Hmmmm maybe im wrong but im 99.9% sure your both BSing Numinas ++ and LoTG 7.75 global recharge are from TFs/ Trials not regular C drops, only time ive ever got a lotg 7.75 and numina ++ was when i a- completed a TF/Trial in old structure b- reward merits rolls c- ticket rolls, and i have over 10each of both enhancements on toons

Keep in mind, a large number of this person's previous posts were in a thread "Stopping Farming", where he seems to blame "teh ebil farmers" for all that is wrong with the game.

Seems to me, he has now moved to a new target: The Ebil Marketeer.

Once farming and marketeering is stopped, all will be well within the game world, purple recipes will flow like water, and the skies will rain candy gumdrops. Oh, and everyone gets a magic pony too.

Pretty much any controller or defender will perform well on teams. Just don't think of yourself as a "healer" and you'll be great.

I don't know about ASAP, but I'm always happy to grab a 50 and help folks run through any of the blueside respec trials. Send me a PM here or a tell in-game and we'll make it happen.

There are archetypes with support roles. Some of these have more powers that heal than others, but even those should not be classified as "healers". City of Heroes/Villains is NOT like other games.

Healing abilities fall far short of buffing and debuffing in this game when it comes to team support. A well played Empathy Defender can be a very useful addition to a team. An Empathy Defender that is played as a "healer" is about the least useful of any character type in the game.

I would personally select any other type of support character over a self-described "healer" 100% of the time, and pick up pretty much ANY other character of ANY class over a "healer" 99% of the time.

The market did not break the game. In fact, it was more than likely a huge factor in the long term success of the CoH franchise. MMO players like loot. They like tweaking and making their characters better. Adding a market and the invention system was a necessary step by the dev team.

While this is certainly a limited perspective based on my own playstyle, this game would not have held my attention for more than a couple months were it not for the market & invention system. Most of the people I play with in-game are the same way.

Since at least a few people expressed interest either privately or openly about future superteams, I'd like to suggest we make this a regular on-going event. Instead of Stationary Saturdays, we can go with Superteam Saturdays.

There are plenty of good superteam combos we can put together for future events, both blue & redside. Perhaps we could alternate: one hero team and then one villain team.

If there is sufficient interest, I'd like to suggest that once we finish with this group, we run an all /rad Corruptor team redside.

8 stacked AM's = 160% damage buff, 240% recharge, plus over 300% recovery (no need for Stamina at all)

8 Choking Clouds = near instant mag 8-16 PbAOE hold.

8 Enervating Field debuffs = 180% resistance debuff.

Add in stacked Leadership pool powers and it gets even more silly.

Assault x8 = another 120% damage buff, which combines with stacked AM for a total of 280% putting everyone just shy of the damage cap at all times.

Maneuvers x8 = About 32% defense to all.

Vengeance/Fallout/Mutation: Pure fun. (especially for Scrappy)

Pretty much any AOE based primary would work well with /rad. AR, Fire, Ice, etc.

Awesome idea Smurphy! I'd be happy to roll up any AT on any server and join in this noble endeavor.

You (and others like you) can keep using those same silly responses whenever someone posts something like this, but that does not change the fact that there is a not insignificant number of players that are being driven in this direction. They may not have made the actual decision yet to "jump ship", but that doesn't change the fact that some folks are actively looking for a replacement, or at least considering the possibility.

Anyone who thinks they are all the "OMG! Teh evil devs nerfed mah Rikti farmz!" players is being naive.
