Players who want costume bits that are free and easy to combine to create their toon concepts have a gigantic, whopping pile of freely available costume bits, and they've had them for years.
Players who want some earned costume bits have a very small handful of such bits.
For players in the first group, with their giant pile o' available bits, to point at those in the second group, with their small handful of bits, and shout "OMG NOT FAIR GIMME YOUR BITS!"....that's just greedy.
It's a big game - there's room for everybody to get a little bit of what they want. When it's time for somebody besides you to get that little bit, just smile and be happy for them. -

In addition to some of the things already mentioned, I like the Incarnate Shard drop rate in PvP. It's nice to have at least one reward structure in PvP that is nearly on par with rewards in PvE so that my PvP toons can actually progress by doing what they do best, without any fruitcake abstractions that make smart play a barrier to earning rewards (like the PvPIO drop rules).

Same issue on my Earth/Energy dom. 50, Entrusted w/ the Secret, and I own Going Rogue. Only one open story arc. Ramiel won't give me the arc, and no resolution yet.

The worst build I ever saw was a team mate during a PUG.
She was a "dedicated healorz" who had all the Empathy primaries and only one from her Secondaries. Now, I can live with that. I have made a dedicated team healer myself on occasion.
However, my Empath never took anything from the Medicine Power Pool... much less ALL the powers from that pool.
She also took all four travel powers.
The others in the team ragged her about her build so long she ended up quitting the team, as I recall.
