Did I miss the answer to the O/P's question? It is very likely I may have saved enough for a new computer myself (after 2 1/2 years, damn tanking economy) and was wondering the same things.

Gratz. Defenders seem to take me forever to level, even my emp who was always the fair queen of the team invite. -
Didn't have the analyzer power but we ran this the other day and we could barely touch GW and had to quit. We might have had too many scrappers and too much melee because, on top of her regen, she was healing 3,000 HP x2 whenever her power came up, which seemed like every 15 seconds or so.
If she's regening at 3k then it becomes imperative that a cold def comes along to slow that down a bit. -
Got to team on my son's, still a work in progress, tank on an STF with a couple of board names including PownsU. We couldn't get past GW after the kin left but that was a really fun run. (Even aside from the first timers to that run.)

We had 3 defenders on the yellow taunt and almost had a controller out for tanking. Even the new tanks did fine.
(warning. I plan on bringing my son's tank next week so prepare for hillarity.) -
Good luck with the channel. Been tried and failed before. I think it is better to have blue and red side channels, that way someone playing blue side can see a red side team starting and choose to switch. I think villain channels are self defeating because you get an even smaller population listening.
Anyway, hope you prove me wrong and it is a huge success. -

Nice stories. I've never been 10mil generous but I do drop lvl 50 enhancements on lowbee characters running around atlas.

A) Not true. Some on test right now are no more than 3 year vets. I think only B & C, plus being in good standing, meet their requirements.
Me personally, I think the dev's are more Dwarf people and have an inherant prejudice against elves.
