Good luck on the run. 7 is too early for me unfortunately, but hope you all get the badge.
-
Depending on time and day (would have to be evenings unfortunately for me), I would like to pencil in my name too.
Already got the badge on my ice/cold corr, but also got 50's as either:
fire/rad corr
dark/therm corr
son/kin corr
widow
thugs/PD MM
bots/storm MM
(Won't bother with my brute or stalker)

Overall, I feel the VEATs were designed exceptionally well and you can't go wrong with any one you pick. I would always recommend a VEAT if you can make one. Only side note is that it is a little rough until 24 when you can finally choose your path of training. After that, you are a beast of a toon.
For me, I have a 50 widow, which has become my favorite toon (out of 17). Widows have a lot of powers that work great both solo and teams (well all the VEATs do). She is primarily melee but has some ranged attacks. There are really no bad powers and I tried to take them all by not taking any travel (I only have swift, health, and stamina outside of my primary and secondary and no PPPs either). My style is sorta a stealthing scrapper. My slotting for sets focused on recharge (currerntly ~63%) and run speed (~53 MPH with sprint on).
I have not made a dual build yet for a fortunata, I plan too. They are more ranged/controller like, but pretty powerful from what I have seen on teams.
For the other side, I have started a crab, but only level 10.
My friends I play with have leveled up a crab and bane to 50. The bane is similar to widow, but gets pets. He liked the toon very much and we had a lot of fun with widow/bane combination. The crabs are what I consider more of ranged attackers and have more ranged attacks. Again, like widows, they have a lot of options and powers and really no bad choices for power picks. -
Still working on these for tickets and to provide feedback.
Completed both with 50 MM bots/storm, diff 5 (as usual).

Arc Name: A Badger's Plea
Arc ID: 18816
Faction: Neutral
Creator Global/Forum Name: @Tangerine Witch
Difficulty Level: easy
Synopsis: A thief attacked an unsuspecting hero while at Wentworths, and made off with some of the rarest badges in the game! It's up to you to stop the thief and retrun the badges.
Estimated Time to Play: 20-25 minutes

I gave 4 stars to this. Overall, no general errors I could find (typos/mobs/etc.). But was too short of a mission, sorta over before I knew what was going on. The custom mobs were okay, but my MM handled pretty easily. Maybe a bit longer, I could have reviewed better.

Arc Name:Crustacean Fancy Pants Plaza
Arc ID:3009
Faction:Neutral
Creator Global/Forum Name:Jack Drek
Difficulty Level:Medium
Synopsis:Basically, it's an extension of a level 40-45 hero arc, but there are no spoilers. Mostly, I ran around thinking what if there really was a place called Crustacean Fancy Pants Plaza, took notes on the arc, and threw in one or two of my toons because they seemed to fit in with what would be the story. You'll either get all the allusions, some of the allusions, or will just think it's total wackiness, so it's not for everybody, but some will love it.
Estimated Time to Play:30 minutes average, I'd say

Lots of fun on this one. Orange is definitely not my color too! Those arrows hurt (play and find out!). Very nice story and was fun for me. Good dialogue and custom mobs. -
Welcome and grats on the 50 brute.
In case you haven't joined them, Victory Forum (PM a mod to be unsilenced at first), Victory Badges (if there is room), and Victory Badges 2009 are good global channels to look for teams/SF/TF/trials.
Hope to see you around. -
Got a couple more done:
Completed both 50 bots/storm MM, diff 5.

Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting

Arc ID: 2517

Difficulty Level:1-54
Synopsis: Based on the hit song from the 70s.

A short mission with some martial art action, 70's style. Overall, I liked the mission, quick and fun beating up those so-called kung fu masters. Not a lot of dialogue, but didn't detract from the mission for me.

