6 Lambda Runs... 6 Successes.
- 38 Threads from kills.
- 2 Common Components (Reward Tables)
- 3 Uncommon Components (2 from Reward Tables, one coming from Synchronized badge).
- 1 Rare Component (Reward Table).
- 1 Very Rare Component (Reward Table).
- 25 Astral Merits (1 extra from "re-getting" the Synchronized badge).
- 1 Empyrean Merit.
- Interface Unlocked.
- Destiny at 23%.
the 2 Commons and 3 Uncommons are technically worth 220 Threads. My 25 Astrals and 1 Empyrean can be converted to 120 Threads. So I got this afternnon the equivalent of 278 Threads... plus 1 Rare and 1 Very Rare components. -
That's an odd bug I though was resolved. It was happening a lot at some point. I remembered getting the "you have quit your team" during a Virgil Tarikoss Strikeforce. But that was like more than a year ago.
-
That was changed a while ago. Ninja Run and Beast are working in the Incarnate Trials, as well as Mystic Fortune and Secondary Mutation. I'm not 100% sure but I think the Veteran Powers are working in the Trials too.

Quote:Snow Globe on Triumph has Captain Kaboom, a blaster.I'd rather they keep things just the way they are, and continue to encourage creativity in naming. People that complain about "all the good names being taken" just aren't trying very hard.
Photonstorm on Virtue has Captain Kaboom, a scrapper.
White Hot Flash on Pinnacle has Captain Kaboom, a Kheldian.
If we can get cross server teaming, what would happen if we all end up in the same trial? Who gets to keep the name Captain Kaboom? Solution: In the team/league tab, we see:
Captain Kaboom@Triumph
Captain Kaboom@Virtue
Captain Kaboom@Pinnacle. -

Quote:hmmm, simple answer. Too easy. Just wait to run a TF with 8 players 50 (+1) and 5 Rare Incarnate powers. People are destroying TFs presently. Just wait to see when those 8 players charge the last room and what it looks like after 8 Judgements. That's why.The part I can't wrap my head around is why Alpha is set up to promote you doing different content. You have all the level 50 TFs which give components, plus the WST which encourages about 2.5 months of different content you can do to get other components. You also still get shards, which unlike threads are 1/4 a component each (instead of 1/20th).
When they introduce the new stuff, they take away all that content for a new system that encourages you to only repeat the same two tasks over and over again. I can't get to the part where people say "just wait for i21+ for more content" when they have the content available right now, this second, but decided to take it out for some reason in favor of a system that tells you "grind this trial."
It doesn't make sense to remove content when you introduce new content which can't replace what you took out either in quantity or quality. Before we even get to how many months I need to wait before I can grind 4 trials instead of 2, I want to know why I can't do the LGTF and get more than 1/4th of a common component (which will still cost me money).
In all games, when you become more powerful, you have to face appropriate challenges. A level 49 on its way to level 50 dont defeat grey-conning level 10 giving him full XPs, he has to fight enemies around his level. A bit lower they give less XPs, a bit higher they give more becasue it's more difficult. The same is true for advancment, in the beginning of the game you need hundreds of XPs to level up, and you need over a million in the high levels which mean you need to defeat way more enemies in a given level. -
Destiny Ageless will affect the recharge rate of Domination too, but you cannot get that before level 50 and will stop working if you exemp below level 45. Dominators shouldn't have much problem using Ageless since they don't really need Clarion since with Perma-Dom they have status protection already. Rebirth dont seem to be a good choice for most Doms. Barrier can be interesting for the defense but I think Ageless is nicer for Dominators. It also grants End bonus and Debuff Resistance to about everything, including -recharge.

