    Even Cringer never bit anybody. >_>
  5. I'm nostalgic for the summer of Star Wars, in 1977. <_<

    Only one movie, merchandise was still at a minimum, and no lousy prequels.

    I couldn't get the Kenner toys (like most people, as they didn't make that many at first), so I did what I could with Legos. Of course, actual Star Wars Legos wouldn't happen for many, many years. =>_<=
  6. I was terribly uninterested in this game, since I wanted a new Freedom Force instead, and the thought of an MMO, with thousands of superheroes in just one city, seemed kinda silly to me. Even Marvel spreads out their characters, instead of all of them in NYC. <_<

    After the NDA was lifted, and the mass of pics, details, and explanations from other players started to flood forums I visited, I really wanted to play this game, and thus, I picked it up on Launch Day.

    I've played other MMOs (Champions and STO, beta'd Aion as well), but CoH is the only game I've stuck with all these years. =^_^=

  10. Ah, will have to try that next time I'm able to get on.

    I agree with the tiny type being a bit much. I thought it was just a bug when I checked out i17 on Test, but jeez, I guess not. >_<;;

    I don't mind a bit of a reduction in our Power Management screen, so we don't have to scroll up and down, but the IOs are sort of squashed horizontally, and the numbers are so small, that on my 20" LCD monitor, I have to get within inches in order to see what the digits say. =o_O=

    Really do need crowbars for Maces though. <_<;;
  12. If we can't get a Huge Female model, what about just having a muscular body texture option on the normal Female body, such as what Males have (even if it's just a Tights pattern). That, plus increasing the various sliders, would gain us a strong-looking female appearance. <_<;;
  13. Woo, yet another spiffy vid. =^_^=b

    I haven't been keeping up with the Updates, so some of that was new to me. =o_O=

  15. I'll auto-complete a mission if:

    1. Mission just can't be finished due to a bug (or a perceived bug), even after resetting it at least once.

    2. Just cannot find that last stupid objective, be it a hostage, glowie, or mob. Objective placements in hard-to-find nooks, wandering mobs that end up in areas I had previously cleared (especially on huge maps), or placements outside the map or within the walls, can all be guilty of causing me to give up and auto-complete.

    3. Mission is waaay the heck out of the, well, way. Especially early on before traveling becomes easier. Removal of zone level limits helps, as the whole team can do the Peregrine Island-Atlas Park trip via RWZ, but sometimes you just don't want to Sprint/Ninja Run for 10 minutes to get to a simple talkie mission. <_<;;

    Other than that, I will do all missions normally.

    Annoying

    My first post-i9 character, I did a bunch of memorized recipes, which I eventually regretted due to the ever-present Memorization tab. >_<

    Hey Everyone

    Things are going mintily. =^_^=

    Level 8 in just a couple of hours, Dual Pistols are pretty spiffy.
  18. On Infinity, just about every character is in some way connected to my main, Peppermint Cat. One's an alternate-universe Evil version, another is a prototype toy robot based on Pep's appearance, she has a sister that's a tanker, a cousin that's a scrapper, her aunt is another tanker, her deceased grandmother's clone is yet a third tanker (it runs in the family, it seems), and so on....

    Other servers are various characters that are not part of the "Pepverse"... as if those stories were published by another company. =^_^=

    leveling pact

    I've got a pact going on two characters, one hero one villain, and it works very nicely. We're both always the same level, and even if one is offline, the inf remains the same, so half-xp gains still means a lot of cash on hand.

    There is some lag on actually gaining the xp. Nothing serious, but you can tell that it takes a second or two after you defeat something before the xp message appears, and when you level up, it's like another couple of seconds for the game to realize this and do the level up animation. However, that's just nitpicking, as it works very well.

    I wish they'd revisit this, though. It'd be nice to start pacts later on, or re-pact if you accidentally break it (or a bug causes it to break), or even be able to do a three or four person pact (probably don't want too many people in a pact, since it could really slow down xp if only one shows up).
  21. Florida, and no snow here, though it's getting chilly. <_<

    Well, chilly for us.
  22. Well, I don't think all of my characters would be connected, just cause I play them, but all of my characters on Infinity are part of my "Pepverse" storyline. =^_^=
  23. After years of having to break teams up cause a sidekicked lowbie couldn't enter a zone that the mission is in, being able to not worry about level ranges while in "hazard zones" is a wonderful thing. If you want a level-limited RWZ, then I'd suggest adding a separate instance that is, in fact, 35+.

    However, after doing a raid last night, with under 35 characters present (quite a few, judging by broadcasts), we did rather well, myself gaining nearly 300 v-merits and earning four bubs towards level 50. Lowbies didn't seem to slow us down, nor did anybody just hang around and leech.

    It's entirely possible that many of the so-called leechers might just be the same player on different characters. If you spot somebody that seems to be leeching, right-click them, Edit Note, then add a comment about it. Heck, one-star them if you want, then during another raid, you can tell if it's the same person. <_<
  24. And if Wolfspiders can be helmetless in the future (don't see why not, since Widows can be), can we have Ear options added to them, too? <_<;;