Arc Name: Rescue the 4th Wall
Arc ID: 92390

Creator Global/Forum Name: Camper
Difficulty Level: Easy Peasy
Synopsis: A short jokey mission that I don't want to say much about or I'll give away the already somewhat feeble joke.
[/ QUOTE ]
Just like the one up top, short and fun mission. Looking for a "quickie", this would be good. Liked the custom mobs.
I gave both 5 stars for their ratings.
PS - When not trying to level my dom or in a TF, I am spending my off-time trying out the VF MA arcs posted in the other thread. Usually using my MM in CAD since she can solo AV's. But sometimes I am using my 50 DM/regen scrapper for blue side. If any wants to partner up for their arc and I am free, just send a PM to @PennyPA. -
Any TF tonight?
If not, will probably be running some Victory MA arcs to review with one of my MM's. If any want to team up, just drop a PM. -

Complete myself as 28 earth/fire dom LK'd up with 38 fire/fire dom, max diff (or at least 4, my friend had star).
Arrrrrgh! There be pirates causing mayhem. My friend and I had a few rough spots, but otherwise a fun arc. Those custom pirates had a few tricks on us. Couldn't find any errors or other items in the missions. I gave it 5-stars and should be a decent challenge for teams. -

Completed 50 bots/storm MM with LK'd 38 fire/fire dom, max diff setting.
A quick mission with lots of chickens! They were done to a golden brown with my friend's fire dom. I 5-starred since I could find no errors in text or set up. And glad you fixed it Bunny, my first time the other day with 5 EBs ambushing at the front door was a little brutal. Hope to see more. -

But enlighten me, please, what amazingly valuable nuggets do you feel compelled to broadcast from within the AE, other than the LFT/LFM messages which should either be done via Local or via tells after searches?
[/ QUOTE ]
Someone comes out of RWZ/VG (or Cim/Midnight) in CAD and saying "/b LGTF (or ITF), LFM" and I am in AE building saying "/b I'll join!".
Otherwise, it doesn't matter what we feel are nuggets for broadcast. It is there to broadcast messages. -
Woohoo Happy Birthday!
*just give me those drinks Viv!* -
I agree that this is a good idea and option for players that want to duel "quietly" real quick and then get back in the action.
I am fine either way with inspiration use. Without them, you have to plan better, but with them, it keeps the action going. -
I like this suggestion too. I was looking to write an arc with a "street sweep" type of mission in the middle to find a clue without making it a kill all. /signed!
-
Now that was some fighting last night. I was glad to see my scrapper actually being able to stand up for a fight. May start exploring RV more now. Thanks for setting up.

Arc Name: Under The Wire
Arc ID: 103823
Faction: Neutral
Creator Global/Forum Name: @Valdy
Difficulty Level: Moderate/Hard
Synopsis: Crey has managed to get their hands on some technology that will help them in their recruitment efforts. Time gets shorter and shorter as you try to foil their plot! This is a blast to play with a big team on level 3 or 4. It starts off easing into the arc and gets more frenetic near the end. Coordination is vital with the last two mishs. There is no EB/AV at the end, but the last mission can be one heck of a rush!

5 stars
Solo'd with 50 bots/storm MM at lvl5 diff.
Well written and quite a challenge on the settings I used. It does get more fast paced and you need to keep moving - which is why I liked it so much. Valdy, you almost got me in the end since I got caught in a surprise you placed and nearly failed (or I was a bit slacking from being overconfident on an MM!). I would really like to see this in a team setting to increase the mob number and bosses. I agree with Valdy that if a large/full team did this, then they better be coordinated in the last missions.

Welcome back!
And repeating: [ QUOTE ]
Condolences on the situation; that's something you hope to never have to deal with.

Not sure what coalitions are out there. You could trying joining the global channels Victory Forum (PM a mod to be unsilenced after joining), Victory Badges (if any room), or Victory Badges 2009. They are pretty active and you may get some more information. -
Glad to hear you completed it. When did you start? I didn't see Talnar's note he could start at 9 PM until too late, which I could have made. But I didn't see anything in the global channels if he started then.
Yeah, I would agree Hamidon would probably have been the worst part. I am curious if you just rushed the AV's at the end. I mean with all pets out there was at least 56 of you vs. all the mobs on the platform.
Surprised to see people not wanting to LK up. After 2 MM's now, I consider are extreme easy mode and it is like PLing yourself. -

Thanks Viv and gang for the nice run.
Dinged #17 (#4 as a corruptor) last nigt. -
Talnar,
Would Tue at 830PM EST work for you? A certain someone said he was taking that night off...to watch Idol finale I think!?! -
Unfortunately, too hard to do during the day for long periods, even on weekends. Good luck with the run.