Quote:Devs know better becasue they see if people play the trials. Also, when people are happy, they usually won't post in forums. People mostly post when they have an issue with the game. You aren't reading the right threads then. There's a lot of negative feedback. Also you're underestimating the number of people who will like the system as presented. I'm not saying they're the majority, but they aren't a dismissably miniscule minority. Right now the only options are to grind the same two trials infinitely, or take the absolutely massive alternative route that requires tens of thousands of shards and billions of influence. People talking about the inf route as if it's a shortcut really have no idea.
I don't like the system as presented. Trials should be the forerunner in getting things, but right now they're essentially the only option. Everyone who says "you don't have to pay inf" means "do this one single task hundreds of times." That's not fun. Alpha didn't have to be that way. I don't know why the new ones do.
But this isn't really the thread for that. There are a lot of feedback threads on the topic. If you really can't find one, PM me.
and hundreds of times? I mean come on. That's at least 200 times whereas it took me less than 20 trials to get all the Rares on the 4 new Incarnate slots. When you run your first trial and get iXPs to unlock Judgement and/or Interface, you get Threads by defeating enemies. You get other rewards if badges are obtained although I doubt it initially, since everyone will be at best (+1). You get Astral Merits, and you might get 1 Empyrean Merit as well as a component (that could be a Rare or even Very Rare). By the time your next Incarnate power is unlocked, you should have enough threads to craft the Common one, maybe even the Uncommon. You have more power to your character, trials get easier, and you get more rewards and it's a chain reaction from there.
Meanwhile, you still can play the "normal" game. Exemplaring down will also gives Shards too. If you don't need the Notices anymore, you can still run the TWS and get it to break it donw to 4-6 shards, that you can eventually convert to Threads.
Yes, there are only 2 Trials for the moment, but more content will be added, like the PAX announced Keyes Island Reactors and Praetorian Underground.
And who knows? Maybe different sort of content will be added in i21+ for Incarnates that could be played solo or in small teams. Devs just cannot snap their fingers and have content magically appear. -
Quote:I have run so many raids and TFs that kicking someone out of teams is a rare occurence. I was on a team once where the leader kicked someone for a really stupid reason, and I simply quit the team. End of story. Rate it with 1 Star.Read the following threads:
Feedback: LFG Queue
Feedback: Leagues
There are a couple more in the I20 Chatter section. The "short list" of excuses I've read in those threads:
- Medical reasons.
- Computer hardware.
- Just want to team with friends.
- Afraid they might get a leech.
- Afraid they might get someone they don't like.
- Wanting a challenge.
- Might think it is too much of a challenge with "unknown" players.
- Don't want to explain tactics.
- Don't like people that are not on a VOIP.
- Afraid that a player might mess up tactics.
- Just don't feel like having new people around.
- Stressing out over badges.
Actually, I find there are more people willing to explain then to kick out players. Dunno, I find this whole kick players out thing bordering on paranoia. Unless people are behaving like a total sociopath, they shouldn't be afraid of being kicked out. -
Quote:I repeat, you Don't have to pay 1 (one) Inf. to craft Interface, Destiny, Judgement, and Lore. You can pay to speed up things... or you have to pay if for some reasons you absolutely don't want to participate in group content.I feel like I'm talking to the same 3 people here that post **** like this. Alpha slot didn't have costs. It had components and shards that come from doing tfs and as you did the tfs and the weeklys you could convert shards for free. Now you have to pay a premium if you run trials and want to convert threads and it really shouldn't be as high as it is.
So if you don't have the inf to pay to convert you are screwed and forced to keep running the trials over and over until you finally finish it. Then its the same whole process over and over everytime you want to bring another incarnate through the trials. Unlike now where you can make extra progress by simply converting components that you don't need or shards. It's a time sink, inf sink and a grind all in one. Where as before the only real time sink was waiting 4 weeks to get all of your notices and that was certainly more alt friendly.
Why waiting 4 weeks is more alt friendly? You have the choice now. Go full Incarnate with one character after the other, or do a little bit with all your characters and repeat the process.
Time sink, inf sink, grind? I mean, what do you want? A button "Make me Incarnate?" Of course not, then you have to earn it and having it taking time is not bad to the game, unless you are obssessed about getting all the Very Rares on all your Alts in the first week. Unlocking the 4 new INcarnate slots and getting to the Rare Enhancements will be done faster than you think. Very Rares will need a bit more work but it's not like they are absolutely necessary. That's why the +1 Incarnate Shifts are at the Rare level.
Also, more content will be added giving more variety. -
Quote:You don't have to spend Inf. I repeat, you don't have to spend a single Inf. Using Inf. will be speeding stuff becasue anyway at level 50, there will be no use for Inf. once your build is complete. They were dropped one time in price from the initial placeholders and people are still pissed about the current costs. This is about doing the trials and also being able to convert threads and components like you currently do from running weeklys.
Making Inf. at level 50 is easy. Just by running anything you make Inf. Sell the recipes you find. Vendor the IO recipes at around 100k Inf apiece, everytime you get around 200 Reward Merits or 2 Alignment Merits, buy recipes to sell back at the market for 150 millions - 300 millions Inf, and so on.
It's really not that bad. -
March 31st: 6 hours long downtime (which is the length of new issues downtime).
March 31st: Live chat with Paragon Studios in the evening.
Not convinced yet, but they might give us a surprise tomorrow. -
JUst explain why you dont have the info as an answer. I got access back after sending the first fields )account name to date of birth). For serial codes I provided 4 codes from booster packs. And nothing for the unique ID thingie since like almost everyone, that email is gone somewhere in Internet Heaven since it was 7 years ago.
I got a reply after 2-3 days saying my questions were cleared. I was able to log back in Master Account... and I went to CHange mMy Password where I changed it, and made 2 new questions and answers that I will remember 30 years from now on, unless I have Alzeihmer.
Yeah I was angry too at first, but it ended well. And I agree, they should have communicated this change more clearly. There are still some people that don't know about the change yet I'm pretty sure. When big changes happen like this, they should announce where everyone should see it, and that is in the game. -
Thanks to GM Toby answering my email when I sent the info. Took about 2 days but I guess they had lots of tickets. Thanks again. Everything is all back to normal.

