  1. You know what the radius of Oil Slick is? 25 feet. You know what the radius of burn is? 8 feet. You know what the radius of Ice Patch is? 10 feet.

    In addition, Oil Slick does 50% more damage than Burn.

    They are dependent on people editing to remove speculation. Lots of speculation appears, but is usually noticed and removed. I doubt that page gets looked at very much.
  5. I looked at mine, and the distance between the shoulder piece and the elbow is very short on the huge model, especially doing the jump animation. It would be almost impossible for the biceps piece not to clip through the shoulder piece.
  6. Sounds like a graphics card driver issue. If your card is able to support those effects, it not communicating that to the game.

    That's what they always wanted to happen, but it proved impossible, so the pets where buffed to compensate.

    Ok, so now I just pull the AV to the mission door and duck in and out every time my pets get defeated.


    Or, you could just learn to be patient, or not insist on summoning and fully buffing all your pets before moving.

    For you perma Mind Link might not be that useful, since you and your teammate will have caped def anyway. However, before you start giving advice to others, you need to bear in mind that most players will have little or no +def, and will be very glad of being perma mind linked.

    It actually does -90% hp and -100% endurance. If you have your end boosted above 100% by accolades or set bonuses you won't get your end set to zero.

    Strongly implies that Duel Pistols has been discussed and designed.

    It should be, they have been talking about it for long enough, and Castle has hinted it will be the next "all new" set after shields.


    As far as I know there is no offical source for Spark Blade's AT and powersets. The paragonwiki entry appears to be speculative.

    Based on the vid we saw I would have put him as an Electric Blast/Katana blaster myself.
  12. It would be nice, but I suspect it quite likely that combined villain/hero team players woud get kicked whist in limbo between zones.
  13. 1) We already knew this.

    2) We already know it will be for blasters, corruptors and defenders, definately not scrappers.

    3) The devs have already decided what the powers will be, so making suggestions is a bit redundant at this stage. The smart money is on combos.

    Base AT powers are as generic as possible, it's up to the player to decide how they work.

    There is no such thing as "raw" energy. Electromagnetic radiation is as close as you are going to get.

  15. There is a limit to what you can do though, and it's not that hard for a big SG to have every useful thing currently available.
  16. Indeed. You don't have to take the shapeshifting or the shields on a PB. It does a perfectly good job of representing light powers in game.

    You also have Energy Blast to represent light powers.

    In addition, Defenders already have more powerset options than any other AT.

    So no, this would be redundant, the devs would be better spending thier time elsewhere.
  17. WP/BS probably the suvivability combo. Stone and Ice are the ones that won't have the best synergy, and might want to skip Parry.

    Stalker Electric Armour proves that they don't change powers just because the proliferated version is rubbish.
  18. I don't see why they wouldn't. It's a tankers job to take damage, not to do it.
  19. EBs are a whole other kettle of fish to AVs, because the regen is much much slower. I could defeat an EB with almost anything without breaking into a sweat.
  20. Ill/kin doesn't have the best AV killing synergy, since the PA can't be buffed, so they won't contribute much damage, and the phant does fairly lackluster damage. AV killing Illusion works best with a debuffing set (/rad is best), since the PA is good against targets with resistance debuffed.

    Illusion/TA can take AVs, if you alow the use of temp pets.

  24. It won't be down to size, it will be a matter of relative proportions. NPC crab spiders have thier model sliders pushed to the max, but they still all use the Male body type.

    Relative dimensions are different on the Huge and Female bodies, I expect in this case it is the upper arm length/width ratio that would cause the problem.
