The power: Mutation
- Clicking this will give you a random mutation for 30 seconds
- Has a 5 second rooted cast animation
- Changes your character model and opens a new temporary power tray*
- Each mutation grants the following:
- 3 active powers (these powers have faster than normal recharge times)
- 1 or more automatic toggles
- A proc power that has a 3% chance of going off every second
- Resistance to one or more damage types, and a weakness to one or more damage types
- When the mutation wears off, you are held for 5 seconds as you turn back into your normal self and then drained of all of your endurance for 30 seconds
- Very long recharge
Some possible mutations:- Infernal
- Model: A GR Demon Summoning model
- Powers: Fire Breath, Fire Sword, and a Hellfire Whip power
- Auto: Blazing Aura, +Res (Fire), -Res (Cold, Energy)
- Proc: Fire Imps (that last until Mutation drops)
- Electron
- Model: Voltaic Sentinel
- Powers: Chain Induction, and Zapp
- Auto: PBAoE End Drain, Fly, +Res (Energy), -Res (Negative, Cold)
- Proc: EM Pulse (Blaster version)
- Bedrock
- Model: Brown Granite armour
- Powers: Stone Cages, Fossilize, Quicksand
- Auto: Rooted, +Res (Smash, Lethal, Fire, Cold, Energy, Negative) -Res (Psi, Toxic)
- Proc: Granite Armour (lasts until Mutation drops)
- Toxic
- Model: ???
- Powers: Barb Swipe, Neurotoxic Breath, Impale
- Auto: Quills, Integration, +Res (Toxic), -Res (Smash, Lethal)
- Proc: Noxious Gas (on self, lasts until Mutation drops)
- And there would be an ice one, a radiation one, a darkness one, etc, you get the idea
Costumes: Not entirely sure, but I would go for more animal/organic looking costumes.
Emotes: Again, not entirely sure, aside from a CCE that uses the Mutation animation.
Another possible addition could be stance customization, as this would allow the tech to allow for stance customization to be paid for by booster pack sales, but that depends on how hard it would be to implement it.
Also, the tech for bringing up a temporary power tray would also allow for some pretty cool missions, for example there could be one where you take over a turret, or a tank, or a ship of some sort using the same tech, and again, this tech would be paid for by booster pack sales. -

But, on a more serious note, I'll buy pretty much anything that isn't temporary (like the Jetpack booster). -
I want walk to have a 1% chance of triggering Self Destruction every 10 seconds. That will be much more fun than a new animation.

I'm going to hazard a guess and say that the majority of Jay & Co's time has been taken up building GR NPCs at the moment. However they are probably going to be done way before launch, perhaps even quite soon, so we might be seeing some new sets sooner rather then later.

It doesn't restrict you to MA style costumes at all. All of the pads have non-textured options that go well with pretty much everything. The non patterned robes can be pretty versatile, too.

Firstly, thanks for playing and for the feedback
The main problem that you seemed to be having - the lack of GR info - is being rectified with another arc that will act as an introduction, giving you some backstory and then the choice of joining the Resistance or the Loyalists (and therefore branching off into two different arcs), so you don't go in blind.
Leister is set as an EB. There was a problem with him not being able to die before, but I fixed that a few days ago and you probably played it before I did.
Leister has a story if you go to his info in the actual mission, but I had to cut it down in the contact info due to the 300 character limit
I'll try and edit the Resistance bios - Text/storyline in general is not my forte though - gameplay is, hence all the crazy mechanics, so I always have trouble here
Same goes for the debriefing, but I'll see what I can do.
Mission 3 is meant to make you feel really, really, really evil, so I'm glad that worked
Leister's general tone is meant to be a bit desperate in mission 4, I was trying to give of the impression that they aren't all powerful like Cole would have everyone believe.
Ph1L0t1x & The Undrn3t actually come from here, PK allowed me to use his ideas for the arc. The reason there is very little description for it is because the Loyalists don't know any more than you do about it.
XP: Yeah I know that's a problem but there's not much I can do. I took some powers away as they were just too hard before :/
I'll add in some clues too. Completely forgot about that for some reason.
I'll tweak Ph1l to make him more killable, but I'd like to leave his end drain in as it makes him more of a challenge than your bog standard boss.
I'll make Cap a bit weaker too.
This may take a while for me to update as MW2 has been sucking up all of my time as of late, but I really do appreciate the feedback -
Any idea if us Euro folk will get to test it too?

How exactly will it be handled? As I can't see Cole's hospitals catering for Resistance members.
Will each faction have their own hospitals (and by extension, their own safe zones)? Anyone else got any theories? -
The first arc has been updated again. I got rid of Red Iron and replaced him with a new character as there's a pretty high chance he'll be made redundant when GR comes out. I also tweaked it a bit to reduce the overall difficulty and reduced the length of the third mission by about 2/3rds to make it a bit more solo friendly.
