So, Ice Blitz was messing around on lolVirtue today when she got an invite from a supergroup there. They sent her a link to their website so she could familiarize herself with their policies and procedures, after awhile she looked up from her laptop and asked if every supergroup was like a cult. This is their policies and procedures page -> http://unknownheroes.guildportal.com...&TabID=2611995
Just a few great highlights from their rules. You can get kicked from the supergroup for failures to obey "direct" orders, treason/betrayal, and security violations. You must use the term "willing to help" instead of "LFT" because lft is spam. You cannot advertise a team or TF group unless a sg member is the leader. Then there are the forum rules; here is a good taste "no non sg affiliated logos, banners, icons, avatars or other forums of propaganda is allowed in the forums." If you are on their vent channel you can be banned and removed from the sg for playing a villain. People who hold leader ranks in the sg cannot have a toon in any other sg for security reasons. If you are suspected of being a threat to sg security, stability or loyalty you are demoted while the highest ranking leaders open an investigation.
Like I said, thats just a few of the very hilarious rules and regulations that they set on their sg members. So.....supergroup or cult? -
Did everyone just DC half way through that slide show of a MS raid?

Notice how he used Sun's picture and not Karl Rove Man's. (probably because it would have brought the ban hammer down on him, I know I'm not going to risk posting it, or take the time to find it) Just to remind people, Karl's was a picture of him totally nude with the exception some running shoes and a black box censoring his junk.

Sorry to hear about all the turmoil with the job Babba, and glad to have you back around. You said you were in charge of training military bomb sniffing dogs? That is really awesome, my own goal is the Army Vet Corps. I recently emailed some professors here at Auburn University about being an undergrad assistant to their project, but they basically said "its top secret neener neener, if we showed around we'd have to kill you"....only in more professional words.

Sounds cool, just give us a when and where.

O.o The Cath, still haunts these forums?
grats Turbo. -
Sorry Infi, I'll have to catch up with you another week. Today is my Dad's birthday and on Wednesday I have tabletop gaming with RL friends.
-
Grats everyone, wish I could have made it.

I don't know if he "quit" but he is playing Global Agenda

Thanks again....and Baba, that completely flew over my head until I read it a second time >_<
I also just want to apologize for not being around at all for like the last two months. School was wrapping up and I was out of town, then I graduated and almost instantly started a summer job for my dad on top of my volunteering at the wolf sanctuary. Plus on top of that busy load I finally wound up finding a girlfriend *gasp* thats right PoS actually has a women in his life. =D So right now I don't have time to log on, but hopefully that will change soon. Hope to see you guys in game sometime soon. -

Happy Belated Birthday Cath! -
Thanks everyone! While I did have to work, they let me off early....but only because I had three different doctors offices I had to go to. Had an eye doctors check up and then had to get pricked a few times by another doctor for college vaccines. Other than that it was a pretty good day, met some friends at Hooters for dinner and there's a pic or two on facebook >_<

Quote:The flashy trailer was awesome, but now I've lost some interest in it after reading this today.Exactly. So far I've seen a flashy trailer for it, but I might have to do more research. There again, it's very hard for me to get grips on a game without a demo or beta playtime.

I just found out about it today. I had no clue there was even a BSG MMO on the drawing board. Speaking of Sci-Fi MMOs was the Stargate MMO ever released?

A friend pointed this out to me...

Quote:It is healthy to see people in a different light, and facebook has made it easy to keep up all the great coh laughs even when your not online. I got Sun Splitter, Rhynwa, Forgotten Guardian, Fo shizzle and a whole slew of the 'The Condescending Few' group on my friends list. Another great thing is Fanci has started using FB to schedule Dolls SG TF nights, so no more signing up then forgetting you ever signed up. You just say your going to the event and FB reminds you to log in. Its something other SGs should explore, cause we all know none of us can keep track of the time.I have a few people from CoH as well, it's nice to see people in a different light aside from their infamous avatars. Got Az and Stef and Mylia and naturally Kay among 2-3 others. If ya wanna add me drop me a line with an invite www.facebook.com/Magentabolt
Right, got distracted there. http://www.facebook.com/Phoenix.of.Syrinx -
I will try to make this one, but Sundays are normally busy for me =(
Why can't we do these on Saturdays or Fridays? -
-
Do'h! I missed it...this is what I get for not checking the forums more regularly.
-
I'd be in, but school's had me pretty busy as of late, so keep me posted.

Karl, it looks like your going to have to travel back in time to Preempt Cath. Good luck with that.
