1 minute 53 seconds.
Dev is talking about giving power customizations to players.
And we see a Hero with a cool Super Jump FX. Power pools customization in GR?
Although that character has the PToD around him, so... dunno. Maybe he got some Incarnate levels? -

Virtue imploded earlier. We should be good for the red side Hami raids tonight.
-
Must be a new Hamidon tactic... He sends a Mito or 2 to attack the server.
Oh well, will be back later. -
I should be there, probably with Doktor Smashemgud.

Quote:On Virtue, The Volunteers... since 2004, May 15th.Hey all,
I was having a conversation around the water cooler the other day with one of the Devs and we were talking about Super Groups (and Villain groups of course!) and he asked me about SGs that have been around since launch. Now normally Im the go to guy for this kind of random trivia about our players, but it occurred to me I only know a couple and now Im curious!
So what SGs have been around since launch, and are any still led by the same people? Please speak up and let me know!
On Virtue, The Supremacy Squad... since 2005, October 29th
Same leader since the beginning... me -
Since I have the game presently, I will pre-order "digitally" The GR separate expansion. Enter the code (like for any booster packs), and will be able to make Dual Pistols in March, and Demon Summoning in April.
Come July, I will "upgrade" to Complete Collection to have the emotes, costumes, etc. I would guess upgrading the Separate Expansion to Complete Collection will be around the booster pack prices (around 10 bucks). Again, this will be done digitally. No box, no nothing, simply enter the code. -
In your contacts list, you should have Ashley McKnight in Cap au Diable. Do her arcs till you get access to the Midnight Club. From there you can get to Cimerora.
And welcome back to the game. -
Here what happened on my end:
- I was playing a Tanker, when people on channels reported on channels that Nerva was attacked. So I switched to a Brute and headed for Nerva right away.
- When I arrived, I could not see any Dropships in the sky. Some people reported that Dropships had different routes in other zones, but in Nerva I saw none.
- There was Bombs on the ground, and Rikti were teleporting. It was the 2 waves at the same time with still no Dropships but there was the shaking screen from the bombings.
- People reported patrol of Rikti moving around although I saw none. Everyone rapidly gathered together near the Trainers.
- Then it was as usual as Rikti were teleporting. Heavy Assault Suits started to spawn when enough villains were present.
- Then at some point after 5-10 minutes of fighting, ambushes started to arrive from all sides. Big Ambushes of Rikti Priests and Heavy Assault Suits. There was no "wipe" in Nerva, and everyone was safe unless you started to wander alone.
- At some point, a Master-at-Arms attacked us with troops. He got dispatched quickly. More Ambushes, then another Master-at-Arms.
- Everyone attacking a Master-at-Arms got a golden title (Rogue Isles' Defender).
- And toward the end, everyone spotted an orange name in our midst; Qugin. Selecting him showed he was a Stalker. Everyone screaming Rikti Spy and started to chase him. He was eventually defeated but it turned out it was a bug of some sort (that was confirmed by Niviene).
- Eventually, we got the event message that Rikti left Nerva. -
When I heard about the invasion, I switched to my "Rikti-killer" Ohmicide, an Elec/Elec Brute and headed to Nerva. Bombs and Rikti at the same time and then the usual standoff... but many Rikti were attacking with big waves of Rikti Priests and Assault Suits.
I suspect I was targetted at some point. After a few taunts in broadcast like: "Bring it on, Pik'O'Cho! Send more Rikti!", I instantly died hehe.
After a few Master-at-Arms, everyone spotted in our midst an orange name: Qugin. He was a stalker, and with a name like that everyone started screaming Rikti spy. We killed him but apparently it was a bug of some sort. Still it was funny.
Everyone present got a golden title too: Rogue Isles' Defender. -

Sewers? Bah! I'm sitting atop the highest skyscraper to make sure I will be the first to spot the Rikti Mothership and smash it!

Quote:There is an amount of $ limit and number of transactions limit per day, or something like that, for a 24 hours period. That must be your problem. Try again in a day or so.Hi all.
I'm trying to purchase the valkyrie (mac) pack and the cyborg pack from the store. Last night, I successfully bought both a month of time and the martial arts pack. Using my second, unused debit card, I tried to purchase the valkyrie and cyborg packs, but was given this error:
"We're sorry, but we are unable to accept your order at this time. Please try again later or tomorrow. If you continue to have problems, you may wish to visit one of our retail partners."
That was last night at 10 P.M. I tried again later, a few hours later. No go. I tried again just now at 5:17 P.M. No go.
How do I resolve this? -

Quote:Very interesting. We aslo know that Demons in GR have moving tails... so we might not be far from having moving tails for our characters indeed.Small, but maybe interesting - especially as it seems the lead animator is involved rather than Sexy Jay - so that might mean some sort of animated tails are being worked on - maybe even part of the mutant booster pack?

Quote:You can always come to regular raids in the meantime too. Might be easier to learn the ropes before the Nuke Raid. Regular raids are as follow:I'd like to try this since I've never been on a Hamidon Raid (although I guess that might make me a liability). I believe I have the nukes already and enough Vanguard merits for a HVAS, but I don't have a Shivan or any EoE inspirations. I know how to get the Shivan, so I will work on that, but what's the best way to get a bunch of EoE inspirations?
HERO SIDE:
- Saturday at 6pm est / 3pm pst
- Monday at 8pm est / 5pm pst
- Wednesday at 8pm est / 5pm pst
VILLAIN SIDE:
- Sunday at 6pm est / 3pm pst
- Tuesday at 8pm est / 5pm pst
Very often, people start arriving one hour before the raid, and the zone limit is often reached before the raid time. So plan accordingly. -
Quote:1- Date circled![FONT=Arial]
Things you need to do:
1- Clear out your agenda for that date, use a red marker and circle the date 3 times
2- Gather all 3 WB nukes, in advance. If you go get those nukes 3 hours before the event, you can be sure, the zone will be filled with pvper camping you. Nukes are best soloed early in the morning or late at night. If you have issue soloing those nukes or have no idea how to, pst me on @xeaon, or ask a friend. (1 nuke can be as fast as 11Min, therefore 3 of em, take about 33min)
3- Attend a few MS raid to get Vanguard merits, and trade for an HVAS.
4- Get Shivans in BB.
5- Show up in advance!
6- Turn your gfx to commodore 64 level.
2- Got the 3 Nukes already!
3- Got Vanguard Merits for an army of HVAS!
4- Got Shivans already!
5- Always!
6- Never! My GTX295 laugh at Commodore 64! -

Quote:I'm not tech saavy, so where does the e-GeForce 9800 GX2 SSC Edition falls exactly? Thanks. If you are looking to spend under US$100, then an NVidia 9800 GT is your best bet. For AMD (ATI/Radeon), we dont have enough of these cards at this price point to get you good data. This would be the minimum card for enabling all the features, only at reduced quality settings.
If you are looking to spend between $100 and $200, the Radeon HD 4890 and GeForce GTX 260 will do you well. We dont have numbers from the Radeon 57xx series yet to verify if that is better or worse though. This would end up somewhere in the middle of Ultra-mode quality.
Finally if you are going to spend over $200, the GeForce GTX 285 is an excellent choice. We dont have numbers from the Radeon 58xx series yet. This would be able to run Ultra-mode with the quality maxed out (except we have no data on Anti-aliasing, so caveat emptor when it comes to that specific feature).
