I would put the stealth IO in combat jumping. That way you don't have to have the end drain of sprint. The problem there is that it will turn off when you super jump.
[/ QUOTE ]
Another thing to consider is that the stealth lasts for a full 2 minutes after detoggling your sprint.
And other then combat the end drain isn't enough to make a huge difference, unless you're trying to rest next to the enemy...
then it still works for 2 minutes.
Also... the Stealth IO is 30'... same effect just makes it so bosses can see you at very close range. -

For Warburg, I found that the best stalker hunter is another stalker
[/ QUOTE ]
I did this once, my GF was getting missiles and I decided to "hunt" her... then I saw another Stalker closing in on my prey!!!
They regretted that! I had a higher perception then they had stealth... The whole fight took about 5 minutes, funny as hell when we both hit placate... gave me AS a second before she could attack again which killed "her".
Good times! -
I may be wrong, but the claws animations were made before BABs got hired on... correct?
Either that or he just got better at his craft, because DB just looks so... amazing!
But DB! -
I almost never take travel powers nowadays. I recently started playing an old toon again that SS and keep thinking "Why is this on here?"

The change to how Phase works in PvP (phased can attack/be attacked by other phased)
[/ QUOTE ]
They actually added that? Sweet.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah... Here... in PVP section -
How ever many join up, really.
If we have one, two, or three teams, all good with me!
The new and improved Shado-Strike will be making his appearance. [DM/SR for those that don't know him] -

Geez...I was joking! LOL Im very very happy. Me love you long time...oh wait NO pimping..sorry.
Now...please correct me if IM wrong please. The Merits thing (yes iVe been gone that long) dont you need to do a TF? or something with a group to start? Or am I mistaken. I have a baby daytime so its hard to group. I feel bad going...gotta go change a poopy diaper brb...or gotta tickle my daughter for a min brb...etc etc
[/ QUOTE ]
One of the inherent problems with the internet... sarcasm doesn't transfer well.
Everything you wanted to know about merits... but were afraid to ask.
This will give you the lowdown and fill you in on what gives you what rewards.
Story Arcs, trials, TFs and GMs...
Those can all give you Reward Merits.
Hope that helps! -
SO....
All Scrapper rikti raid on Sunday at 7pm EST? -
[ QUOTE ]
Yeah been playing with mids....I guess I havnt played enough with differnt power sets and what I can do with IOs...that being said. HOs are 50 mil a pop...well..dont see that happening lol
WAIT>...Ill go pimp myself out! WOOT!
lets see 150 milllion divided by 250 inf per pimp...mmmm Im gonna be sore
[/ QUOTE ]
There's just no pleasing you is there?
I tell you about someone that did what you're asking for... they give you a build and... still not happy.
You are however in luck because... Scrappers rock! They can solo just about anything, they can generate merits to make recipes that when bought and then sold on the market can easily net you between 50-100 mil.
No pimping necessary!
You wanna play a scrapper? Play a scrapper! -
Umm....
Amateur Movie Scrapper moment, [gotta have a youtube account and be over 18] Street Fight
Forgot to say... first video is the one I'm talking about... but plenty of others to go with it. -
I don't use ToF in my build, never had it, and don't miss it... [I do have in currently on my DM/Regen]
I make use of DC but its rather infrequent, my recovery is pretty decent and I don't normally need it, unless I'm running sprint.

