I did also point out "that's what got you reported". Mod's rarely peruse threads for violations. Someone has to use the report post button to bring their attention to it. So there could be several other posts in the same thread violating the same rule but only the one reported will get smacked. Hope that further clarifies.

The part I am quoting (sorry mod 08) is a direct personal attack, at least that would be my guesstamate on what rule that post violates. The rest of the post looks fine this would be my best guess, again you will probably get a PM Mod08 might not have gotten around to it yet.

For example I could say "Philly stop trolling" and that would be ok, saying "Philly your a troll" not ok. (I think anyway if i remember the wording) Not that i would ever be a troll on these forums The fact that you named names would be what probably got it reported and erased.

Just to further explain, Merc only quoted your post partially and what was quoted by him most likely did not include the forum rule violating wording. My guess is (i can't remember) Max quoted the whole post, and thus also required deletion. Usually you get a PM telling you a post was deleted beause you violated forum rule x *looks at all the old PM's from Nivine and Mod 08* I maybe speaking from experience.... It doesn't look like it was Mod 08 tough since he usually leaves a lil *edited by mod 08* message and i don't know if the other forum moderators actually send PM's. Woops edited there is the lil edited by mod 08 message i missed it till Con pointed it out.

Actually Con is one of the people who has always answered any question I have asked and taken the time to elaborate on the why's. It's all about how you approach someone and your missing that, talk **** get **** back just more eloquently delivered.

Not all PvP'rs are jerks, matter of fact the jerk population is in the minority from my own experience. People on Justice have always helped me with answering questions, teaching me techniques, sending me builds etc. Now that I am on Freedom I find it to be a similar situation when I have asked for help/input that is what I have gotten, and not just from my league team. I am experiencing more of the jerkish population but that literally is cause I moved to a server with a higher population period.

Also I used to not understand the aspects of PvP and would get frustrated going into RV for pills or AV's. I took the time to learn about PvP I joined a pentad that Justice radio and the PvPEC had so I could learn about PvP. So if you are going to blame the PvP'rs as jerks then blame all non PvP'rs who enter the zones and cry as being uneducated and uninformed whiners.

There is as much responsibility for the "new person" to PvP to educate himself as there is on anyone else in this game PvE or PvP. As in PvE if you ask for help I think you would get it. To walk into a PvP zone and think you will dominate it your first time there is just idiotic and arrogant, but every time you are killed you can learn from it.

If you think the dev's changed PvP for that reason then you are being more insulting then any of the PvP'rs you are critiquing.
