what a [censored] whiner. Our completely tricked out base that supports a lot of people, rent just came doing for a measly ~2500 instead of 40k+...so he must have a lot of storage items or something.

The devs even fixed it so that you now earn prestige AND influence in SG mode, so the old arguement doesn't stick.

If you don't see the value of the base items enough to do a TF a month to pay for em, you shouldn't have em to begin with. I am playing a new alt on a new ST on a new server with no Telepads or storage and I'd give my left arm AND do two Posi's, nekkid in the snow, to have base items.

But ya, they've had something similar for a while now. But from what were reading in Posi's note, our version wont be exp, but other bonuses. The best part of it, is our bonuses will be VARIED, meaning if you need more cash, log off at Atlas city hall. Need salvage for crafting? Log off at the University.

This feature is pure win. Awesome job Devs.

I suspect that they're filling out some of the gaps in the sets -- for example, there are no Healing sets that give a bonus to Accuracy, even though several of the heal powers require that you hit a target to get the heal..

What I tought would be cool (taking into account the "virtual" lvl 60 discussed in that survey), what would be cool is if players (heroes and vilians) unlocked epic power pools at 41, and would get Patrons at 50. THe patron powers would come "as-is", and couldnt be slotted. And since you would be 50, you would earn "Patron respect points" (name=Work-in-progress) instead of experience points. Thus making you "learn" what they have to teach you.

-Darkening of Dark Astoria for sure. Maybe add a TF for it, wich would trigger zombie invasions upon completion?

-Destruction of Siren's call
-Destruction of Baumtown
-Binding of Bat'zul
-"Death" of GhostWidow
-"Death" of War Witch.
-The day Atlas fell

Damn... that was awesome.

The storytelling and all out flow of the video was excellent. The story really came across, not to mention the "power manifestation" section was just amazing; the ressurecting soldier, the woman bursting into flames, the guy levitating cars (still trying to figure out how you pulled off that one ).

Something people didnt seem to talk about alot so far in this thread was the voice acting. I just want to give a quick props to that cause it's one of the things that really came out and "got me". The interaction between Stephan and Marcus was spot on, and their voices just sounded great, what I would imagine LR and States would sound like.

Ok, Havent been on the game yet, but I just finished checking out the patch notes... everything looks ok, but this caught my eye.

"Taunt Aura powers, such as Invincibility, no longer accept Taunt IO Set Enhancements. "

Is this a joke? Am I reading this right!? No taunt IO sets in taunt auras?!?!?! What's up with that?!?!?!

I tought taunt IO sets were MADE for taunt powers. Taunt toggles being THE ONLY powers that could justify 6 slotting a taunt IO set. I mean, who is going to 6 slot taunt?!

Yep, this was my guess too.

I'm guessing every major villain factor will be getting a major overhaul like the rikti did so all the villains can be up to date. Plus the Nemesis would fit well with the current story line that i10 brought.

Not to mention that steam warhorse pic we saw a short while ago...
