me that I've ever done is announce to the team that I'm an ill/storm, a Lord of Chaos, when joining a team. Usually I get a person asking what that means.

And, after posting this and saying I never see and energy/ blaster, I teamed with one this weekend. Even though I'm katana/wp and depend on RttC and DA for surviability, everything was cool. He didn't operate like a master, but to me it's no biggie. I do have an F button on my keyboard.
  11. It seems like everyone on teams hates her. They don't say as much, but they also tend to stay really quiet so I think that some are talking using PMs.

I realize my toon's kb is annoying, and she's not powerful enough to kill what she knocks back...

Has anyone ever had an energy^2 they used in teams and didn't just abandon?

I never see this AT around [though she's fun, but not when I'm focused on what I pain I'm being to the team]
  12. I'm hoping they give us the ability to right click and delete cheap crap so we don't have to go to the NPC or WW to get rid of it.

  13. THEY'LL EMAIL US.

Aside: did you notice the female hero in the email sent out yesterday was just wearing parts of the Valkyrie costume, but in gray and black. I'd think they'd show off some of the new duds.
  14. To further muddy the waters, some enemies are weak to certain damage types. Also, if you don't have mez protection on one of the toons and the other does...

And, of course, death is bad xp.
  15. I get invited to farm on a regular basis with two of my toons. I'm usually hanging out at the WW in Talos and get invited to a BM in PI.

But only two characters. Trixi Chalk who's team seeking message is "katana/wp ftw" and Candyjet who's is "ill/storm controller."

I think it's a combo of the name and the info in the text. The few times I've joined it has been a very cohesive team and they just wanted to get some variety along. When we've gotten down to four or so, they'd start recruiting randomly, or with someone saying "Get an ice something" and didn't really care who it was or what lev as long as they'd have some good powers.
  16. Hoo, buddy!

    /e dance5

    Ooh ooh ooh.
  17. I'm not sure if this is global or just in Windows, etc, but in Windows you can set up, or it might be set up, so that it's in "handicapped/old people mode" where you'd have to hold a key for a few seconds to get it to start repeating.

Not sure if that's right in this case, or in any case, but I felt I needed to throw that out.

I own a G11 but my old Microsoft Natural also had no problem. I just got the G11 for the extra keys and functions and whatnot, which I haven't used a bit of in the half year I've had it.

    New Ranged IOs?

I read on a marketing thread where a person mentioned offhandedly that ranged would be getting another IO set.

Is that the full skinny on this, or do we know more?
  19. I've got a elec/elec that, due to some powers, requires me to get into melee range. I'm not a blapper and don't want to be, but he doesn't suck at it either. Though, that wouldn't match your DP idea.

    Wait for DP.

But, if you want melee with a little range going on, I think Claws has a power that starts with F [or S, I'm not looking it up] that has around 12 feet. Also, Claws rules. But not as much as katana, imo.

I thought we couldn't go to a tailor until 20. Eight months and I never tried.

While getting across SC at very low level is hard, getting across PI at a very low lev is not that hard, then get a raptor pack and getting across SC is easy.
  21. Congrats.

    Man, them's some boots.

    But, yeah, monocle up.
  22. Zephyr, if memory serves, is great for defense. And the -kb would just be gravy.

Depending on it's level, it might sell pronto.

I guess I'm not clervoiant...or...able to locate virtual locations by seeing no visual cues. Just seemed the camera was facing north at midday in SC.
