So, what about something like a 48 hour warning?
Perhaps they could even throw it on the front page of the website - "Rikti Detected heading towards server X! Be prepared at 6pm at Founders Falls & St. Martial!" With a little countdown timer underneath it. -

And the main reason that it's a US flag is that Paragon City, regardless of which country you're playing the game from, is set in Rhode Island, on the Continental United States of America. Which means it would be nonsensical to have the flag of any other nation up there.

So, they wanted feedback but I haven't seen much being posted aside from "It's awesome" (even though it was awesome!), so I thought I'd start a thread for it.
Stuff I would like to see:- A few Vanguard spawning on our side. Even though we won, it doesn't make sense for them to not put any forces forward to defend their own depots and other places. A couple of HVASs would just be awesome
- Dropships - From what I heard, they did have them on last weeks raid, but I didn't see any on Union on Friday, so they may have been removed
- The sky needs to go Green and the WWs need to go down like the normal invasions (perhaps even run a normal invasion at the same time, to provide the atmosphere, extra rikti, dropships, and extra badges)
- Server wide announcements on the Admin channel (perhaps do it on all servers in the server group, as some people have characters on multiple servers) - One of the biggest complaints I have seen is people saying they had no idea it was going on, and this would

That was seriously awesome, probably one of the funnest things I've done in this game. Come back and do it again next week
I was playing with two friends who only just started playing on Wednesday. They had a raid on (eww) WoW to go to at 7:30, but they stayed for the invasion instead
And we noticed a small bug: They were getting Vanguard Merits from the Master at Arms (and only him), but they are level 12 and don't have the badge prerequisite.
EDIT: Small suggestion: Spawn some combat-enable Vanguard guys outside the depot. -