Teams well, solos well, AV kills, and farms well... what more could you want? -
[ QUOTE ]
Additional "synergy" can be found amongnst the 2 sets. Dark Melee offers a frequently available heal to keep the green bar full while Dull Pain is recharging. DM will also provide stacking TOHitDeBuffs that assist with INV's typed defenses. You also get a moderate +End power in Dark Consumption to offset the lack of one in INV. Hell, with this combo and the right IO's, you should be able to solo various AVs/EBs and maybe even a Rikti Pylon.
[/ QUOTE ]
This has already been done, I believe the posters name was "Aliana" or "Alina"... I can't remember, but the toon was DM/Inv -
This is one of my favorite Scrapper scenes, kinda long but good! Twin Warriors
Not a movie per se... but a nike commercial
Nike -
Thanks, I'll try the look change first, that is after all the easiest... like I said I love DM.
Thanks -
I don't know what it is. I just am not enjoying any /SD scrappers.
I rolled 3 /SD scrappers, a MA, FM, and most recently a DM, but I just can't get into the set.
The MA is sitting at level 10, and hasn't been touched in over 100 days, the FM/ is deleted, and the DM/ is sitting at 9 and I can't decide if I should keep him or just roll a shiny new DM/WP scrapper.
What am I missing? Is it more fun in the late game? -
I was stunned!
I mean I knew the power color would be awesome... but all this?
This makes up for issue 13 and 15!! -
Well... I had this crazy idea
Since all us Scrappers love carnage and pure scrapperlock, how about we do an All Scrapper Rikti Raid? -

[ QUOTE ]
Well.... just so happens that I have a 50 DM/Regen and would strongly consider IOing out if I see a nice build to base him off of.
[/ QUOTE ]
And lo, Umbral came down from on high (the Cimeroran Wall is pretty high up there, right?) and saw that his fellows needed guidance, so he grabbed his build and gave it to 'em.
Chock full of damage (MG>Smite>Siphon>Smite plus decent AoE in Shadow Maul, DC, and SD), defense (33.5% melee defense anyone?), and boatloads of recharge (cuz everyone wants to be able to use Reconstruction more than 3 times a minute, right?).
[/ QUOTE ]
Many thanks Wanderer! -

Yes, yes i know buffs/debuffs go a long way in this game, i've played that game, now i want to kill stuff w/ brute force.
[/ QUOTE ]
Buffs?
The only buffs we get are build-up and some of us take some leadership.
But to answer your question. I'm a big fan of DM, after the buff it got a few issues back, its one of the better sets out there, good DPS, Soul Drain is an awesome build up, and poorly resisted damage type send this set into Godhood! Tack on the self-heal that doubles for a massive ST attack, and an PBAoE End recharger, this is one set that fill holes in just about any secondary.
1/2 my 50's are DM... check the sig
That being said all the scrapper primaries are top notch, if you wanna solo AVs the only one that looks like a poor choice would be spines... but I'll let the respective experts tell you about those sets. -
I took Torrent for some crowd control and regularly take on "The Wall" in Cimerora.
Have no problem what so ever and can usually take them down saving the Surgeon for last -
Regretfully... I need to bow out of this one.
I'm actually gonna be going outta town this Sunday and not sure what time I'm gonna be home, I doubt however, it will be in time to join in.
Have fun, I look forward to hearing about how y'all do!!
[edit: BTW for all the people that wanted to do the last one but couldn't because of test not copying, check now... Shado-Strike was copied for me today] -

I always saw Shadowhunter and him as the warmup AVs.
[/ QUOTE ]
Bobcat too. I warmed up on her just the other day. She was my first. What? She was the first AV I soloed, what did you think I meant? I did end up using a couple greens since her Spin got through just about every time (haven't softcapped AoE yet) and she got a few lucky shots past my softcapped melee defense.
Anyway, you guys inspired me. I'm on the path to more now. So far I've got Bobcat, Shadowhunter, and Hro'Dtohz. I did use greens against each of them, but I'm still new to it and I'd rather be safe than sorry. No temps or other insps though, for what that's worth. And Hro'Dtohz, not sure if he really counts since I went into it with the three pets the mission gave me, but they really only functioned to distract the ambushes lol.
[/ QUOTE ]
I pulled Hro'Dtohz away from them, used the mobs for Soul Drain fodder... loser tped outta there spoiling my picture
Didn't someone post once about Nemesis and Hro' being mad that these scrappers keep showing up to solo them at the same time?
