Nor do they change the rating of the game by allowing players to kill helpless civilians.
[/ QUOTE ]
Is there some way civ-only knockback or something can be added to at least clear them out of a big fight?
Also, when AoE target counting is considered, does a hit on a civvy count towards your AoE limit?
[/ QUOTE ]
Is that not why they are targetable in the first place? Blast one, knock him away, they all run. That's how it seems to work for me. -

I wouldn't argue at all, with the upgrade involving tossing them a can. We can pretend it's beer or Red Bull or Ginger Ale or something, in order to stave off any moralistic or censor issues (i.e. "Rated T for Teen, Animated Violence, Drugs and Alcohol") so it'd be okay to be just a generic unlabeled can.

I think there's a real-world brand of soft drink called Whupass. -

does the gangsta-**sideways**-holding-pistol shooting position bother anyone? (yea I shoot RL)

I'd say a widget that lets you refine salvage on the cheap is useful for small supergroups, even if it happens to have other uses that are only valuable in raids.
[/ QUOTE ]
If I'm in a small supergroup which cannot afford a worktable, why do I care if I can refine salvage?
This simply makes no sense whatsoever.
[/ QUOTE ]
Given that the items you can make with the Power/Material/Hardware/Foci/whatever are mostly much more expensive than the worktable, you're right, it was a silly notion. -
The hologram is backwards on the Tech Podium. The speaker can see it if he cranes his neck and looks way way up, but it looks indistinct from the audience's perspective. The side of the projected logo facing the audience should have the higher contrast.
Also, it's jinxed.I tried to place it three times last night, and the server shut down and rolled back immediately each time. I never got to look at the podium until they fixed the stability issue. Apologies to everyone with timed missions.

I have a 44 blaster who's played in SG mode since level 34 or so, and my one-player SG only just now got a worktable going to refine the 20 titanium he's had for a level or so. It'll take another marathon play session or two to afford a better table to make the higher level components, or I could just get an Empowerment Station and not need the worktable until I can afford teleporters and stuff.
I'd say a widget that lets you refine salvage on the cheap is useful for small supergroups, even if it happens to have other uses that are only valuable in raids. -
CoH has had outdoor missions since around Issue 2 or 3, but they're usually in distinct zones rather than private instances of the regular zones. There's a couple graveyards, some downtown areas vaguely resembling Steel Canyon, some wrecked cities resembling Boomtown, etc. A little later in City of Villains on the other hand, you get to visit maps of Steel Canyon and Skyway City.
The swirly vortex is a teleporter for Supergroup Bases. -
The ingame help for turnleft and turnright is wrong. /turnleft 1 (or any nonzero value) causes you to start turning left continuously; /turnleft 0 stops you. Likewise /turnright 1 makes you start spinning to the right and /turnright 0 stops you.

I can verify these:

Do not broadcast something akin to the following:
"lvl 20 troller lft PST"
^Seriously, you're begging for a team on broadcast and you want them to send you a tell? How arrogant can you get?
[/ QUOTE ]
Don't complain about blind invites when you've made it clear exactly what kind of teaming you want. I've seen this:
Noob: Lvl34 blaster looking for PL
Noob: Lvl34 blaster looking for PL
Noob: Lvl34 blaster looking for PL
Noob: Lvl34 blaster looking for PL
Noob: Why do jerks keep sending me blind invites?
Noob: Lvl34 blaster looking for PL
Noob: Lvl34 blaster looking for PL
/ignore Noob
And I've seen someone with "Looking for respec trial" in their search comment get mad at being invited to a respec trial. -
Make floor tiles such as the white linoleum stackable so you can use them for actual flooring.
Fix the EZ Flooring so it's usable as a floor tile. Make its hit box smaller (16 feet square) so it will tile a floor, adjust its position so it aligns properly with walls (it's only a scale inch or two off), and make it stackable.
Stackable Arcane Pattern Tile
Originally suggested by: Pengy
Category: Decorative
Customizable? N
Type: Purchased
Description: A large floor decoration similar in size and appearance to the Arcane Floor Pattern, but able to have things placed on it, and coded with a large enough 'flat' surface to serve as a decorative base for the base entrance portal.
They may have to model it without much vertical relief to make it work, I'm not sure.
Limitations: May support any base item no larger than the entrance portal
Stackable Tech Pattern Tile

Type: Purchased
Description: A floor pattern that resembles the base of a tech teleporter, useful for making the base portal look like a trech device
Limitations: May support any base item no larger than the entrance portal
Fairy Ring

Type: Purchased
Description: A stackable item that looks like the rings of toadstools seen in Croatoa, can be used to decorate the base portal.
The actual mushrooms may have to be intangible so they don't interfere with stacking or the use of the portal
Limitations: May support any base item no larger than the entrance portal -

hey winza i wanan make my blaster do inferno and change to costume 3 but it switches too fast is there any way to make liek a pause so inferno goes off first waits a sec then changes costume
[/ QUOTE ]
Beginning a bind with + makes it run once when you press the key and again when you release it. If you can make the bind activate inferno when you press the key and change costumes when you release it you can manage the timing yourself.
Create these files:
inferno1.txt
[ QUOTE ]
i "+ $$powexec_name Inferno$$bind_load_file c:\binds\inferno2.txt"
[/ QUOTE ]
inferno2.txt
[ QUOTE ]
i "+ $$cc 3$$bind_load_file c:\binds\inferno1.txt"
[/ QUOTE ]
Substitute file paths and keys as required.
Then enter the command /bind_load_file c:\binds\inferno1.txt You now should be able to press i (or the key of your choice) and begin Inferno, then release it and begin a costume change. -
Super Jump is definitely important to me. I need to be able to hit hover-sniping sappers the first time, or be defeated. Putting an accuracy debuff in it means big trouble the first time a Malta ambush comes after me, not just for me but for anyone else in the area once the sapper kills me or I run to the zone gate to get away from him.
No SJ combat = bad for melee -
Can anyone confirm that Shadowhunter is timed?
-
It's good that they're reducing the spam in PI, but did they have to make it a stealth timed mission? I'd be in bed right now...
I return to Kemen after the Council Earth mission, intending to log off, and he starts a timer on me, the *******.
