Pious

Having learnt the whereabouts and intended destination of the escaping trio, Pious jumped through space and landed back in Talos Island. His instincts lead him across the island as he teleported from one place to another in search of the suspect truck. Gradually, his search draws closer and close to the port.

"Aaaaaargh!" screamed the troll, his voice dying off as he crash landed into the gulch. "Please! No more. Okay, I tell you. I tell you!" he screamed, shielding his face with one arm, the other quite clearly broken in several places. "Atta say troll change world. Rogue Isles troll attack Paragon City soon! Troll work with Thorns and Troll kill all hero. Hero biggest bully. Troll kill all hero. Is all I know, please. Is all I know. Troll bring New World, no more hero. You go now, please. You go now!"

That is pretty much why I once ate a large snake. It had attacked me so I had it hunted down and cooked. Tasted more like chicken than rodent, though.

"Atta say troll rule whole world. Rogue Isles troll work hard now, say Atta. They plan with Rogue Island terrorist to kill all hero. Hero biggest bully, so we change world now. No more hero. Okay, I go now please. I tell whole plan finish. Head hurt now" he pleaded, having truly admitted all that he knew.

Blood rushing through his body, pulsating down into his head and gushing out of his broken nose, the troll begged to be released. "Pwesh, ogay, pwesh" he chocked, gurgling on his own blood. "Atta shay he change world, Atta shay he change world!" he managed, pleading to be let down. "I say more if let down, let down! Pwesh put down, pweesh."

"Me not answer!" screamed the juiced-up troll, his breath contaminated with a burning gaseous stench. "Me not fear hero!"

((Sorry, I probably should have made a post explaining this, but I wanted to keep it secret until it's too late for the bad guys to react. Pious is tailing the escaping trio by sneaking through their own wormholes. As simultaneously, the spined heroine is tailing the truck. Are the trio retreating to Boomtown?))

A powerful gravitational barrier smacked Pious full on, slowly slipping into another dimension. The giant's first reaction was an outburst of rage. His violent assault on the barrier shook the very earth beneath him but yielded no obvious results. Eventually, the man calmed down and began to shrink rapidly. As his medula oblongata returned to normal size, Pious was once again able to think clearly. He focused on using his current predicament to his advantage and quickly shifted powers. In the blink of an eye, he jerked forwards through the dimensional cage and was gone.

Ah, must've not understood you the first time, hehe.

As the brute fell, Pious leapt to the air and brought down a heavy elbow to finish him off, followed by a relentless barrage of ground shattering blows. Unconscious or not, Pious was determined to maim and disfigure, if only to pass on that all-important message of fear.

As Pious continued to enlarge, his trainers buckled under his weight and snapped apart. Towering over Wrecking Ball, a look of disdain washed over his face, his anger fueling his rage all the more. "Didn't your old hag of a mother teach you any manners, boy?" Pious boomed, his giant fist flashed up into the air and came crashing down with lightening speed, towards the armoured brute. The sheer force would've overloaded an already poisoned energy shield.

As the ground shook from Wrecking Ball's impact, the large hero quickly accessed the situation. He was faced with a gravity shifter, an energy shifter, an energy brawler and an accomplice inside a truck full of canisters. By his side was a skilled heroine whom he'd never met. "Hey lady, listen. I don't know what went on here but I'm involved now, right. The name's Pious and I got'a warn yah, there's goin'a be alot'ah blood spillin' out'ah these muppets, right, startin' with that one. I seen that yah real good at fightin' and can't be hurt, so I ain't gonna be too concerned when the sh*t hits the fan, yeah? Yah ready t'do this?"

A young man with dark skin flew onto the roof where the hero had been and lifted the car with practiced ease. He descended to street level and gently placed the car on the roadside. A young woman rushed over to him screaming abuse. "Get away from my car! What did you do?" but he simply scowled and turned away, heading straight into the conflict. His white sneakers seemed to expand, the shoelaces snapping off as the man's feet doubled in size. While his black denim jeans held, his t-shirt ripped and tore. Toned muscle flexed and expanded as he continued towards the brutal Wrecking Ball. In one cool motion, he seized his red baseball cap and turned it about, to face backwards. "Oi!" he screamed, taunting for the brute's attention. His mild cockney accent ringing through every word. "Far as I know, proper'e damage is an arrestable offense. Na' we can do this easy or 'ard, but you my friend, are coming down, right?"

Well then sorry, I didn't mean to. In the OP I asked the question simply because it concerns us all. Otherwise I'd not have bothered.

I think what Omy is trying to say is that just jumping into non-unionverse stories with his unionverse characters doesn't sit right with him or doesn't make sense to him. Immersion and continuity and all that. I'm guessing, like me, he will simply refrain from doing so and stick with unionverse threads which we now agree will be clearly marked as such. I'll be working on one over the weekend (forum rp with linked union server events) so... watch this space!
