I didn't expect it to buff def, but acording to castle it does.
-
I havn't tried PvPing on test with a dominator no, but you are the first person not to say "I still can't get my domination bar full before I faceplant".
-
Only that PvPing with an Ice/Ice is hard work, but when you do win you leave your foes with a really suprised look!
Oh, and don't expect to ever use domination. -
Do that, and slot BoI 2 acc, 2 hold, 2 recharge reduction.
-
I still don't see why you want 2 accs in chillblain but only 1 damage in Jack Frost, the best damage power you have.
All Chillblain is good for is bringing down flyers, and you can always pop a yellow if you having trouble hitting in PvP.
You really nead some recharge reductions in BoI. Having hasten would help too, since in PvP you need to keep your target held then beat it to a pulp with melee attacks (If you use your ranged attacks you will run out of end before you can kill even a squshy). Using AA in PvP is a good way to run out of end in no time flat too, even slotted with 3 endrecs its still a hog. -
Castle said it affected def, I'm not sure about res. I seem to notice a slight difference, but it is to small to tell fer sure.
-
It boosts existing def/res, so it you have say combat jumping running it is boosted from 2.5% to 5% for a few seconds (which can be useful sometimes). If you don't have any def or res to start off with it wont help at all.
-
Well my Jack Frost definately uses a ranged hold. I really can't see the dominator version being diffent?
-
He does use block of ice at range, which is quite a useful extra hold. His Ice Sword does formidable damage though. You can always summon him on top of the mob.
-
End drain is a buff/debuff so defenders will drain significantly more than blasters or brutes with an equivelent power. They do less damage of course.
-
Why are you slotting Chillblain?
Why are you slotting Hover and Fly (I know it is nice to be fast, but I think you would do better fully slotting you attacks and key powers such as Frost Breath, Jack Frost and Glacier, and putting some confuse durations in AA). If you wnat to be fast go for Hasten and SS or CJ and SJ.
If you want to a lot of PvP you will probably want to include tactics. -
Doesn't it have exactly the reverse effect as Power Boost? Power Boost increases Fly speed and Jump hight and speed, so weaken should reduce fly speed and jump hight without completly canceling them (in theory).
-
The traps FFG has the advantage of not detoggling when you are mezed, so it can shorten the duration. I don't think either give very high mag mez protection, but remember that anything that increases your def can help to stop mez powers hitting. They should both stack with the protection from Acrobatics and Health.

In my view dominator is the hardest AT to solo, with the possible exception of a few types of defender.
-
A red Aura would probably look better on Yeti than a black aura.
According to some stats on the US site Power Sink has a slightly larger AoE than Drak Consumption. The only drawback is the largish activation cost.
The Seer appears to give protection from confusion as well as +perception, but I think I would pefer the heal. -
That is interesting, since the Dominator changes mean that the melee attacks in the fighting pool also do more damage. I really don't think I can fit it into my build without loosing other key powers though
.

IMO Robots is the best option for blasterminding, since you get the heal in your primary, and the protectorbots shields help to keep everyone alive longer.
-
The knockdown in AS should also stack quite nicely with Ice Patch against tougher foes.
-
This should help, however I agree, it apears we are ment to be blappers. It would be nice to get blaster level hp to go with it.
This will apply to pool power melee attacks though. Maybe pick up Air Sup and respec it out as 35? -
That actually looks pretty spiffy. Any pictures? I want to know if it will match my outfit.
-
The same as every other melee power...
-
The first tier mercs have some resistance, wheras the first tier thugs have none. The gain some defence from the second tier, but overall i susspect the suvivability of mercs is better.
-
I would imagine he just has built in high resistances.

Any idea what the % chance of sleep is on poison gas arrow?

If the mobs attack your pet rather than you you will build fury a little slower, so you need to make sure you get more aggro. Shouldn't be too hard. Or you could just not take the pet.