Quote:I sent 4 codes saying it was some of the codes I had: Animal Pack, Origins Pack, Going Rogue, and Wedding Pack. As for my Unique ID number sent to me by email when I activated my game account, it is forgotten for a long time on 2 computers ago. I Mean, that email was sent in 2004. Will wait for the email now. From the NCsoft support article (Account Information Field Descriptions):
Not just the last code, ALL of your serial codes.
One of my real life friend got a response back, with a link to change the 2 questions and it all well went. One problem though, his IP is still blocked. So he changed the questions but can't still access his MAster Account. I specified my IP was banned too in the email. -

I think the characters on the Test server are copied to the Beta server automatically, but I'm not sure. Transfer one of your character to the beta server in case.
-
BTW, after 5 strikes, how long is it for our IP Adress to get unbanned?
-
This is beyond STUPID! I can't access my master account becasue I failed 4 times as I don't remember the stuff I wrote seven years ago! How about a warning before implementing this so we could at least check or change what we wrote!!! I mean.... honestly!

Quote:Virtue server. It would also help us to know which server you were on when this occurred.
Thanks again
It happened again once during the evening (don't have the time, sorry). Like the previous time, I clicked Back to Server Selection. Then re-selected Virtue and it was fine. -
Happened to me around 5pm EST. My uninterupted account since the beginning (81 months vet badge) had the button to upgrade to Going Rogue. All my Praetorians in the screen selection were un-selectable (greyed out). I clicked Back to Server Selection, then re-selected my server and it was okay. All my characters could be selected and the Buy Going Rogue button gone.

Quote:You had your "first" run for that TWS already done, where you got the bonus merits, and in your case, the bonus XPs at the end. All subsequent runs during that week would go toward the helper badges. That's why you didn't get a Notice of the Well. It is working as intended.I've reported this in-game with absolutely no help from the GMs. Here is my problem. I started off a level 46 Bane joining a LRSF. When we finished, I was level 48. I'm fairly certain I got the bonus merits, but obviously I did not get the Notice of the Well bonus. I finished levelling to 50, unlocked my alpha slot, and crafted a tier 2 Nerve boost. Then I proceeded to complete another LRSF. I did not receive the Notice of the Well. The GM told me that if I wouldn't receive it if I didn't have my alpha slot unlocked (when clearly I do now). I explained that I didn't have it unlocked the first time the character ran the LRSF, but when I went back to complete it when it WAS unlocked, it still didn't reward it. I said it seemed like a bug to me, and again he told me it was intentional that characters without their alpha slot unlocked wouldn't receive the NotW (again ignoring the fact that I DID have it unlocked the second time).
It seems like it is a bug, where it only checks for the merit/notice bonus the first time you run the strike force. So it's either WAI and designed to penalize players levelling up thru strike forces, or it's an overlooked bug that the GM won't recognize/honor for me. -
I am noticing the same thing too, since the last patch. I have a GTX 295, drivers are current and all that. It often does that when people come in view in front of me. The FX will be like "solid" then resume to the normal FX. It is bery noticeable with Superspeed as it's making a big round/oval orange blot. Lots of auras will do that too.
I also cleaned my computer and the fans. I was thinking my video card might be starting to overheat, and everything is fine there. -
Quote:You can type it in the game presently, to see the stats:I dunno. It really depends on the recharge length. I mean, if it equates to something like once every play-session I don't know how nerf-worth it is.
