Aw... no one showed up at all.
It's ok, because I changed who I am going to be running on the static team anyway. I have a new Ninja / Thermal Mastermind - Manson Geninfury
I will have him leveled to 20 by next weeks team time. He made it from level 1 to 10 in just a few hours.

If you go in the keymapping options you'll find that you can map nearest enemy to a key. I generally bind nearest to tab and next enemy to the G key. Works out well.
Another trick I've started using is to keep the targetcustomnext command string copied to clipboard so i can hit Enter, Ctrl+V then just type the name of what i'm looking for. Saves a ton of time. -
Hello All. It is Thanksgiving week and I know many people are planning on taking off or staying home and spending time with friends and family.

Sorry about missing last night- I joined an ITF with my SG and we decided to go slow. I kinda hoped it would give some of the rest of the team a chance to catch up since I think Kay and I have been 2-3 lvls above some people.

Due to a failed video card last week(right at the end of the static night) and a COMPLETE lack of time to swap it out (I've actually had the new one sitting on my desk since Friday, another shinny gts250 to swap out for the bad gts250......) and now with my father heading to the hospital tomorrow for either a stint or a major bypass surgery and my grandmother in the hospital also.......things are quickly sucking all my time.

After playing a MM only when they first came out, I came back to them just recently. I could not believe the end cost as I cast the upgrade on each minion. Then after a few days, I saw that the minions all had the upgrade after the first cast. I could not believe my eyes. I had to do it again just to make sure. I was so happy to see this change, I came here to the boards to find out the whole story. I'm very greatful they made this change. Upgrading the old way took for ever.

I'm sorry to see you down in the dumps about the PvP'ers here on Champion. I'm not a PvP'er. I've tried it a few times and I'm just not up for it. I like the ability to predict the play style of the NPCs in the game and defeat them. Trying to figure out a pack of 16 year old boys bent on destruction in a PvP zone is not my cup of tea. You couldn't offer me enough to head in there again. I've quit teams who decided to head in to the PvP zones for one reason or another and offered me to sit at the base and be safe.

Here's what we have planned. We will play our toons until lvl 20 where we will start the Positron TF (lvl 15+) We will keep doing Task forces until we all hit the lvl needed to unlock Tina McIntyre. We will do her arcs then Maria Jenkins all the way to lvl 50. Or we can just run around nuts till our heads explode! All I can say is 2 stone tanks + SB = Herd em and burn em!!!
We did our 1st one this past Tues and it was a fun time. With the new sk/ex system there was NO trouble at all other than no travel power LOL. Hope to see more enthusiasm next week!

I have Randy up to level 14. I didn't have plans for the other events and am available for the entire time set aside (how ever long). If you move the day, I may have a problem because of work and personal schedules. If you move the time out later, that's ok. (I'm Pacific Time, so earlier would prove to be a problem). It works. Grant Invis gives enough +stealth to make the recipient unseeable at any distance by any enemy that has standard perception. A single weaker stealth power, like Steamy Mist, only lets you get 10'-20' away before the enemy notices you.
Your pet still dies a-plenty by getting caught in cones and other AoEs. Don't worry. -
If cold was available 5 years ago, my first level 50 would be an Ice / Cold instead of Ice / Storm.
Storm is an awsome powerset and offers damage, debuff, -acc, stealth with def, and a heal with a stimulate kick that wakes an ally when they are mezzed.
Cold offers debuffs, shields, increase max hp, stealth with def, and additional slows.
I found that Storm when in a duo situation, made me more of a timid player. I found some of the powers to create more problems for us than I would have liked. It took some training and practice on keeping the powers from scattering the mobs or dragging other groups into the fight. Once I learned how to use the powers and how to make them work for me, it was an awsome combination, but the learning curve was painful. Cold combines shileds from sets like Thermal / Force Field / Sonic and the debuff and stealth powers of Storm that make the set much more control friendly. I also like the single target debuff that comes at level 1. Just a few slots and this power can be very helpful early on. Timing Frostwork just right and you have a boost to HP that the scrapper would really appreciate. I think it would be easier to manage than worrying about the scatter and chaos that Storm can bring (as fun as it is at times). -

The good news is, you can now Subscribe to the Group and/or "Discussions" so they will show up in your CP and make it easier for you to see if there is a new post.
The bad news is, the original list of posts is now consolidated into a single thread, so it'd have to be edited so the title makes more sense, instead of just being the name of the group. lol
The down side is if I change the order that I view the social group posts, it applies it to the forum posts too. I, of course, have to be one of those who like things different depending on what I'm looking at. I like the history first on the forums, but I like the current post first on the social group. Now I can't have it both ways.
