Rose updated their contact, no need for transportation, and several of the rogues didn't need covers. She did, and made note of anyone else who hadn't claimed to need one. Best to have some extras ready anyway.

Rose nodded at Cassie, "We'll take your transpo, whoever needs a cover, or just wants one ready when we land, let me know, we'll pick them up in Paragon."

"Where are we going to make entry?"

Millions pondered this for a moment.

"Er. All I can promise is that the shipment we may or may not be accidentally and coincidentally internally accompanying will be shipped to Sedadyne's central complex. I can't be...er...anymore specific..." He looked down at the floor. "Than that. Sorry."
  2. Egregore had ported straight down into the oddly spacious sewer system, activated his combat invisibility and started getting the hell out of dodge. His reasoning being that if Toy Dispenser was planning on teleporting everybody, and if this whole thing was a trap, somehow teleporting at all was also a trap. Egregore had decided that it was necessary to teleport simply because it could not have made the scenario any worse than it already had been, and thankfully nothing horrible had happened.

However, it was now unlikely he would attempt to perform another 'port anytime soon.

Rather conveniently, the only way he could be pursued at this juncture was if ZUBs could teleport after him, and even then only if their sensors could detect him cloaked and underground as he was. And in that event, Egregore figured he could handle any battle better down here in the sewer than up in the alley with the tanks. Unless Tievos cared to teleport a good chunk of his forces into the sewers to pursue just one hostile, with high probability of immense casualties, the Egregore Device would off the chart in under two minutes...

Meanwhile, back in the alley, the various combatants may or may not have noticed the very small and *almost* inconspicuous power drone ascending at a descent pace away from the battle.
  3. Egregore performed a sudden, whip-lash like movement with an entire body and suddenly a Psi-Bomb had rolled rather conveniently underneath the M7A7 in the alley before detonating, hopefully taking out the operating crew of the tank as well as everyone around it. His original plan was still set, but now he was begining to wonder if Toy Dispenser's teleport was ever going to come through. If anything started firing his way, he was OUT of there...

And there was also no way in hell he would, or rather could surrender. Surrendering meant exploding violently.

'And, o' course, I already used up my immediate supply of Nuclear Blast modules. Work faster, stupid nano-synthesizers...'
  4. Millions nodded in response to Drago's question. "Theroretically we could just hop at the last possible moment, and be within the Sedadyne complex in less than five minutes. It's even possible to make sure the destination isn't one of their random warehouses. I'll make all the arrangements on our way there."

........And the entirety of everything in the RP forum never gets even a hundredth of the attention this one thread gets. Great.
  6. Millions coughed suddenly. "Er. If I may make a suggestion in that regard?" He said quietly, stepping forward slightly to be more visible, yet still keeping his head slightly bowed. "Crey is one of the world's top manufacturers of, err...Not to sound like an advert, but everything. Raw materials, technology, military hardware, medicine...Everything. It is very likely that Sedadyne still does business with Crey despite the hostile take-over. In which case, as an employee of Crey Industries, I could probably arrange for the next bulk shipment to contain a few extra...unlisted assets without them being listed on the manifest. With some stealth and proper application of force, we could get in and out with everything we need without stirring the nest."

He glanced up at the crowd.

"Er. Lots of 'ifs' in there though. Sorry."
  7. I once tried to join Whitmoore. In preperation, I read the last 200 pages.

And quite honestly, even aftering going over it twice, I still had no idea what the [censored] was going on. Some of the arcs have just been going for too long for newcomers to understand and participate in. It did not help that almost everyone was involved with everyone else.
  8. Millions, slightly puzzled by Drago's response and about to retort in a manner that would have made it very akward for the supposed Arachnos Agent, suddenly winced when Harbinger reacted in a hostile fashion to Stahlhund. He turned to the giant demon.

"Um. I'm really sorry Harbinger sir, but ah...Maybe we shouldn't go trying to antognize the people we are...Er...You know...going to be working with? Maybe? Possibly? .......Sorry...?"
  9. "How did you know my last name, if you don't mind me asking, sir?" Millions asked Drago.
  10. Egregore also waited for the incoming teleport, but in a different manner of sorts. Toy Dispenser had been very careful indeed about his first transmission. But Egregore had caught the second one, and frankly he had not trusted the android from the begining. So when everyone started to port, Egregore would follow suot, but to a more naturally secure location and not into what he suspected was a huge trap. And hey, he was leaving Legion with Kruger, so if everything worked out he could simply return with a second port if necessary.
  11. Millions had, of course, followed behind both Harbinger and Drago and was now using the large deamon-like man to hide him from view from those in the apartment.
  12. Apparently the special ops did not know about Egregore, having specifically surrounded Zeo and Isabel but not him. Shrugging, he made his chain-blade mace materialize and went about trying to separate the nearest newly arrived operative's body from his head...
  13. OOC:

Hey Doodaa. I think they meant that there are only four digits to use. You can't go over the number 4.
  14. "Explosions ahoy." Egregore said over channel three. Immediately, the entire street exploded as multiple charges went off. Three nuclear blast modules went off in the middle of clustered troops. Six acid grenades exploded between each group and around them, but each was just far away enough from civilians to avoid hurting them unless they had charged forward into the armed militant crowd. Finally, sixteen canisters of tear gas went off amongst the crowd, covering most of the street in thick, eye watering vomit-inducing gas.

Egregore Device decloaked next to Isabel, plasma rifle in hand and kinetic shield flaring, and started blasting approaching soldiers, but only once they had cleared the civilian line.
  15. Millions stopped listening to everything around him the moment the glass of milk was set down He lifted it up, and a second later the entire thing was gone. The noise it made as he swallowed for odd, as with most people it made an "ulp"ing noise. For Millions, it made an odd settling noise as if a sponge were absorbing it as it entered his mouth.
  16. "Got any milk?" Millions suddenly asked the bartender cheerfully as Drago went into the bathroom.
  17. "[censored]." Egregore swore loudly over the comm. "People: Evil Overlord's list, STAGED REVOLUTIONARIES. Advise getting the hell out of dodge. Our target is clearly not here. Also: Incoming hostiles from every possible direction. I love our new friend's helpful ideas and information."
  18. "Wait. You say he was fine until he came back out from the bathroom?" Millions asked the bartender.
  19. "Woah." Millions said, eyes widening as the barkeep drew up the shotgun. "Look, there's no need for violence here. We're all friends, aren't we...?"

    [i]'Don'tpanicdon'tpanicdon'tpanicdon'tpanicphmygodhe hasagunshouldhaveneverlefthomedon'tpanicdon'tpanic ...'[/'i] He thought.
  20. OOC:

Hey Grey, what about Millions and Drago?
  21. "My hand is light?" Millions said. "It feels about right...Um, that is, not to say you're wrong or anything sir. Sorry."
  22. Millions reached out a hand, which paused and hovered uncertainly above Drago's hand before falling. If the Arachnos Operative had decent feeling in his hand, he would immediately notice the lack of weight in the appendage, even for a hand. Almost as if there were no bones in it.
  23. "I will go ahead and cripple as many hostiles as I can during this suspiciously convenient distraction. I'm on channel 3." Egregore Device stated, silently answering Kruger's question as his combat invisibility activated and he vanished from sight. The sudden rush of air indicated that he had 'ported.
  24. "Does this mean we get to ride in a flier?" Millions said hopefully, almost looking Drago fully in the face before suddenly looking down at the floor again.
